It is a great place to be. You have all you need close to the house. There is a bus that goes to schipol and the public transport is amazing. Astrid and Ed welcome you nicely and if you want for an extra fee, jessey or sydney can pick you up at airport. They are great guys.

We had 3 very nice days in Luc's house. The room and bathroom were clean and luxurious. We could reach the center of Leiden by bus in less than 10 minutes, so even without a car it was very easily accessible. Luc was very friendly and gave us tips about eating in Leiden, among other things. We definitely recommend this AirBnB :)

An exceptional accommodation with lots of chic details. Luc is a very friendly host and the property is well located. By bike you are quickly in Leiden and also in 50 minutes on the beach. The Hague and Amsterdam are also around the corner by car

Luc is a very welcoming host, available and was attentive to make us spend a pleasant stay. His house is ideally located for visiting a large part of the Netherlands. What a wonderful place! My boyfriend and I spent a night in the treehouse last week and really enjoyed this romantic retreat. Decorated very attractively and provided with everything. Wood to make a fire, coffee, extra blankets and even a jug was provided. The location is perfect, accessible by public transport, but far enough from the busy road. Marleen was very attentive and we also enjoyed the animals very much. The cat lay on our lap half the night. Absolute must and super good value for money.

I traveled to Leiden for professional reasons and enjoyed cycling everyday from/to Leiden university/Marleen’s Airbnb. I end up not sleeping at the hut but in the “nice, cozy appartment between Leiden and The Hague”. Marleen offered the comfortable appartment without asking for extra costs. This was due to the fact the temperature was quite low and it could be a problem for those sleeping in the hut. She was very kind and helpful. I would recommend others to stay there and take the time to enjoy the surroundings.

What a beautiful place to disappear from the daily hustle and bustle! Everything very well cared for and a beautifully decorated tree house. The candles and the campfire made it complete!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Miranda’s place. This home is well equipped with amenities and provides plenty of room for large groups/families. This home is quaint and cozy with modern touches and plenty of bedrooms, all with king size beds. The cozy warm gas fireplace was enjoyable on the cold December evenings. We highly recommend this home, and would love to come back and experience this wonderful destination in the summer months being so close to the beach.

Very sweet people with great hospitality. It was also no problem that our four-legged friend came along. The cottage is very nicely decorated and super clean. The stove was definitely the icing on the cake. We enjoyed and will definitely come back.

What a wonderful beautiful and luxurious place to stay ... and what an atmosphere. Even the dogs were allowed. Everything exudes an atmosphere of warmth, cosiness, convenience and comfort. Everything of excellent quality and taste. From the beds and bedding to the fully equipped kitchen with many luxury appliances and a wonderful bathroom with jacuzzi and a very pleasant stove. It feels like a real fireplace. Everything is there for good and bad weather. Also a wonderful enclosed garden with a lot of private space, because you stay at a campsite, but you don't notice it. As soon as you enter the garden and the chalet it is 100% coming home, such a homely atmosphere. It has a convenient location and you are at the nicest spots in no time. Kitty is a real superhost and a wonderful woman. A vacation to remember.

Super kitty is very accommodating she came to pick us up at the train. She explained us well. Offered a bottle of wine and a small painting. It was hot and the bed very comfortable!

We thank you for the great 2 nights and would always come back .. The accommodation is exactly as described, super equipped, very clean and the hosts very nice. The communication was quick and uncomplicated, they make a lot of effort. A few minutes by car there is a supermarket and generally it is very centrally located. Kitty’s place is cozy and comfortable. Kitty’s thoughtful personalization of her place is great as she wrote a personal greeting of my name on the blackboard. She and her husband met us in persons even when we arrived late. She helped to reserve a taxi on our way back to the airport. Neighborhood is safe and quiet. A little walk to nearest train station. Communication was quick and well. Thank you, Kitty and Tom!

A well cared for chalet

This is the first time to come to the Netherlands, and also the first time to choose a homestay! I am very happy that I can choose a kitty cabin! There are small trains and buses nearby, as well as McDonald's and supermarkets! Convenient to Leiden, The Hague, Amsterdam or more! This small house is clean and warm! Kitty is a very friendly host! A great experience!

