  • One of the best views ever, and the cottage was so cozy and comfortable and the atmosphere was fantastic

  • What a hidden gem! Loved this cottage. The views are stunning of the bay of fundy and the cottage has everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed our 2 nights and slept well. We highly recommend this location for privacy and peaceful relaxation while exploring advocate cove area. Donna was an amazing hostess always available and knowledgeable about the area! We appreciated chatting with her, and learning more about Nova Scotia she is doing everything right!

  • Loved it here! Awesome view, cozy space and good coffee. What more could you want!

  • Book your stay here. You won’t regret it. The views from Top of Tides are indescribable!! You can see the incredible tide changes from the comfort of the cottage, or wander down the beach trail to see them for yourself! The location is just outside of the quaint town of Parrsboro (5 minutes). The house itself is cozy, well decorated, and stocked with everything you could want or need. Don’t miss a chance to stay here!!

  • We returned home today from a one week stay at Donna's cottage. The Bay of Fundy is one of Canada's wonderlands, and this cottage's location in West Bay outside of Parrsboro is stunning. It is positioned to maximize the views. Every hour presents a different vista with changing light and the flow of the tides. There is even a bald eagle in the neighbourhood. The area is very quiet and we felt totally at peace. The photos of the cottage and the setting are very accurate especially the one of the setting sun. The cottage is modern and well equipped. We were very comfortable. Donna and Mike are great hosts. They were very accommodating and helpful. We certainly plan to return.

    Dean2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • I had a wonderful time staying at Donna and Mike's cottage. It is exactly as described with a beautiful view of the bay. The cottage is cosy, nicely furnished and extremely clean. I will definitely be returning in the future.

    Meghan2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Comfortable and clean. Great views of the water. Cute decor and comfortable seating. Cozy and quaint. Enjoyed the area as it was close enough to even take a day and drive to see the Hopewell Rocks. Our hosts were quick to respond to any questions or needs.

    Ginny2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • This a wonderful place, just as described. Breathtaking views from both cottage and decks. Beach access is nearby and easy to get to, and very interesting at low and high tide. Close to Parrsboro, an interesting small town partially via unpaved road.

  • Julie’s place was magnificent the decor was beautiful and inviting. Being on the Bay of Fundy was a magical experience. Book this cottage you will not be disappointed!

    Kathy2019-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • The place is really great! An eco house in comfort! Very pretty: tastefully decorated! Very well equipped also for cooking: sharp knife, wine glasses :) Very clean! The bed is very comfortable. The view of Bay of Fundy and Cape Split is splendid! The tides are impressive. Well located; near Port Williams (vineyard, cheese factory, microbrewery) and Grand Pré (vineyards and park Canada). The butcher shop in Canning is also worth the detour!

  • This as a beautiful location, especially if you just want to relax and watch the tide go in and out! The bed is the most comfortable we had our whole trip -so comfortable. Very lovely, decorated beautifully. We would gladly stay there again.

  • The place exceeded my expectations (which were already high!). I was not entirely sure it was the right place to go with our 14 months old baby but he had a blast and so did we. Sean even brought more toys from his place which was very thoughtful of him. We are already planning a second trip for this summer. Highly recommended!

The location is quiet and the home is nestled within the beautiful pastoral scenery. Katie and Alex provide a grill, fire pit, and a hammock should you have the time to just chill a bit and to soak in the Nova Scotia splendor. If I plan on returning to the area, I will definitely be seeking out this place. My highest recommendation!

  • This is a wonderful place to stay for a few days or an extended visit. It’s a spacious, clean, nicely furnished cottage that’s adjacent to farmlands with a peek of the bay. It’s in a very quiet area on a lightly travelled road. Convenient location only a short drive or bike ride to the beach and pier or into town. The host is available and responsive. It was nice to have air conditioning on the few warm days.

Take in sea air and expansive views of the Atlantic Ocean from this cosy and contemporary rural private apartment; fully furnished, with a separate entrance and deck. Enjoy the use of an acoustic guitar, firepit, telescope and record player...
Welcome! Bienvenue! Take in sea air and expansive views from cosy and contemporary Seaview Sanctuary. The self-contained apartment above Dave & Colleen's seaside residence offers stunning views from a private deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The apartment has a separate entrance and is a few minutes' walk from the beach and astonishing tides of the Bay of Fundy, in beautiful and historic Port Greville. This bright, fully furnished 1-bedroom apartment is roomily laid out, and has windows on three sides to take in the views. Open the deck door to channel the lovely local sea breezes, if you like. The vaulted ceilings have exposed wooden beams and the bedroom can comfortably sleep two, with potential for three, having both a double and a single bed. A pull-out double sofabed is also available. The apartment has a private four-piece bathroom (large clawfoot tub with shower), as well as a new stove and half-size fridge. A microwave, electric kettle, toaster and coffeemaker can also be found. There are books and a telescope; a dining area, writing desk, firepit, and kitchen table. Wireless internet, deck chairs, an acoustic guitar and a record player are on hand too-- bring your own vinyl, or listen to ours.. As much as possible, we use natural cleaning products and hang-dry the linens. Fall asleep on these to the ebb of the ocean, and in summer to the sweet calls of the Peepers.. Nearby amenities and attractions include a country store (ice cream, liquor, homemade pizza, basic grocery, a ship-building museum [Age of Sail Museum], a dinosaur and geological museum [Fundy Geological Museum] and a theatre for plays and performances [Ship's Company Theater] in nearby Parrsboro. Cape Chignecto Provincial Park, and activities such as kayaking, paragliding, boating, hiking, horseback-riding, fossil-collecting, etc. also abound..
Port Greville is a coastal hamlet of houses on the Bay of Fundy in Cumberland County, Nova Scotia. It finds itself set amidst a remarkable glacially-formed geography, positioned between the Atlantic Ocean and the ancient Cobequid Mountains. Port Greville has a store, a firehall, an Age of Sail Museum and an ever-unfurling beach..
  • It was sooooo quiet and relaxing. We live in halifax and it's too noisy and we both realized we miss living in the country. All is there for you to enjoy a comfy weekend. Just relax and enjoy!!!

