Emilia's place is a fantastic home located in the center of an urban block. The home itself is very spacious, modern, and comes with excellent amenities. We had a terrific stay at this location and took advantage of its proximity to the cities of Heredia and San Jose. It was also a nice 'jumping off' place to get to the airport in less than half an hour. We were using a rental car, but the area is well serviced by public transportation. There are a number of restaurants and small shops within easy walking distance of the home.

Emilia is a great host, very helpful. Communication was fast and the house is great! Very clean, nice and bright! Looking forward to staying there again soon.

We loved this house. My husband is from Costa Rica and I lived there for a while and I can say this was the nicest house we've stayed at. We loved the natural light allowed by all the windows, the spacious living areas, the comfortable beds and linens, the yard, the modern and tasteful bathrooms, cable TV and the location. Marta and her husband were very helpful and kind as well. We would love to stay there again next time we travel to CR.

The house is very nice, with everything you need to spend a few days. Nearby you find shops and restaurants. Martha Emilia and very friendly. A half hour from the airport and downtown San Jose.

This house is even more beautiful in person! Emilia and her family were wonderful hosts. She was quick to reply to my messages and they are truly nice people. The neighborhood is nice and we felt safe and enjoyed walking around town.

Emilia's place was very nice. It's a gorgeous home, cozy, and perfect for our family of 6. One of our kids slept on the ample couch and the other on a comfortable extra mattress in the tv room. The queen and twin beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need for cooking for our family. We only wish the weather had been a bit warmer so we could have enjoyed the two nice patio areas. The only two drawbacks were that there was no dryer, (the washer came in handy) and the parking space was snug for our large Rental SUV.

I'm REALLY glad that we stayed at Luis House. It is a beautiful, clean and private room (with a private entrance), and Luis and her mother are the best hosts ever! I think staying with them is exactly what an Airbnb experience is supposed to be. He was very supportive from the beginning, offering options of what to do in Costa Rica and her mother even invited us to have breakfast at her house on our first day on the country. Luis gave us all the information we needed to get to his house and he even went with us the next morning to take us closer to the Volcán Poás. I highly recommend his place and of course I could stay there again!

Luis was very helpful and attentive. He helped us find the way. His place was very comfortable and within range to shops. We had a wonderful time at Luis's place. We also enjoyed the home-made snacks from Luis's family, that was very nice of them.

This private 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment was perfect for our adult son and us. It's the corner of the home where the host couple lives; walled-off from the rest of the house so you have privacy yet the hosts are just a phone call or door knock away in the same building. And they're wonderful hosts, attentive, caring, warm ...a mom/dad team who spoke Spanish, and their adult son who speaks great English. Mireya, the mom, had delicious homemade whole-grain loaves of bread and cookies waiting for us in our room. As well as coffee and teas...and pitcher of cold drinking water in the mini-fridge. The studio apt was very clean, good ventilation (windows in bathroom and bedroom), and secure. Tall wrought-iron fencing around entire property enclosing garden space, with keyed garden gate as well as front door, and garden light. We had access to owners' nice garage to park our rental car in. The mom was available to ask any questions of..tourist advice, and we also had some good, deeper conversations on comparing our two cultures, life, etc. She spoke slowly enough for me to process the Spanish, and her totally fluent son was available as well. They took us to El Castillo Club, where they're members. Its restaurant balcony has a great panoramic view, there's an ice rink, huge pool, workout rooms, espresso bar, garden paths. From our apartment, we had fun walking the 5 minutes to good local eateries, bars, stores, the farmers' market. San Rafael de Heredia is a nice, smaller community about 5 minutes by car from the larger city of Heredia, where several universities are. We were scoping it all out for our daughter who'll be attending college there soon, and we feel really good about everything after spending time in San Rafael at Luis Angel's apartment, getting to know his wonderful family and other nice locals at our favorite organic cafe/shop El Mercadito, and a local bar, Tite, with a good dance floor and friendly regulars who showed us basic swing criollo and cumbia steps :) and the artful/delicious eatery, La Cocina de Tita, where the husband/wife took time to sit and chat with us. We enjoyed our time at Luis Angel's place and look forward to another visit!

