I could not have been happier with my stay here. Tom was the most accommodating Airbnb host I have ever had. I got sick right before arriving and didn’t want to share a bed with my friend I was tracking with for fear of giving it to her. So Tom made up a beautiful second bed for us that was just as cute at the official real bed already there. This was so helpful. Really saved our trip. The room was stunning, location is perfect, and check in was smooth. Would give 6 stars if I could.

Wonderful location, very close to all you need.

This lovely place is cozy, clean and it got all the amenities that one might need to have a good couple of days in a lovely town such Winchester, the flat is located within 5 minutes from the centre and is very quiet, also the host Tom will replay within a few minutes any enquiries at all, no matter the simple or silly things that you have in mind. Such a chic place to stay that sets the tone for a stay in charming refined Winchester. Stylish classic oriental decor in a self contained space that makes expert use of the size with lots of big shiny mirrored surfaces. Lots of special touches, easily found in the apartment’s nooks and crannies, from a multitude of herbal teas to luxury skincare and essentials like phone charging cables at arms reach. Thanks for making us feel so indulged Tom! Would absolutely stay again to make a weekend getaway in Winchester that little bit more special.

I had a lovely stay with my hosts, Henny and her mother, and couldn't have been made more welcome. The accommodation was clean and warm, and provided everything I needed, and the bed was very comfortable, so I slept very well too. It is about 5 minutes walk to the centre of Winchester, and not much further to the station so very well located. I look forward to staying there again when I'm in Winchester. I would thoroughly recommend it to others.

Very welcoming lovely room ideal for the centre of Winchester

Such good value! Perfect location minutes from the train station and so close to town whilst also quiet leafy very pretty area. The house is really a lovely Victorian terrace overlooking the church. I was visiting for a funeral but I will definitely be back for a happier visit to the Christmas Market and Cathedral etc. Thank you so much Henny and Carol! :))

The Annexe is in a fantastic location for Winchester city centre. Clean and tidy. The hosts are thoughtful and provide a sheet of recommended local restaurants which is really nice to see. Perfect for a couple's break. We would definitely come back.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, cosy warm in winter. The space is small (as described), a well-sized bedroom with a small bathroom. Marie has added a few clever details: a small fridge and tea-making facilities with light snacks suitable for an easy breakfast. This is perfect for a short stay in Winchester - a restful space close to public transport. Would definitely stay again!

The Annexe is a brilliant spot located a stones throw from Winchester train station. The room is very Bright and has everything you could need it’s amazing what Maire has managed to do with the space. The room was so cosy and warm when we arrived after a long day travelling due to delayed flights and over crowded trains. Lovely touches such as gin and tonic in the fridge and an addition heater on in the room on a cold March day to greet us. Maire was my pleasant, professional and efficient to deal with as a host threw the air b&b service. I would highly recommend Maire as a host and her air b&b

It’s a lovely little annex in a really nice quiet location. Little bits for breakfast provided including tea and coffee which was a nice added touch.

Fabulous flat and super location.

Terrific place to stay. Secure and private. Very comfortable bed, nice kitchen and bathroom. Gorgeous garden on a sunny day. The flat is very close to the station and an easy walk to the High Street with its wonderful shops. Rosie is a fantastic host. Highly recommended.

Rosie and Tim were very friendly and discreet while we were in their apartment. Tim received us when we arrived. They left us some wine, flowers and also some cheese, bread and jam since we arrived late. They even added a blowup bed for our son and some toys. We are very grateful for all that. It was very nice to stay in their studio that we enjoyed a lot during our stay in Winchester. Access to the apartment is through 3 or 4 steep steps which was not a problem for us. Just important to know in case someone has reduced mobility. I recommend it!

This is a great little place to stay if you’re ever in Winchester. It’s quiet but a really short walk away from the train station and the town. Rosie definitely goes out of her way to make you feel welcome (and even picked me some flowers and arranged them for my arrival - such a nice touch). I’ll definitely be recommending this place to any friends looking for an ideal base when in Winchester.

It’s my second time staying at Sophie & Ramin’s Air B’n’B and it was so calming to know that whilst I was working in Winchester I had this haven to go back to. The wind & rain was howling outside and yet you’d never know it the room (with en-suite) is so cosy. Location of the room within the house is towards the back so you feel pleasantly tucked away. The room is spacious, spotlessly clean (of course), stylishly understated and very comfy. Sophie & Ramin are accommodating lovely hosts. The location in Winchester is second to none, just one street away you can find the theatre royal & an abundance of gorgeous eateries, bars etc. Highly highly recommend!