    Matthew2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • I really enjoyed my stay at Colleen and Dave’s place! Highly recommend it!

    Julie2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment sits on the second floor of an old farmhouse perched on a hill above Port Greville bay. The view is stunning. The location is tranquil, slow and quiet. Everyone in the tiny town is so friendly. The apartment is delightfully rustic with a full kitchen, excellent amenities and eclectic furnishings. It is very close to Parrsboro with a fascinating Bay of Fundy museum as well as Cape Chignecto with miles of hiking trails. Colleen and Dave made us feel very welcomed and gave us lots of helpful information. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

    William2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a wonderful time staying at Colleen and Dave's place. The extra touches like the record player, guitar, and board games were a great way to pass the time on a rainy evening. We loved the large tub and the view was outstanding. Hopefully we'll be back one day! Thanks again!

    Megan2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • This accommodation had one of the best views that I have had anywhere that I have stayed. We wished that we could have stayed longer to enjoy the rooftop cottage and the surrounding area. We appreciated the two beds and having a living room that was separate from the bedroom. The high ceilings and claw foot tub gave the space lots of character. We enjoyed watching Netflix in the evening. This is the first AirBnB listing that I have read that included an acoustic guitar and a telescope for the guests to enjoy. It is very well suited for staying for several days. We did not use the kitchen, but it seemed to be well equipped. I did use the microwave oven. Thank you to Colleen and Dave for an enjoyable experience.

All the pots, pans, and dishes needed for a rustic meal. The site offers a fire pit and access to the beach.

  • Truly a magical spot and well worth the stop. It’s been a long time since I’ve slept in such a peaceful, quiet place. If you care more about extra special locations and value peace and quiet over glamour, don’t miss this place.

    Sara2019-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Fell asleep to the sound of Bay of Fundy waves. Amazing little rustic gem.

    Steffen2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • So private! A perfect place to get off the grid and have a campfire, watch the bay of Fundy tides, and watch the stars. A really special and memorable experience.

    Hailey2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • You will be hard pressed to get any closer to the Bay of Fundy and find a more incredible place to watch the sunset. We very much enjoyed our stay at Split View Cabin and would recommend to any one looking for a peaceful getaway to recharge.

    Erin And Morris2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • You are missing out on a slice of heaven if you don’t stay here! Absolutely beautiful rustic cabin with views for days and sunsets more beautiful than you could imagine. I woke up in the middle of the night to tell my boyfriend how comfy the bed was too. We had a beautiful fire over looking the ocean. An absolutely gem and highly recommend!!!!! Thanks Peter!

    Lauren2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • The sound of crashing waves, a view of Cape Split and an eagle souring past while drinking our coffee on the deck. Amazing place to visit.

    Erin2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely, romantic off-the-grid cabin, would highly recommend. The cabin smelt like fresh wood, and the indoor fireplace warmed the place up almost instantaneously. View from the porch is completely unobstructed and on high ground, excellent for watching the tides and sun. Cabin is spacious, well thought out, minimalistic living as you can have it while still feeling incredibly warm and welcoming. The quiet was perfect. We could see ourselves living in a little place like this if we had the chance (add a hot shower every now and then, haha). Endless thanks.

    Nicole2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • I won’t soon forget my time spent in this perfect little cottage. I was in awe of the beauty and tranquility of the space for the duration of my stay. The property is incredible - you truly feel off the grid with space to start a fire, watch the ocean and make yourself at home. While you’re very isolated, I never felt unsafe. There have been so many thoughtful touches incorporated into the cottage - motion sensor lights outside, parking space, ample firewood/kindling, binoculars, hiking guide, stove. I didn’t want for anything during my stay. This location is spectacular and my only wish is that I could have stayed longer, and that I’ll one day be fortunate enough to return.

  • This cabin has been cared about long enough to have the patina of home. Ann responds to any communication promptly and all is as expected per the descriptions

  • The cottage is great, better than expected. It is a great spot for exploring The Bay of Fundy or just relaxing. The view is lovely and you get to really witness the tide changes! Check in and out was easy - no issues at all. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!

