This was our second getaway at the container and it was just as good as the first time. Such an amazing little getaway and the area is perfect for some country walks.

An idyllic location with everything you could ask for. Callum went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed into this beautifully converted container. My girlfriend and I look forward to returning!

I would recommend this accommodation highly. We had a lovely 2 night stay. The container is thoughtfully laid out with everything you need. It’s in a beautiful setting hidden away! Just perfect in every way. Also a bonus we could bring the dog.

Booked this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend, to have a relaxed escape during the beginning of the year. We had an amazing time, the location and container itself was beautiful and every detail inside was carefully thought of. Seems small from the outside but inside it feels open and spacious. Callum was extremely helpful and answered any queries quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil escape in the countryside.

Although not a huge space, this accommodation was so comfortable and relaxing for our two day stay. Despite horrific rain and stormy weather, we had a wonderful time. The beds were so comfortable and the decor so modern and tasteful, really making the most of space. We thoroughly enjoyed waking up to see a beautiful deer on the field in front of us and can highly recommend the nearby Red Lion pub in Broadclyst too for great food and a warm welcome. This was in a beautiful, peaceful and rural setting close to the cool city of Exeter. A lovely half term break.

The container exceed our expectations, it is designed in such a way that you could easily live there with high spec mod cons and extras such as Wifi and a TV (which was great for us as it rained all weekend) The container was spotless, it was hard to believe there had been other guests before us. Location was stunning with views over the hills and super quiet, we didn’t see a soul all weekend other than a couple of pheasants. Check in was easy and whilst we didn’t see the host the comms was good and they were available if needed. We would highly recommended and will absolutely return.

Callum’s place was great. Really enjoyed the views over countryside from secluded container. The container was thoughtfully decorated and you felt like at home. We enjoyed having the log burner on at evenings. We would recommend this place to anyone!

A perfect little bolt-hole, super handy for the M5 and within reach of central Exeter. The log burner is an amazing touch, and there's a cute little bathroom and underfloor heating too. Finished to a lovely standard, and you can just pull the curtains, drink wine, and hide from the world. Thanks!

Little silver barn is a lovely and quiet self contained cottage. It has been thoughtfully modernised with a cosy bedroom and bathroom upstairs, and kitchen/ living room downstairs. The bed is extremely comfortable and the linens and towels were very good quality. The kitchen has everything you need for basic meals, and the breakfast items provided were much appreciated. We enjoyed a nice meal at the ‘Beer Engine’ which was about a 10 minute drive away. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

A wonderful stay at Little Silver Barn. A very welcoming host and a very clean and homely place to stay. I was very surprised to find the cupboards and fridge stocked to provide breakfasts, soup, and even shortbread biscuits in the tin! Lots of lovely touches like fresh flowers on the table. Highly recommended.

Katie's barn is the perfect spot to stay - it has everything you need (and more!) and perfectly located for lots of activities. It's just as good as it looks in the photos.

My girlfriend and i have just spent the weekend in Little Silver Barn, the barn is exactly as it is described! Cosy, warm with thoughtful touches throughout. It is immaculately clean, and very comfortable. We couldnt of asked for more for a stay for our weekend, especially the range of items provided for breakfast! Katie's communication is second to none too, with clear precise directions on how to get to the barn in the middle of beautiful Devon! We will recommend to anyone who wants to go to Devon. Really lovely twin bed room, close to Exeter city, comfy beds and welcoming hosts

Robins Airbnb is a bit of a walking distance from the university but it’s worth it knowing your on route to a lovely quaint home, robin is lovely to chat with and helpful when loosing you way. The house has a lot of space and is quiet, if you need to study. The cleanliness is great and breakfast is supplied every morning with just the right amount of selection needed. Honestly can’t fault this Airbnb Would definitely recommend staying here

Robin's place was perfect for the night I needed to stay, and close to the hospital where I needed to get to in the morning. Very comfortable and breakfast/essentials are provided. Walkable from the city but definitely easier to get a bus.