Everything great, better than expected

This is a really comfortable place to stay and really good value for that area. Really near Leiden. Easy to get to Den Haag, A’dam and Utrecht. We were looked after by Jeanette who was really helpful. And having the bicycles was soooo excellent. We’ll be back!

This apartment was lovely. Our host replied to messages before our stay extremely fast. This was our first experience of an air BnB and it didnt disappoint. The apartment had plenty of space and we very modern inside. It was clean and tidy and even had a lovely bunch of tulips which was a lovely touch. The location is perfect to experience the rural and urban side of the Netherlands. Just a 30 min train into Amsterdam for us the location was perfect. Beautiful running routes around a late was an additional bonus. We will definitely be back in the summer to see all the flowers in the farmers field.

Ralph was a great host and communicator. He made the whole AirBnB process very easy and responded quickly over the AirBnB app when I had questions . The location is perfect for walking, a lot of nice stores and restaurants are within walking distance. The steps are quite steep so be careful when walking up and down, especially if you’re moving bags and luggage. As a whole, Ralph’s AirBnB was very accommodating and I would stay there again if I travel to Leiden in the future.

Clean and simple place, great for anyone staying in Leiden for short or long term. Shower door is see through but I just draped a towel over it for more privacy.

Cosy room. Welcoming and helpful host. Good location in quiet neighborhood with excellent connections to Den Haag, Amsterdam and Leiden. My only remark is about the lighting in the room, which was really terrible, but Nicolette promised it will be improved for future guests. Also, it was a bit cold in toilet and common spaces, but not a big pain.

Four rooms are available and everything is clean. I have lived there for 5 days and am very satisfied. I can recommend this stay to anyone.

The house is in a quiet, safe and beautiful neighbourhood and also not far from central Amsterdam, only a bit over 20 minutes by direct train. The house is beautiful, clean and feels like home and Nicolette is a lovely and helpful host, I have to thank her for waiting for me longer than expected because my bus was very late, thank you very much. Great place, near the beach and full kitchen!

Our stay with 6 people and 4 dogs was very nice. The apartment was clean and not worn out! The beds were comfortable and the sofa bed was bigger and more comfortable than expected.

The accommodation is well equipped with everything you need for everyday vacation life. There is an oven and a dishwasher, which makes everyday life very pleasant. Kitchen towels and other utensils are also available, so you can start your vacation right away and don't have to bring everything with you from home. There are enough towels in the bathroom. Everything is coherently furnished and clean, so that you can feel comfortable. There are radiators in the bathroom and living room. But not in the bedrooms. However, this was not a problem in February either, because the apartment is well insulated and if you leave the doors open for a while, you quickly get a pleasant warmth everywhere. The size of the apartment is sufficient and it is well cut. The balcony is particularly great, from which you have a beautiful view of the countryside. Overall, the apartment is perfectly located. In a few minutes you can drive anywhere and even walk to the beach.

The apartment is nicely and practically furnished. Everything is also present, both in the kitchen and the bathroom. The beds are excellent. During our stay in January the days were cold, but the apartment can be heated well. Access is via a key box. We found this very practical. The communication with Rosaline is excellent. Huis Kroonenberg is a must!

Els is a wonderful host and really made my first week of living in a new country a stress-free one! The room was clean and simple and had everything I needed. I particularly appreciated that she left out teabags and hot water for us every morning, and welcomed me in with a cup of tea and a chat when I first arrived! Location is good for Leiden or Noordwijk, the bus journey is fast or it take approx 1 hour for a scenic walk to either town. Shops nearby very convenient too! Great experience, thank you Els!

Els’s airbnb was super clean, and amenities all easy to use. Els is very sweet and accommodating. The location is close to a grocery store, restaurants, a gym and a train station. (All within 10-15 minutes walk). The location is nice and quiet.

Voorhout is a lovely, quiet area not too far from Keukenhof, The Hague, and Amsterdam. Train service is very good and the walk to train station not bad. I thoroughly enjoyed my 3-night stay there.