    Hayley2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is in a fantastic location. It is a couple of minutes from Main Street Parrsboro. It has a wooded driveway and a fabulous view-can watch the tides, birds, fishermen and see sunsets/ moonrise’s. Liked having a full kitchen. It has a separate bedroom. It was great for the three of us as it is not overly big. Loved having my morning coffee on the porch looking out at the ocean. It is fairly private and the hosts -who live next door-were very pleasant and we enjoyed meeting them. Looking to staying there again in the future.

    Sue2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Me and my family had a wonderful time at Ann’s cottage, the view is stunning, the cottage is confortable and clean. The communication with Ann was easy, she is a great host!

  • A bright and spacious cottage five min from town of Parrsboro. I came for the art festival and a quiet get away which is just what this place offers. Comfortable bed and relaxed feel to the place which is how a cottage should be. I'm done with those sterile hotel rooms. Everything you need here. Great response from the host. Hope it's available next year.

    Annie2019-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Ann’s cottage is spectacular! The view is even better than the pictures show. The cottage was adorable and had everything we needed for a great weekend!

  • Stones Throw is a quaint, quiet, and relaxing getaway. The views are spectacular as is the host. Much roomier than the pictures indicate it kept my 6 of us plus a dog for 4 days. It is a vacation place my kids speak about year round. Thanks again Ann.

Relax in the hot tub after a day of either hiking out to Cape Split, or biking the Annapolis Valley, or visiting the wineries!
Restored original settlement cottage of Halls Harbour. Hand hewn beams and wide pine floors. Decorated to reflect the seaside location.
The guest cottage is located in the centre of a typical Nova Scotia fishing village.
  • What a beautiful place to stay! Ocean views, hot tub on the deck and cosy wood stove.

  • The loveliest spot. Even nicer than the photos suggest! So many thoughtful extras. So romantic and cozy in the most beautiful setting.

    Grace2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing place. You surely won't be disappointed staying here. This cozy cabin checks off all boxes. It was especially amazing in autumn when the air is crisp and the leaves are colourful. The hot tub was the perfect way to end your day, with your loved one, while listening to the crashing waves, sipping wine and watching the sunset. There's also something very special about being inside, all nice and cozy and falling asleep beside a crackling fire. If it wasn't for a little thing called a job (Oh.. and children) I could live here. Thank you Heather!

    Mark2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Heather was beyond accommodating. The cottage itself is so charming with the wood stove and hot tub by the water. Though we didn't use all the amenities, there seemed to be everything available. We hope to come back in the future!

    Maria2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second time staying here, first time I was solo on a motorcycle trip. I knew my wife would love it even more than I did so booked a fall weekend here.. the wood stove and hot tub were amazing. Wolfville in the fall is great, farmers market, craft beer wine and lots of great food! We will be back!

    Jonathan2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Another exceptional stay in Halls Harbour! The hot tub and beautiful deck were a major plus and made our stay extra special. Heather's special attention to extra touches such as a artistic stylish authentic décor was amazing! Great travel resources! Super equipped modern kitchen, perfect for enjoying a couple home cooked meals with local ingredients. Outstanding location, so close to everything, yet so private. Thanks Heather, for making this visit so special. Halls Harbour remains one of our favorite spots in Nova Scotia. Absolutely stunning view and amazing cottage! Joan and Ed Oct. 2019

Quiet, private, and tranquil is this year-round cottage located on the Minas Basin in Kingsport. The cottage has a large verandah that fronts the ‘bluff’ and below is a lovely walkable beach exposed when the tide is out.
  • Second visit to Bonnie’s cottage and just as excellent as the first time. Perfect spot for a cozy weekend getaway.

    Isaac2020-03-08T00:00:00Z

  • We had a wonderful stay at the Blomidon Rose. It is the perfect winter retreat if you are looking for a cozy place to read by a fire, or take in the beautiful views. Bonnie was a pleasure to communicate with, and was always quick to respond. There are lots of lovely touches in the home, including the 2 person tub! The kitchen was well equipped with all the pots/pans to cook meals. We had a great stay and would love to come back.

    Hannah2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here in the middle of winter as a quick post-Christmas getaway and it was absolutely perfect. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook all your meals, the view is spectacular, and the wood stove makes a cold winter’s night terribly comfortable. A lovely assortment of loose leaf teas and Amazon Prime were just icing on the cake!

  • The cottage has a cozy atmosphere in a quiet part of Kinsport. It's situated in a great place to enjoy the Bay of Fundy and the area around Wolfville. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

  • We just returned home from an amazing few days at Chelsi’s cottage in Parrsboro! We loved everything about this place and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a local escape, or wanting to experience this beautiful area of NS! Furniture was super comfy, kitchen well stocked with all pots, pans and dishes you could possibly need ~ adorable bathroom renovation AND massive deck to sit back, sip a beer and take in the beautiful vista! We stayed during a tropical storm and couldn’t take advantage of the outdoors one day, so the Netflix and wifi option was a great way for us to enjoy this cozy cottage! We will be back! Thank you, Chelsi!

    Vanessa2019-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • This was hands down the most beautiful place we have stayed. Like so many others said, my only regret was not staying longer. The view is like something out of a fantasy novel honestly, mind-blowing. And the place is cozy with all the perfect touches. We also loved touring the area and Chelsi did a great job with providing tips on local places to visit. Parrsboro is charming village as well. All in all, 10/10 and we will definitely be returning!