Hello friends tell you that our stay with Luis and his family was really wonderful, Luis and his parents are very friendly and super willing to make you spend a nice time in this lindisima and strategic city of San Rafael de Heredia people, room very comfortable, secure optimal cleaning departe Mrs. Mirella, the only situation not great but passable is the street noise.

We absolutely recommended this place to stay as many days as you need. Mireya is an excellent host that gave us a warm welcome and made sure we felt like home during our stay. And even recommended us some touristic places to visit. The place is as shown, bed and pillows are super comfortable which is one of the most important things for us. There are several restaurants within the area but our favorite was Katuay. Give it a try and you won't regret it.

Luis place is amazing! The flat has it's own entrance, is modernly furnished, very clean and has a great comortable bed. Luis is also a great host! He was very helpful and gave as a lot of info when we went to San Jose for the day. His mum evene made us breakfast one day and Luis took us on a day long trip to show us the area. 100% recommended!

I enjoyed my short stay at the home of Jeannette and Antonio, as they were were outstanding for my welfare at all times. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet, the room is comfortable and clean, surrounded by a natural environment and beautiful vistas.Fui received with great kindness with my two dogs traveling conmigo.Cualquier thing you need during your stay in this accommodation, be assured that Jeannette and Antonio will do everything in their power to help. The garden has fruit trees and the hosts provide you handsomely paid off, plus a rich breakfast not only enjoy myself, but also my dogs who could walk freely around the garden, having also their space in the room, which is a good reason for choosing this accommodation when traveling with dogs. Without a doubt, if you need to travel to St. Joseph or surroundings would choose the home of Jeannette and Antonio, as it is located in a quiet area very close to the airport and the capital., But especially for its warm and close attention me and my dogs. I was pleasantly grateful to Jeannette and Antonio for their tremendous hospitality, whom I've not only good experience but also a new friendship.

Everything about our stay was awesome. Walter was extremely helpfull with helping us find the place. the apartment was brand new, private and very safe with evetthingg you need from kitchen supplies to towels etc. When we arrived we were greeted with ice cold water melon juice, and as i was traveling with my girlfriend walter was even kind enough to leave a bottlenof wine and chease in the living room. place is great! host is great! cant recomend him enough!!

We were blown away by Walter and his beautiful apartment this weekend. The apartment had everything we could need, including laundry facilities, a full kitchen, linens, etc. Parking was provided in a locked garage--very safe. Wifi was great. Several channels in English. 2 tvs. It was very clean and comfortable. More than that, Walter was the best host ever. He went out of his way and beyond to make sure not only that we were comfortable in his apartment, but that we enjoyed our stay in Costa Rica. He asked us about dinner, and personally called in an order for us and accompanied my husband to walk to the restaurant to pick it up (3 blocks away--great food!). He discovered my husband has a deep interest in local fruits, so the next day he drove my husband to the farmers market and showed him around the rare and exotic fruits there--making sure he picked good specimens, and showing him how to eat them. He was always there to help with advice, directions, etc. His enthusiasm for Costa Rica and his commitment to being a consummate host was felt every minute. Thank you Walter!

The owners of the room were very friendly with us and had a lot of patience for us because we arrived very late at night. In the morning we were taken to the village. The room was wonderful in all very clean and modern look. I recommend it to everyone if they want a place soledo.

First I just want to thank Robert for his hospitality. He was really friendly and flexible with the check in. He welcomed use with a great smile, recommended great places to visit and provide breakfast items that came in handy the next morning. the house is just wonderful and I'm 100% sure next time we visit Costa Rica I'm staying with Robert again. Costa Rica is a great, wonderful, magical place full with beautiful beaches and nature. The house is near the SJO airport and very accessible to travel to volcan Poas, Irazu, Puntarenas and my favorite Manuel Antonio. Again Robert, thank you very much.

This was a great listing. Robert was very flexible and communication was excellent. The space was perfect for my husband and I and there was everything we needed to have a wonderful vacation. The neighbourhood had some really great stores nearby and some very nice places to grab a night to eat. A very lovely experience. I highly recommend this listings for a couple who wants to be in the local scene of Costa Rica.