My partner and i needed to get away for a bit. This was a lovely place to reconnect. Andy and Lucy are super friendly and helpful. Boris the cat was on duty and very welcoming too along with the chickens who came to check us out. Absolutely loved it. We didn’t have a car but it is easy enough to get to via bus. If you like animals and outdoors this is the place, it was cosy and quiet. It will be brilliant in the summer but even when it rained we had fun! Thanks again :))

We had a wonderful weekend in Clover. There were cakes on arrival and Boris the cat joined us which we loved. Lucy and Andy were great hosts. They set the hot tub up for our arrival which was lovely. Clover was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for an amazing weekend! We arrived late Friday night with the hot tub fired up and ready to go with some shortbread, such a nice touch! The hot tub was so nice and relaxing, didn't take too long to heat up as it kept most of the heat from the night before, sat in for hours with some wine, the cat even came to keep up company. We went to The Agriculture Inn which used to be the lazy toad which is amazing, food was so good we went back the day after for more. Lucy was very quick to respond to any questions and made sure we had everything we needed, Andy also came out and helped when we had a problem with the gas. We will definitely be booking again in the near future

Such a wonderful stay! The area is so lovely to walk around with lots of little pubs and the wagon was such a lovely cosy place to come back to!

Clover the converted Woodstock is amazing! The space is cosy but has everything you need. The bed gave us two good nights sleep and the hot tub was a lovely way to unwind. Top tip, read the instructions for the hot tub, it needs stirring to get all the water at equal temperature! Andy and Lucy were great hosts, we had lovely shortbread on arrival and they were quick with any queries we had. They also generously gave us an early check in and a later check out which was fantastic. The orchard is a lovely place to wander around and the cabin has a resident cat who is a lovely companion if you choose to let her in! Would love to stay again.

Jenni, was a really lovely host! The pizzas were absolutely amazing, would definitely recommend a stay here! We also bought a beautiful piece of art from the room! Jenni was very quick to respond and extremely helpful! The bed was comfy, the special touches and treats were brilliant! The location is beautiful and scenic and everything was perfect for our stay. The room is cosy, with a nice clean bathroom right next door. It was easy to check in, and after that I was not disturbed and had a key to come and go as I pleased. Everything you would hope for, in other words!

Absolutely amazing place, only regret is not being able to stay here longer. As my mother accurately said, she was happy just to stay in the house and not go anywhere. 2 bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms, it was spacious and beautiful. The living area overlooks the beautiful countryside. We came during winter and the heater was excellent. Modern amenities and netflix on the flat screen TV. Truly enjoyed our stay. Cheers

Huxham view is an amazing place to stay, spotless everywhere you look. Lovely clean bedding, comfy beds, great cooking space - and lots more. Thank you for providing such a stylish and unique house for us to use, so that we have a good memory in Exeter. The design and supplies of this home are all visible, the bedding allows people to have a good sleep quality, and the kitchen bar can see the scenery outside the window. Need a car to go in and out. Everything is perfect! I love the view of outside the windows. I could stay in the house not go anywhere. We will definitely choose here again if come back Exeter. highly recommended!

A lovely, modern, clean self-contained flat. Access to all the amenities in the guest house if needed. Excellent location - easy walk into town and the Northcott Theatre.

On a quiet street close to the City centre, this find was great value for money and everything I needed for my two-night stay. I was able to leave luggage in the communal living room prior to check-in. This room is immediately accessible through an external door on the ground floor and through a lockable internal door, which leads through to a fully equipped kitchen and utilities. The studio was spotless. 15-20 min walk from Exeter St. Davids. Very easy self-check out.

The best thing about Melbury House was the attention to detail. I enjoy cooking and having been away for a while, was finding eating out, tedious. To be able to cook in a well stocked kitchen was lovely. To play my music andcook, was heaven. My room, was much better than I'd hoped: I had private entrance, the ensuite had a very decent shower, heated mirror and fixed hairdryer with plenty of storage. The room itself had lots of storage: perfect for unpacking and feeling at home, good lighting, stylish touches, a kitchenette incl a microwave and hard flooring. Security was great and Graham was very accommodating when I arrived bruised and batteredon on my bike... Eager to help bring the bike into the room and rest it on old towels he'd fetched for me. The communal areas (dining, kitchen and lounge) were so inviting. Felt very plush and were a real boon. To rest in the evening on clean, great sofas, or chat with other guests in the kitchen made all the difference from simply staying in a full hotel and confined to a room. I felt, at home.

Maggie and Steve are superb hosts! The location for the stay was perfect as it was so quiet and peaceful! Maggie and Steve was both exceptional as always as they made me feel so at home! Both have wonderful local knowledge and tips for Exeter surroundings. Additionally, the chocolates in the room was a gorgeous bonus! Thank you for letting me stay, Maggie and Steve!