    Ryan2019-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful cottage on top of a hill that overlooks the Bay of Fundy. It has a nice modern touch with updated washroom and has great views of the lake from the deck. Pictures don't do it justice. • The best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. Should be your #1 choice whenever visiting Wolfeville or Port Williams. Amazing people and an amazing place.

    Joe2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The nook is the perfect location for a cozy birthday getaway! I had never been to Port Williams before, but was pleasantly surprised with the restaurants and breweries within a minute walk of this location. Peg and Ed were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful and even left us a delicious little birthday treat! If you have the chance to stay here I would highly recommend you take it!

    Amy2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Peg & Ed go above and beyond. The location is fantastic and the small touches did not go unnoticed!

    Mallorie2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Had an amazing time at the Peg & Ed's Place "the Nook". The place was spotless and every little detail was perfect. The attention to detail and the care they take with the property really shows. The is a perfect location for a romantic gateway or a family vacation and is just outside of the city in a beautiful little town. The price is great and Peg goes above and beyond. Freshly baked cookies when you arrive, fridge stocked with breakfast, Nova Scotia Honey and delicious coffee from a local vendor, etc.. The only issue is that we couldn't stay longer. This was my first time using AIRBNB and Peg made this experience so easy, gave us information on attractions in the community and on the property history. It was an overall amazing experience and we would love to come back but for more than one night. Thanks so much!

We would go out during the days, exploring the area and enjoying a nice dinner at a local restaurant. We would come back and enjoy some time in a nice hot tub out back. Darlene gave us her contact info and said she would be available if we needed anything. We never had to contact her as everything was great. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet place to relax after a day of exploring. Thanks Darlene.

  • Best air b and b spot I have ever stayed in! Spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful hosts, tons of extra touches, and a quick drive to Wolfville along pretty rural roads. Very safe and comfortable for a single woman travelling on her own but also a sweet Zen spot for a couple looking for a quiet break. I will definitely be booking here again!

    Susan2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Dawn’s Place was so cute! Very clean and stylish. Has everything you need, there was shampoo in the shower, coffee in the cupboard, cooking utensils, cards and cribbage. The bed was very comfortable. Location was good, not too far from Wolfville or Port Williams. There’s a grocery store and liquor store nearby. We didn’t have many interactions but she seemed very and made herself available if we needed her. 10/10 would recommend and definitely would stay again.

Large updated century home on the world-famous Bay of Fundy with ocean access and stunning ocean views that include the best sunrises and sunsets in the province. Located just 1.5 hours drive to PEI, Moncton, NB or Truro, it features 3 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with a large kitchen. Wifi and cell service is available, and an old-fashioned general/liquor store is practically next door. Museums, live theatre, Joggins Fossil Cliffs, provincial parks, hiking, beach walks and more in the area.
Peaceful and serene, this property has a large back field that takes you to the ocean, accessible by car or on foot. This large home features wood accents and lots of windows, with 3 bedrooms and a bathroom on the second floor and a living room, dining room, office/den, another bathroom and a large kitchen with island on the main floor, along with laundry facilities.
We are close to Parrsboro, Joggins, Advocate, and the Age of Sail Museum
  • Janet's place is ideal for a quiet family break. There was enough room for a large family and it was dog friendly. A short walk to the water - not really a beach vacation spot - but when the weather is good it is the perfect place for relaxation and family time. Parrsboro is close enough for major grocery shopping if needed, a convenience store 30 metres away for emergencies.

    David2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home with everything one could ask for. Lovely location to explore the Bay of Fundy region.

    Karen2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • This is an incredible home in a beautiful place. It is spacious and comfortable, with a great kitchen and an amazing yard overlooking the bay. Could not be a better value for the scenery and quiet escape! We loved the beach and surrounding area for hiking, mountain biking, and exploring with our dogs.

    Ainsley2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • After weathering Dorian - a storm that left much of the Province in damage control and without power we discovered the most amazing friendly, helpful, resilient people in Nova Scotia. Janet and Bruce were such wonderful hosts, they made sure everything was taken care of - we had power and water immediately restored and kept in touch to see if there was anything else they could do to help. They house is a lovely century home that overlooks the Bay of Fundy, cape split is directly across from the backyard - it's mesmerizing. There are beaches close by, hiking trails and tours offered a short drive. If for some reason the wifi is out there is a large selection of movies/ DVDs to watch and radio to listen to news Grocery store in Parrsboro has everything you need; excellent selection of products. I travelled with 2 large dogs, they had a huge yard to run and nice neighbors on both sides of the house. I would happily and without reservation recommend Sea-renity vacation to everyone looking to experience the highest tides in the world.

    Dana2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at Janet's house. It is a lovely home with all the commodities that a family needs. The area is incredible and people really nice. You can find a grocery next to the house with everything you need. The beach next to the house is also a to do, the tides were amazing.

    Sophie2019-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Great view of the Bay of Fundy. Great hosts.