This is what airbnb means :-) In the middle of a residential area, and in house with a family with young children, lively atmosphere, friendly reception. I enjoyed sleeping a few nights here, working. Ursula welcomes you, the children are nice, polite, speak several languages. The room is very spacious and super clean. I worked on a desk every night. In the room was tea, soap, towels and fixed to the room the bathroom with bath. :-) When I am back in Leiden, I will definitely see if this nice family has a free room.

Nicolette is an extremely generous and patient host, that very kindly rescued me when the airport stopped allowing flights, resulting in a ridiculously late check in. The house is very clean and beautiful. The extra touches were most welcome.( Shared kitchen with coffee/tea., Sweets in the room etc...) The location is a pleasant 10 min walk to the train station. Clean, bright, friendly overnight stay in a quiet residential area with bus u. Rail connection within walking distance (15 minutes on foot). Large beautiful shared bathroom as well as shared toilet & bath. - kitchen. Nice conversations at breakfast in the living room with the very friendly hostess, who are also as local people valuable tips for things to do and places. I also have the peace, spaciousness u. Bright of the house promised. With Google Maps, it was easy for me to find.

Els is a very kind person and very understanding. I like the neighborhood, very quiet and clean place. Though the location is in not in the center but Netherlands transport system is amazingly comfortable so Amsterdam or The Hague from this location will not take you more than an hour to reach. Overall, staying at this apartment and the place in general is something that will stay long in my heart.

I think is the cleanest Airbnb that I know, everything was perfect! Els is really kind and provides you with everything you might need. The location is good, only 45 min by train to Amsterdam and 14 min by walk to get to the train station.

Els is an amazing host! She replied very quickly to my messages and when I had to arrive a day late because I missed my flight, she was very understanding! Els’ house is very lovely and Voorhout is such a cute area. It takes about an hour by train to get to Amsterdam and about 40 minutes by train to The Hague, which I didn’t mind, but be aware that her house is not centrally located. Also, if you plan on using the desk under the bed, be careful not to hit your head like I did a couple times because the bottom of the bed is very low. Overall, I had a great stay and definitely recommend Els’ place if you’re looking for a quieter area to stay while visiting the Netherlands!

What a beautiful place! Warmond is so friendly and relaxing. This place has great little touches like bikes, a mini fridge with drinks, and coffee. Just across the street from a beautiful park and biking distance from everything else.

Having booked the lodging, the owner gave precise instructions on arrival. There is no parking at the house itself, you need to take into account the fact that you will need to walk about 3-4 minutes to the house. Check-in was with a mini-safe. The house is beautiful and cozy, a large glazed heat terrace. The kitchen has all the cooking utensils and even a waffle iron. In the bath, there were also towels, shower ghoul and soap. After checking in, the hostess came to inquire whether everything suits us. I recommend these apartments.

We had a lovely stay at Miranda’s cozy chalet. More than enough space for 4 people and absolutely clean. :-) it comes with a huge wintergarten, an outdoor area. Communication has been perfect. Definitely recommend for a short stay to visit haarlem and zandvoort.

Miranda’s place was perfect peaceful base from which to visit the surrounding area, walking distance from Sassenheim station, short train rides from nearby Leiden, Delft and Amsterdam. It was also a short car journey to the beaches at Noordwijk. The chalet had everything we needed, even fans to cool us down in the heat wave! Miranda couldn’t have been more helpful with parking, offering us bikes and advice. We would love to come back and explore the area more thoroughly. Thanks!

Miranda's place was fantastic. The home was spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed. The outdoor space was also lovely and provided a perfect spot to relax at the end of the day and drink morning coffee. It was a little difficult to find at first, but Miranda sent plenty of photos of the directions to guide us, and directed us in person as well, which was appreciated!

Our stay at Wonu‘s sweet, little home was great. Leiden turned out to be a super cite and nice place to be. We made Daytrips to Amsterdam and Rotterdam with wich Wonu was always happy to help. I would recommend everybody to stay in her lovely home!

I stayed at Wonu‘s place for 5 weeks while studying at Leiden university. The house and room was lovely and the location also perfect, only about a 25 minute walk to university. I would recommend staying here!

Wonu is very friendly and communicative. I enjoyed being with her in the house. The room was perfect and the house was very cosy. It is very close to the city center. I had a great stay for two weeks and would recommend anyone to stay here.

