You don't often come across a place like this on Airbnb. The more than 130-year-old log cabin in the cultural heritage landscape of Suvanto takes its residents on a time travel to a 19th century village in the far north of Finland. The property is best suited for a friend of Lapland's nature, history and silence, who is not afraid of the dark in winter or mosquitoes in summer. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

We offer accommodation in connection with our cottage on the beautiful shores of Lake Kemijärvi. The price of the accommodation includes the use of a sleeping barn, a separate kitchen cabin, a sauna and an outdoor toilet. The cottage is located 12 km from the center of Kemijärvi. The log cabin has beds for two. Electricity + heating. Well-equipped kitchen. No running water. The hosts take care of the drinking water in the kitchen. Fireplace. Washing in the sauna, the use of the sauna is agreed with the hosts. The hosts use the other buildings on the premises.

Experience the peace and quiet of Lapland's nature and the midnight sun in a unique glass-walled experience cabin on the shore of a wilderness lake. Accommodation for 3, up to 5 beds for those sleeping in their own sleeping bags. The kitchenette has a hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster and dishes (glasses, mugs, plates, coffee presses, cutlery, etc.). There are showers in the adjacent beach sauna. Composting wood toilet. The sauna is wood-heated. If necessary, we will guide you in heating the sauna. Available in summer and early autumn.

Towels and bedlinen: extra fee of 30€ / person. Note: this includes also handtowels 2 medium size efatbikes for rent (30€ per 🚲 / day)

Well-equipped kitchen, newly renovated bathroom and sauna, fireplace, dishwasher and washing machine. Pets welcome. National park trails, ski slopes and a ski resort are in the immediate vicinity. Distance to Rovaniemi and Santavillage 130 km. There is a bus connection from Rovaniemi to Pyhätynturi.

Mökki sijaitsee Vuostimon kylässä, matkaa Pyhälle rinteisiin, hiihtoladuille ja Pyhä-Luosto kansallispuistoon 14 km. Kemijärvelle 35km, Pelkosenniemelle 15 km, Savukoskelle 60km ja Sodankylään 70 km. Lähin ruokakauppa Pyhällä 14 km ja Pelkosenniemella 15 km. Lunta on vielä paljon maalis- ja huhtikuussa, silloin myös parhaat ulkoiluilmat.