    Daniel2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • This was such a lovely place to stay with our kids (ages 3-10). There were lots of little pluses that were great for families like access to tupperware, extra blankets, towels, condiments in the fridge, laundry soap etc. The property is beautiful. Rooms are large and welcoming and each one has a great view. The yard was great for running around and enjoying evening camp fires. The view of the stars and milky way away from city lights was amazing! The walk down to the beach was very do-able and we enjoyed checkingnout the oceanfront daily. Swimming could be feasible in the channel at high tide but the water is very cold and we enjoyed walking and exploring in the tide pools at low tide just as much. We visited Cape d'Or and Parrsboro one day, Truro (Victoria Park) and Tatamagouche for a swim the next, then Joggins Cliffs the third. All were under 90 minute drives and we were glad to be able to explore NS and still have time to relax in the late afternoon and evening. Janet was a great host who responded quickly to messages and was eager to help. There are books and many pamphlets of area attractions laid out for visitors which was also nice. The Sea-renity cottage was a perfect get away for our 2 families (4 adults + 4 kids) and I would definitely recommend it to others looking for a relaxed and flexible vacation property.

    Katrina2019-08-07T00:00:00Z

  • This property is worth every penny and each km to get there! The distance from the beach is ideal to promote getting out for some exercise. We arrived in the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian, so we were without power for a couple of days. Kenneth was very quick to respond to any questions. We had a great time there, in spite of the inconvenience of the power outage. We would sure go back again.

  • We loved it so much we will definitely be back. The people in the area are so friendly. And Kens place is a Gem. Beautiful.

  • This place is an amazing place to disconnect and spend some really relaxing time! It was sparkling clean, and in a great location! The view from the upstairs window, especially at sunrise was incredible! We saw lots of marine life and got to look for fossils, explore the tide pools and bird watch at the beach! We even walked all the way out to the water at low tide! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone I met, it was a great experience and if we are in the area again, we will definitely stay! Thank you so much Ken!

  • Such a lovely and homey cottage- perfect for a couples getaway. Such a quiet area, great for getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Would certainly recommend this spot as it was idyllic.

  • Kenneth’s place is superb for a relaxing time or for an adventurous experience in and around the extraordinary Bay of Fundy. It was super comfortable; we had everything we needed for cooking gourmet meals and the scenery and geography in the area was spectacular. I highly recommend this special spot.

  • Sabine is a wonderful host who pays attention to detail. The home is spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. If you are planning a longer stay or travelling with children, the convenience of the washer and dryer is a nice touch. The location is peaceful and breathtaking. It’s a well maintained 2 bedroom apartment on Main Street in the west end of town. The apartment has a private driveway and direct, main level access just off the driveway. There is a small side yard and a small covered porch. It’s a quiet building with two other apartments located upstairs. The unit has a large living room and kitchen as well as a full bath. The bedroom itself is quite large. The apartment has wifi. There is a young professional male and his dog who occupy the second bedroom.
An easy 10 minute walk to the Acadia campus and a 15 minute walk to downtown Wolfville. Walking trails nearby as well as many other amenities including shopping and dining.

A quiet and secluded home on the Bay of Fundy minutes from Cape Split, featuring incredible sunsets, a wood stove, and direct access via stairs to a unique beach with the world's highest tides. Perfect for families and nature lovers seeking an escape and rest.
  • At the last minute we had to cancel our third trip to Tim's place due to a bad storm at home. Tim was easy to deal with and super about our refund.

    Dan2019-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • This location was exactly as pictured! The view of the Bay was amazing and we loved being able to walk down to the water! The house was clean and had a big kitchen for cooking, which was really nice for our group of six people. Tim was also very quick with responses or letting us know anything necessary.

    Courtney2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • We have just returned home after a two night stay at this lovely spot. It is a private wonderful space with a fully equipped kitchen, two full baths, and easily will sleep 6. It looks out over the Minas Basin and we spent hours watching the tide going in and out. There is no wifi and very limited cell service. One of us enjoyed that more than the other. I highly recommend this spot.

    Joan2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Tims place was exactly how he advertized it. Cape Split is minutes away, as well as Blomidon. Great hiking trails. We called the main level bed and bathroom the west wing. Great for another couple or tennager to have their own space!

  • This home has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The little touches that were thoughtfully added make the rental feel like a home away from home. The two smaller bedrooms are on one side of the home, and the larger bedroom is on the opposite side which was perfect for our family stay. We had our toddler with for a short stay. There were books, toys, and a high chair. Lots of stuff to keep him occupied. There were plenty of fresh towels and face cloths, also throw blankets available to curl up with to watch tv. We would stay here again when in the area next :)

  • We really enjoyed staying at Shannon’s mini home. It was very quiet and an easy trip in to Wolfville, New Minas. Kentville , Coldbrook and surrounding areas. Shannon’s home is very close to Blomidon Provincial Park, The Look Off and Cape Split. We enjoyed the food at The Port Pub in Port Williams and Paddy’s Pub in Wolfville. We did a short winter stay which was great but a summer visit would be even better.

    Amy2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • The house conforms to the description and photos. Each room is very well equipped for its use. Even when it's hot during the day, just open the windows so that the fresh air comes in the evening. This is a very quiet street. Perfect for a family. The observation of the tides is very pleasant! Totally peaceful!