We had very nice days in the house. Fantastic to wake up in the morning with the beautiful view. The storks are very close every day. Petra and Dirk are sympathetic people and we felt really welcome. The cottage was warm and cozy and very nicely decorated. We would like to use the house more often.

We found the studio perfect for a few days on the beachside in Noordwijk aan Zee. The Place is super stylish, very clean and only five minutes from the beach. The Host was friendly welcoming us with stroopwaffels and a bottle of wine in the fridge. Thanks for having us!

It was so nice with Mieke and her house. It's just really something special, if you are looking for luxury, you are out of place here. The interior is thoughtfully thought out and offers the perfect opportunity to switch off from everyday life. Also the location is unique, you are immediately on the beach but you can also enjoy the fresh country air on the terrace. Anyway, I can recommend it to anyone who is looking for something special.

The House was very nice to stay in. We were very close to the beach and to the Centre of nordwijk. Everything was Fine, the hosts were very nice to us and we hope to come back for our next stay, soon

It was everything as described. Mieke is a great hostess. We had our freedom in the accommodation and on the whole area. It's a great place to go down and see something different like hotels and luxury accommodations. It's just a converted barn. It was definitely cool, especially for our 8 year old daughter. She was just thrilled. Thank you for staying in this property.

Very quaint, cool little place. Simple inside but the shower was great and the living room was nice to relax in. Just note that the stairs to the beds are quite steep and maybe not suitable for older or less sure footed people. Mieke was lovely and willing to help with everything, even lending us some umbrellas when it was forecast to rain.

I can only recommend Marjas tinny house. The house is very good located clean confortable and have the necessary things to spend a nice vacation. The garden is very nice and Marja and her husband are really nice and attentive hosts who respect the guest' s privacy. Thanks for the welcome snacks and for your hospitality. A truly lovely spot. We appreciated Sassenheim’s small town qualities and pace, the ability to use the bicycles to explore, and being able to get quickly by train to Amsterdam and several other nearby cities. The cottage was clean, private and peaceful, and we felt so relaxed in our little home away from home. Would definitely return!

We spent two wonderful weeks in the cottage of Marja. It was as nice as expected - and a little bit better! Great accommodation with the best amenities, private garden, warm welcome and caring hosts. (For us) ideal location between the beaches of Noordwijk and the cities of Leiden, Haarlem, Amsterdam and The Hague - everything by bike to "experience" and the train station can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. Holland loved it once again and we'll be back for sure!

We had a wonderful holiday at Marja and Willem. It looks just as beautiful as the photos. Great was also the folder with all the important information about the area, maps, .... Everything was super clean, the beds extremely comfortable and we even had bicycles we were allowed to use. Not to mention the wonderfully quiet location and the magical garden. Was there any questions or requests we were helped. I would like to thank you again for the hospitality!

We loved our stay in Sassenheim. From airport to our front door was only 20 minutes including an easy 8 minute walk from the train station. The charming cottage is set in a lovely tranquil garden. It was immaculate throughout, well equipped and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed using the free bikes to explore beautiful Leiden on the well marked cycle routes. Marja and Willem were charming hosts who gave us some useful tips about local restaurants and things to see. I thoroughly recommend this excellent Airbnb

Sparkling clean, modern, private, quiet, comfortable & relaxing garden cottage, with outdoor dining furniture, in a very safe & clean small village with pretty homes, manicured flower gardens, a big park, nice shops, bakeries and a grocery store with plenty of fresh foods to easily prepare in the well-stocked and equipped kitchen. Marja is an excellent hostess. Upon arrival we found fresh flowers, and an assortment of delicious snacks, juice, beer and wine. Communication & check-in was very easy. She provided good info on things to do, and provided 2 nice bikes for us to ride. Communication & check-in was very easy. It’s less than a 10 minute walk to the train station which is only a 15 minute ride from Schiphol airport; 30 from Amsterdam. It is a top-notch, restful place to return to after easy day trips on the train to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Delft, Leiden and Haarlem. We highly recommend!

Herman is very hospitable and very kind. We had a nice chat with a drink, but if you don't need it, that's no problem at all. The bus stop is in front of the door, ideal. Herman even picked me up from the station, how thoughtful!