Great cosy room and perfect location for the hospital where I was working. David was very welcoming and had a map of local shops and transport and left some breakfast food for me. Check-in and -out was very easy and he even gave me a lift to my bus stop when I left. Would recommend as a great value stay :)

Alison was such a wonderful host! The house was so clean and check in was easy. Continental breakfast was a wonderful touch. She really went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Would 100% recommend!

It's really a lovely room, feel like home. Both Alison and her husband Elliot are very nice. However, there is only one power socket in the room for the lamp, which is not so convenient to charge phone or laptop.

Both the room and toilet are Super clean and quiet! Breakfast is great! The host are really warm welcome and friendly!! One of the best bnb I have stayed. Lucky to have one night stay! Thx!

We didn't meet with Tim but having the keylock and excellent communication from Tim prior made check-in really easy. We used Tim's place as a base so didn't use any of the amenities however his home was really clean and tidy, the room itself is a great size and it offers superb value for money given its close proximity to the city centre. I would highly recommend staying at Tim's.

Tim's home is welcoming and has everything you need for medium / long term stays. It is not located in the city center, but is easily accessible by a bus that stops not far from the house. Highly recommended for cleaning and availability.

Robin is a very, very good landlord. The bedrooms are quiet, the beds are comfortable, and the space is large. The kitchen is very plentiful, the facilities are very complete, and there are even chopsticks and old pumps. Haha, the bathrooms are very clean. I recommend everyone to stay. Because I came to the UK for the first time, Robin went to the bus station to pick me up in the evening. In the process of accommodation, he responded to my questions in time and helped me. At the end, when I checked in the student dormitory, he also sent me to the school. Robin's home is well worth your stay! !! !!

An excellent place to stay 20 minutes walk into Exeter city centre. The apartment is roomy with good amenities. Our host Robin was very welcoming and provided a good breakfast, other extras and personal touches. The daily drama of the birds being fed in the garden was lovely to watch - thanks Dan!

Cannot recommend Robin and Dan's place enough. Robin was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and made check in effortless. Her personal touches really made the stay special, including cold beer in the fridge, organic eggs for the morning and even lending us a wetsuit to go surfing! Lovely, clean and stylish flat which was perfect for a few days in Exeter, filled with all the cereal, biscuits and coffee you could ever need. Fabulous place, made better by the fabulous hosts!

Great location. Even though we did not use it, it was good that the hosts allowed guests to cook in the marken kitchen as an option. We did, however, use the stylish sitting room for drinks before going out for dinner.

Stuart's place was what I expected from the description. Location was very good for my needs. If coming from the M5 and using a SatNav, don't go through Exeter but come off of the A30 - 5 mins from the junction. Room was clean, spacious and lovely and warm. Cereals, fruit, tea/coffee and granary toast, with Nicola's lovely homemade jam. Comfortable double bed and a nice walk-in shower. Thank you Stuart and Nicola for a nice one night stay. I would use this B&B again.

From arriving to leaving Stuart was an amazing host. Very hospitable and at every point making sure that my stay was comfortable. The room was very clean and comfortable. Location is good too, not too long of a walk from the centre of the town. Communication was easy too. I only stayed for one night, but I highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Stuart & Nicola were lovely, friendly and very helpful. The room was bright and clean with a really comfortable bed. I enjoyed the home made marmalade with breakfast! Their house is within easy reach of Exeter city centre and I'd be happy to stay with them again next time I visit.

Robin’s place is absolutely delightful, super clean and had everything I needed. Robin was a great host and helped me find options for dinner. I would definitely recommend staying here and it would be my first choice if I visited the area.

The facilities offered were fantastic for the price payed. Clean homely home. Superb bathroom. Welcoming hosts, baskets of bits you always forget (toiletries etc), biscuits, TV, super fresh sheets and even breakfast! Cant recommend enough. Very cool designed place. Decent WiFi. Smart tv with Netflix and Amazon video. Free Parking. Very comfortable bed (had a great night sleep) Great shower. Great place to stay.