    Annik2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Liz’s holiday cottage is delightful. The view from the patio cannot be beaten. Liz was an outstanding host and went out of her way to accommodate us and our friends. The house was rustic but clean with everything we needed. We had a wonderful few days but it may be worth noting that the internal windows between the bedrooms and the living areas mean the house is quite open plan in terms of light and noise. We felt this minor issue was outweighed by the beautiful situation and outstanding hospitality.

    Jo2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fantastic place to stay, great views, access to the beach and really well equipped and clean. It is a really interesting area to explore - we particularly liked Wolfville and the quite recently opened Church Brewing Company. The Naked Crepe was really good as well.

  • What an amazing cottage!! If you are looking for an Oceanside property or simply a comfortable, very clean location for Nova Scotia day trips - LOOK NO FURTHER!! I stayed here with my Mum and my 8 year old son and we LOVED it! The location was amazing - the surrounding Annapolis Valley is breathtaking and this would a prime location for visiting the famous local wineries and farm markets. The hosts made it extra special and supplies some games and even a Teddy Bear (that my son slept with every night), that were very useful on rainy days. Our only regret is that we didn't book this cottage in the summer (warmer weather), when we could have enjoyed meals outside overlooking the GORGEOUS VIEW! We were very sad to leave such a great, private location however considered ourselves blessed to have chosen such a special place for our stay :)

  • It took me some time to find what I was looking for as most AirB&B's are apartments in cities. We wanted something quiet, cozy, and had an authentic cottage vibe. It was exactly what I was looking for as a small get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, It felt very inviting. What we appreciated is they thought of everything! All the small details made us feel like home. It is just a small walk to the water! Which was a surprise to go watch the sun set within a walking distance. Thank you again Colleen and Dave for being so fantastic and easy to talk too! We can't wait to stay again!

    Sebastian2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Impeccable!! Dave and Colleen welcomed us with open arms, a very clean cottage, and responses within minutes!! Everything is just as they said it would be. The babbling brook can be heard from in the living room with the window cracked a bit and puts you right to sleep. So happy we got to see the true beauty of this property in the winter so we can appreciate it even more this summer!! Port Greville is a hidden gem within our province that deserves to be explored!

Sherry keeps it impeccably clean and seems to have thought of all the extras to make your stay a memorable one. We highly recommend this apartment. For us, it was like a home away from home.

    Laurie2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • Sherry is a most accommodating, warm and thoughtful host. She made my first visit to Canada and the Wolfville area in particular, a very positive experience. On arrival at the venue, she was in place to greet me and provided me with great information about the local area. I arrived on my birthday and that night when I went to bed, there was a birthday greeting card under my pillow! That was such a special touch, being so far away from home. She thought of everything that might help to make the visit more comfortable and communicated in a very timely manner. Sherry was concerned about and checked on any needs I might have, but was not at all overbearing. Knowing that it was my first visit to the area and first experience driving in snow, she offered very useful advice. I highly recommend staying at Sherry's place. In addition to her hospitality, the venue has a warm feeling of home!

  • The Sunrise Cottage was perfect for us and our dog! It’s very homey and they have thought of everything that you could possibly need! It’s a great location for visiting the area or just relaxing watching the tides come and go with the amazing view!