Robert's Vacation-Rental Condo is a warm & cozy unit with numerous modern touches and very useful features in each room. We definitely appreciated the new kitchen appliances,the in-unit washer & dryer and numerous other modern & useful housewares & decorative touches. Robert was always available to us when we needed to ask his advice about the area and some of the community services. We felt very relaxed and at-home in the condo and also regarded Robert as an easy to talk to and reachable Host. He speaks English,as well as Spanish of course,and that was a definite bonus when we needed his input. As a Host,Robert is a very good Airbnb Ambassador and we've already spread the word about him to our friends & family who are also eager to travel and stay in the Central Valley for some of the time that they're going to vacation in Costa Rica. My trip started out with a canceled flight due to volcanic ash after one of the volcanoes erupted. Rearrangements needed to be made and Robert was able to help me out when I was in a pinch. Awesome place to set up shop, close enough to the city without being in the noise - Throughout my month of travels in Costa Rica, Robert was the most helpful host.

We had a fantastic stay in Robert's casita (13 nights). Robert was very helpful and welcoming. All the equipment was clean and well maintained. The location was perfect, away from the main road but close enough to San Jose to make the most of it. Very up-to-date TV equipment with a lot of channels and a perfect internet connection, which was very helpful for us. Overall 5 out of 5 for this Airbnb!

I stayed two days and the experience was more than amazing, my girlfriend and I really liked Fernando's place and we are sure we're going to be back. The place is in San Rafael de Heredia, but not downtown, it is far away from the noise, smoke, everything that is in the city and has a beautiful view. I really recommend this place because Fernando is a great host, the place is new, quite, very clean and fully secure.

When they say "privacy, peace and life" they mean it. Oscar and his son Diego were extremely gracious hosts! Always attentive to your needs. I was received by Oscar upon arrival, he ensured I had all the information needed. I met his son who was always helpful and always responded with a genuine beautiful smile. They were both extremely accommodating at check-in and check-out times which I deeply appreciated. Beautiful, private and relaxing atmosphere in a prime location is what you'll find here. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable, the kitchen had everything I needed and opened up to the living room and dining room with amazing natural light and lovely decorations. Plus you can always enjoy the pool during a hot day. You will feel right at home, I would definitely recommend without hesitation. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

This place is absolutely amazing. It is the really comfortable apartments for long stay (we stayed 2 weeks and we didn't want to leave this place). Oscar gave us everything to feel like at home - from the kitchen staff to umbrella, alive flowers, candles, books... We was worried about the AC before we booked it, but we newer felt hot because of the climate in Heredia - it is always windy and fresh. I highly recommend this place for everybody! Thank you Oscar!

This apartment is actually even nicer than it looks. Very modern and nicely furnished. We had an issue with the bed sheets which the owner's son kindly handled promptly. We were in town taking Spanish classes in downtown Heredia and this apartment was a great home base. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

We really loved our stay at this apartment! It was very relaxing and well decorated. The art is super cool. There is a market down the street, which is nice when you want to grab a snack or some groceries. Really nice neighborhood. The apartment is so relaxing, I would definitely recommend!

The photos are very accurate, the bed is comfortable and the kitchen has what you need to prepare meals. The property is large, secure and the guards are friendly. We had a minor issue at the beginning, but it was quickly resolved by Daniela. I would stay again.

My girlfriend and I spend two nights at Daniela's and Jimena's place and enjoyed our stay. The apartment is clean and neat, the kitchen is spacious has enough cooking utensils to cook a proper meal. The bedroom and bathroom are spacious as well and the bed is comfortable. The apartment is situated in a quiet and guarded area, just a short taxi ride or a 15 min walk away from the city center of Heredia. We can definitely recommend staying at Daniela and Jimena's apartment.

We stayed at Daniela's apartment for two nights and had a pleasant time there. Located in a nice gated building, surrounded by trees, with a nice pool, the apartment is modern, bright and nicely decorated. The apartment has a large bedroom suite with a walk-in closet and a comfortable bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a small living room. You'll find everything you need, from the hair dryer to the iron, clean linens, dishes, everything. Daniela is a very nice host. We had several questions during our stay and she was very quick to react, available and helpful.
