Queen bed set a little higher than most. We have two young dogs. They have no access to your space. Our 2 friendly and exuberant dogs are excited to see our guests. They may bark a bit at strange noises or wild animals. If you allow, they will lick you too. If you want to know, ask us why we call it the Narnia room.

The guestroom room is very cozy with radiant heat in the floor during the winter. The separate entrance is off a covered porch. The porch has chairs and a table and is very pleasant in the warmer months The little kitchen alcove is convenient for coffee or tea or a light meal. We live in a historic building and our neighborhood is located very close to Rte 100. Waterbury village and Stowe as well as skiing, hiking and biking are all nearby.

Long Trail Suite at the Lodge

This is a very cozy self contained suite in a beautiful VT lodge right next to Smugglers' Notch Resort. Very Large private deck. Enjoy your time during our foliage season. Many things to do nearby. Minutes from hiking in "The Notch" and the Long Trail. 15-20 minutes to dining in Stowe. Please note that in the winter months the notch Road is closed and you will have to drive around the mountain to Stowe. It is about a 50 min drive.