350 meters from downtown, on a quiet leafy street, this 400 sq foot space has 2 beds and one bath. It suits those stepping out to the amazing restaurants, pubs and area wineries. (It does not suit folks wishing to prepare large meals, as there is no kitchen although there is a microwave, fridge & kettle for snacks & hot drink prep.) Ground floor with private entrance & free parking. It suits 1 - 3 guests of the same group. Your host is very friendly & experienced & there is a doodle on site!
    This is a ground floor self-contained space (NOT a basement and NOT shared) has a keyless entry into a front hall. The hall leads to two bedrooms and bathroom. The bedrooms contain a queen bed in the master bedroom and double bed in the second bedroom. (There is no sharing of space with guests who are not a part of your own party. That is: renting this space means that you get the whole space to yourself.) Your space is separate and private from the rest of the family home but the bathroom and smaller room shares interior walls and so it is necessary to be quiet after 11 PM until 7 AM in those rooms. The space is approximately 400 square feet. In the photo section, there is a hand drawn floor plan. Downtown is just a few minutes walk, the closest pub being 4 minutes walk: Church Brewing Company. Please note: there is free wifi but no television in the rooms - so please bring your own tablet, or whatever, for viewing while you stay. It is completely possible to stay with us and do day trips to the South Shore including to Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg and Halifax. All of these places are just 1 to1.5 hours driving distance one-way from us. Wolfville is situated in a central location from many of the sites of Nova Scotia, (not including though, Cape Breton, which is a 4-hour drive to its beginning). The long summer days (not in winter, mind) make these trips possible in full daylight, if starting out early-ish. Because we are lovers of the natural world and our beautiful Nova Scotia, we recycle and compost waste as well as use a clothes-line for drying our linens and towels in the fresh air and sunshine, three seasons of the year, weather permitting. We provide fresh free glass-bottled water. (There is no need to bring bottled water to your suite.) Summertime guests will notice our herb garden out front as well as our meadows and grassy walkway around the outside of the space, leading to a picnic table and clothes-line. Our meadow and garden attracts a multitude of pollinators and even provides simple veggies, seeds, edible flowers and berries for all to enjoy. We also have birds nesting in our tall trees and birdhouses. To relieve the use of plastic, we provide glasses, ceramic dishes and china mugs as well as real cutlery and a cutting board. (These are for simple snack prep as, there is no kitchen in your suite.) There is a small coffee/tea service in your suite. We provide beach towels for you to use when going to our area swimming holes, fresh water lakes or tidal beaches. We also provide various toiletries, including shampoo, soap, toothpaste, cotton balls and mosquito repellent for your convenience. Ample towels and face cloths are found in your bathroom cubby shelves. Our cleaning supplies are mainly biodegradable and can be found under the bathroom sink and in the hall closet. Your parking space is in our paved driveway. There is also plenty of free street parking if there is a second vehicle. Walking distance from your suite: Magic Winery Bus Stop / Visitors' Info, 1 min thru Willow Park or 3 min on sidewalks; Harvest Moon Trail, 1 minute; Downtown Wolfville (shops, restaurants, services) begins in 4 minutes walk; Church Brewing Company, 4 minutes; Annapolis Cider Company, 6 minutes; Carl's Independent Grocer, 7 minutes; Cochrane's Pharmasave, 8 minutes; Acadia University Hall, 15 minutes; Acadia Athletics Complex (Pool, Gym, Arena, Turf), 17 minutes; Lightfoot & Wolfville Winery, 22 minutes; Reservoir Park, 23 minutes; Grand Pre Museum, 52 minutes (6 minute drive);
Our bungalow is located on a short street with just a handful of unique family homes. The yellow Randall House Museum is on the corner. Our road is nestled between two parks: Willow Park with lovely flower beds, tobogganing hill in winter and the Wolfville Tourist Bureau (and the pick-up point for the Magic Winery Bus). The other park is Rotary Park which has soccer fields, tennis courts and a recreation building. Across the street from the opening of our street is access to the Dykelands for walking, biking, birding and running (or cross-country skiing space in winter). The Millennium Trail crosses our street just outside the house. This trail leads up and around Reservoir Park (and swimming hole) with a spectacular view of Cape Blomidon from the top, about 2 kms walk from our house. The Harvest Moon trail along the rail bed is also located just at the bottom of our street. On this trail, it is possible to walk to our closest and newest winery: Lightfoot & Wolfville. We welcome any questions about the area and enjoy discussing ideas about what to do...
  • I took a spontaneous trip to Wolfville as a "Me Day" to get away from the city. Martha could not have been more of a gracious host. Kind, thoughtful, engaging, & gives her guests the space & quiet time needed. Great local tips to explore Wolfville & area. I'd definitely book again & I highly recommend for quiet, respectful travellers looking for a super conveniently located & very well designed space with everything you need to base your next adventure from! Thanks Martha!

  • Martha and John were fantastic hosts. The rooms were far larger than I was expecting from the pictures and very comfortable. Martha had lots of local tips and was quick to respond to any messages. John even helped us clear our windshields of ice when we checking out! I would definitely book here again if I’m in the area.

  • We stayed in Martha's cozy Appartment 2 great nights. Martha is an amazing host, super friendly and she gave us a lot of good tips what to do in Wolfville. The rooms are very clean and cozy, we loved to stay there and were sad to leave after two nights. We would absolutely recommend her accommodation in lovely Wolfville. Thanks for having us! :)

  • Martha's home is cozy, quiet, clean and comfortable. I appreciated the thoughtful touches such as the tea and coffee, fresh water and extra blankets. Everything was clean and organized. Martha is a credit to AirBnb and obviously takes her role as hostess very seriously. I enjoyed my stay here and I would stay again. I would encourage other guests to stay here too.

This Seaside guest cottage/barn (our second one!) is an ideal get away place for couples or singles. Wake up to the sound of the ocean waves. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets while relaxing in the hot tub overlooking the Bay of Fundy. Beachcomb for treasures. Prepare your own meals or enjoy a meal next door at the Lobster Restaurant. A great place to use as home base. Relax in the hot tub after a day of either hiking out to Cape Split, or biking the Annapolis Valley, or visiting the wineries!
Restored original barn in Halls Harbour. Hand hewn beams and wide plank floors. Decorated to reflect the costal location and era of the barn. We’ve had tremendous success with our first seaside guest cottage. This is our second one! We’ve renovated the barn while keeping the character intact.
The guest cottage is located in the centre of a typical Nova Scotia fishing village.