Jayne's cabin is a lovely place to stay, you have you're own space & garden, the place was spotless & had a homely feeling, communication was great & you could come and go as you pleased, check in was easy & jaynes directions were on point and very helpful! 100% recommend! Thank you :)

This place has everything you could possibly need and we’re already making excuses why we need a re-visit. Jayne was brilliant at communicating and also offered local tips on where to eat. The venue is cosy but modern and we’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the area (would even recommend the little bit of a drive to stay further out from the centre). The added touch of milk for our arrival was much appreciated too. :) Hopefully we will visit again soon!

Always a pleasure staying at Jayne's cabin. We would recommend her place to anyone wanting a beautiful location and cozy cabin with excellent hospitality.

Outstanding private cabin with all the amenities anyone could ever want. Jayne and Steve were very generous hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful views over the fields. We even saw a vintage steam engine roll along the tracks through the farmer's fields. It is a delightful place which we highly recommend to anyone visiting Devon.

Tim was a good host, the room was clean, the kitchen well equipped, everything OK. The place is a quite far from the city centre, but a bus stop is just a few minutes down the road.

Tim had to leave before we arrived, but he was very flexible and cooperative in letting us in his house. The room was clean. And above all, it was a quiet neighbourhood not to far from the city center.

I was warmly welcomed and shown everything needed. All very easy and relaxed. The room was quite big, well heated and comfortable. Both shower (very nicely renovated!) and bathroom upstairs were very clean. The house is located in a quiet area and not far from the center. I highly appreciated the provided fruits, muesli and yogurt as well as the possibility of making tea/coffee. The small table and good lightning allowed working until late. I can really recommend staying with Patricia- thanks a lot!

I cannot recommend Ferdo's place enough! Ferdo is really friendly and made sure I got everything I needed, and Ferdo even offered a drive when I had to carry a lot of packages. The flat located in a quiet resident area is spotless clean and equipped with almost all utilities the guest would need. In the morning the guest's room will have a lot of sunshine if the weather is fine. And Ferdo can cook simply but very delicious meals!

This place is very good value for money with a spacious room and great view. Fernando is an excellent host, he was very flexible with check-in and check-out times and really helpful and friendly. The place is in walking distance to university and city center. Was great!!!

Comfy room, with a double bed and an excellent view. Walking distance from the centre and the university. Stayed for 10 days during a visit to the University and it was a great choice. Fernando is an excellent host. He helped me moving around the city and we cooked together some nights. I would definitely come back!

Fernando was a fantastic host making the airbnb experience in his place a great one. From the first day he helped me around the city and made me feel at home. I will definitely stay there again in case get back to Exeter.

I loved staying at Ferdo's. He is a great person, the bedroom is really good, the location worked really well for me, the kitchen had everything I needed, the bathroom was always super clean and works well too. I totally recommend the place! Also, one of the best bedrooms I stayed at Airbnb!

Ferdo was an outstanding host, he was very flexible with check-in and check-out times and really helpful and friendly. He even dropped me to the bus station when I was leaving! The room is quite large and comfy and has an amazing view of the city. It is 20 mins walk from the University and approximately the same time from the city centre (well, if you are going downhill, uphill I was lazy and just caught the bus which stops very close to the house). It was a great stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Sam is one of the best Airbnb hosts I ever met. Quick response, excellent communication, hassle free check in, flexibility, welcoming, super nice. His place is literally spotless, sparkling clean, bright, well equipped, cosy and very warm . I could not have wished for a better accommodation in Exeter!

A great cheap place to stay, with basic but full facilities. Really close to town and instructions and communications were clear and polite. Lovely to have our own place for the night.

This room was extremely cute and had all the amenities I needed. I was able to cook a meal with the kitchen stuff provided and didn’t need to buy a thing. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It’s very close to the city centre, so I didn’t have to pay a penny for transport. Sam was friendly and great at giving me ideas on what to do in Exeter. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back. 1 night was not enough! Thanks so much.

Efficient, convenient, and pleasant!

Spotlessly clean, simple, tasteful, discreet, Wendy and Kevin had thought of every little thing a Guest May need during their stay. Came as a guest and left as a friend! Warm, welcoming, homely with immaculate decor and furnishings. Can not recommend this place highly enough- only wish I could have stayed a few more days as I felt so at home there.

Wendy is a very experienced and hospitable host. Her house is beautiful and immaculately clean, the bedroom is large and comfortable, the bathroom is sparkling and she has thought of everything you might need! She and her husband are ready to help you with any questions you have and are very friendly and welcoming.

The location is quite close to the St' David train station, the room is quite clean, and there are occasional small flying insects at night.