Modern living in a historic town. Vineyards, orchards, bald eagles, wine tours, brew pub tours, art galleries, festivals, farmer's markets, galleries, the world's highest tides, a UNESCO World Heritage site, hiking, cycling and much more are easily accessible by foot, bicycle or car from our home. Located on a quiet street 15 minutes walk from the heart of town, our newly renovated home provides luxurious comfort for two couples. A third queen bed is available in our den/TV room upon request.
Our 60 year old home is newly renovated throughout and features many modern amenities. Cooking your meals will be a delight in our new, open-concept kitchen/dining/lounging area. Enjoy a BBQ or cocktails in serene privacy on the garden deck accessed through French doors at the end of this space. Spoil yourself with a soak in our freestanding bathtub in the master ensuite. Have a morning coffee on the deck off our master bedroom. Escape the heat of the hottest summer days with our central air conditioning. Make use of our exercise room (Concept 2 rower and elliptical) in our completely renovated basement which also features a super quiet bedroom and full bath.
We are located on one of the most quiet, older streets in the town. Our property has mature trees, perennial gardens, and plenty of privacy. We are in the heart of Wolfville, a small town with a cosmopolitan lifestyle - art galleries, several coffee shops, Acadia University, brew pubs and cideries, restaurants, boutiques and more. Grand Pre, a UNESCO World Heritage site and National Park is close by. Visit the park to learn of the 400 years of Acadian history and their expulsion to Louisiana (Cajuns). Take a tour of the many vineyards surrounding our community and sample wines that are winning international awards. We are surrounded by beautiful farmlands created by dykes that hold back the world's highest tides in the Bay of Funday and in the fertile Gaspereau and Annapolis Valleys. The Wolfville Farmers Market on Wednesday and Saturday and the many roadside farm markets offer the bounty of these farms year round.
  • This house is PHENOMENAL! Spacious, modern with at-home touches, this house was beyond our expectations. Colin is a wonderful host. The house is centrally located among numerous local hot spots. Easy drive to area parks and natural wonders. 10/10 would recommend Colin’s home!

  • A lovely rennovated home. A box of fresh strawberries awaited us and the coffee (with milk provided) was great. Clean and comfortable environment. If you have any trouble navigating stairs you will want to use the upstairs bedroom, as there are no handrails.

Our little house is located in the beautiful coastal forest of Baxter's Harbour, Nova Scotia. It is tucked in the woods, 1km away from the road and 1 km away from the majestic Bay of Fundy! The off the grid installation allows for lighting and laptop/cellphone usage.
The house is small and cozy, organized in one open space and a small loft. There is a porch on the back where we pile wood in the winter and use as a summer kitchen when the large cookstove gets to be too hot for the house! There is no running water, therefore no conventional bathroom in the house. We use water fetched from a spring to wash dishes and sponge bathe ourselves. The compost toilet is located outside, less than 15m from the house. It is nice to know that even though there is only one double-size bed, there is plenty of room to accomodate 4 more people if they are willing to bring their own camping bedding! We are absolutly confortable with that arrangment if it is what you wish, and there won't be extra charge. Obviously, by principle I need to mention that we expect from everyone to respect the land and the house just the same.
As in many small Nova Scotian communities, the people who live here give tremendous value to the bound between neighbors. You will feel the warmth and welcoming when meeting people on the road or at the beach. Expect many waves of the hand from drivers passing by, maybe stopping on the road for a short chat!
  • We had an incredible time at this little cabin in the woods! Andree-Ann and Shane are great hosts, and we'd certainly recommend this place to anyone that's looking to unplug for a bit in nature.

  • My boyfriend and I decided to spend Valentine's Day weekend in the Little House. We loved having to learn how to operate and maintain the woodburning stove throughout our stay. Andrée-Anne is such a kindhearted host and was easy to contact if we had any questions or issues during our stay.

    Cori Alexis2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful cabin in the woods, wood stove was very warm and cozy. Highly recommended! Just remember there’s no running water - the host was awesome as the cabin was well stocked with drinking water and washing water so we didn’t find this to be an issue at all.

    Rakesh2020-02-11T00:00:00Z

Welcome to a semi-private suite on lower level of our split-level home. Bright, clean and newly renovated with a wood stove and soaker tub. Perfectly located 15 minutes from Wolfville and just minutes from stunning Blomidon and Cape Split in the Annapolis Valley. There is a private entrance with access to a large back yard, fire pit and parking. Guests enjoy a bedroom (with a super comfy double bed), their own bathroom and living room with a kitchenette and access to laundry. We hope you enjoy!
We live on the edge of the quaint little village of Canning with close proximity to Kingsport beach, Blomidon and Cape Split. Two cute little coffee shops (one is an art gallery) in town and weekly Canning Kitchen Parties at a variety of venues in the summer. There's an excellent butcher and a good little grocery store often featuring organic specials.
  • My brother and I had a wonderful one night stay at James’s Place. You can expect a very quaint and cozy experience here in a location that is central to all of the best in the area. It was also sparkling clean. I highly recommend!

    Noctem2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • We only stayed briefly for a night but the place was excellent, clean and close to both Wolfville and Kentville. James was very hospitable and easy to communicate with. We would stay again in the future!

  • James and Bo,s apartment is just as the pictures show, It was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The living area is quite large and access to the wood heater is a bonus. James and Bo were very welcoming and we would gladly use the apartment if we return to the area

  • This is a great space, very clean and amazing value for money. Perfect place to explore the area.

    Brian2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • The space was great and James is lovely. There wasn't as much separation or soundproofing between the upstairs and downstairs as we were expecting. The kitchenette included a hot plate (we couldn't find any pots or pans though), toaster oven, mini fridge, kettle (we couldn't find a coffee maker), a couple bowls and spoons/forks. All of which were wonderful.

    Kira2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