Sophie & Ramin’s place is well situated for the railway station, and the high street, and the room is comfortable and quiet. It had a nice hanging area for clothes, and room for my case. I loved the little touches like the coffee & tea facilities in the room, and the small flask of fresh milk. Having an on-suite shower room was great, and the latch on the door was very reassuring. The closeness to the high street means breakfast & dinner isn’t a problem - the pie shop down the road was great, and there are many other places close by. Both Sophie and Ramin were helpful and welcoming, and struck the right balance of welcoming and respectful of personal space.

An outstanding property in a perfect location for exploring the city

We had a last minute cancellation and managed to book Mark's place for a long weekend the day before we were due to arrive. The place was very clean and definitely felt cozy whilst sheltering from the bad weather. Kitchen was well equipped for all of our needs and very quick commminciation when neeeded. Would recommend.

I seriously wrote this review sitting at my home in Chongqing, China, 10,000 kilometers away. When I checked out, AirBnB reminded me to write a review. I think it was disrespectful to Claire's behavior. This time I came to Britain to spend the Chinese New Year with a total of 15 days. In addition to four days in Scotland and one day in London, the other 9 days lived in Claire's house (Jubileehouse & printworks). It is evaluated from 4 aspects, and I hope that everyone who is still hesitating to book Claire's house can be helpful: 1) Location: Jubilee House is 3 minutes walk from the train station and 5 minutes from the city center. Printworks is 3 minutes from the city center and 5 minutes from the train station. Both are super convenient, don't worry about traffic. 2) Living environment: jubileehouse is a brand new and modern style. The kitchen is well-equipped, and it is no problem to deal with Chinese food. Fit young couple. Printworks is slightly older, but more pyrotechnic. In a small yard, the corner is the city center, and the rooms are more local in style. I felt comfortable for five days. 3) Cost-effective: To be honest, I have done a lot of strategies, because spending the New Year with my girlfriend ca n’t be too bad, but it also needs to be able to save the province. Wen Che is an elderly city, and the city is not large. It can be considered to find a house at this price in the downtown area Yes, the savings in transportation costs are huge, and the cost of living time is correspondingly reduced. This is very important, especially suitable for short-stay tourists. No one wants to waste time on traffic every day. 4) Host communication: I can only say that I am really friendly and caring. On the last day, I returned to Heathrow on the evening of the flight. After a delay of two o'clock to check out, there was no additional cost. Some small problems (can't find a place, Wi-Fi, hot water, etc.) were communicated and resolved in time, which is really great. The above 4 points are the real feelings that I lived in Claire's house in Wincher, which also greatly enhanced my journey happiness and harvested what I wanted most. I hope you don't hesitate, it will be great value for money.

This was a last-minute booking for us while on a trip to Winchester. The room exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable, clean, close to the city center, and our hosts were lovely. We would definitely book this room again. If you are concerned about the detached bathroom, it was not an issue for us. There was plenty of privacy.

Joanne offers wonderfully warm welcome to her beautiful home. The perfect host, nothing is too much trouble and the breakfast is gorgeous! (Her poached eggs are the best EVER!) The bedroom is sparkling clean, warm and cosy and the tea tray (with fresh milk) is such a thoughtful addition so you can make yourself a hot drink to enjoy in your own pretty sitting room. You can walk into the High Street in under 10 mins. I have no hesitation in saying if you stay here you will not be disappointed.

Joanne's house is beautiful and charming in a way only found in the UK. The location is just perfect for exploring Winchester as it is far enough away from the centre to be quiet but close enough to be a very short walk (5 mins on foot and your in the Main Street). The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. I had a sound nights sleep and woke refreshed. Overall, one of my best Airbnb stays!

Anastasia was very welcoming and accommodating when I arrived. She Allowed an early check in time which was essential for my stay, there was parking for my car and it was incredibly close to Winchester town centre... everything I was after!

Lovely brand new apartment very close to the station and around an 8 minute walk to the centre. The apartment is located in a very quiet neighbourhood so is great for a quiet nights sleep. The underfloor heating was a real bonus in the winter temperatures!

This is a lovely sole occupancy ground floor flat - one kitchen/diner and one en-suite double bedroom. A great size for two people. Very clean and modern with a fully equipped kitchen. Milk and some croissants were provided to get us started and tea/ coffee too. Good WiFi. Some instructions on how the TV works would be handy as we couldn’t work out the channels (I’m sure if we had just asked they would have explained though). Also instructions on how to adjust the under floor heating would be good as well as we were quite cold at times. Parking- free road parking outside between 6pm-8am, otherwise it was £7/day in a car park near by. A lovely stay- would come again!

This place is beautiful and so so stylish. It is 5 minutes walk to station, 10 minutes walk to high street and 2 minutes walk to Co-op. It has everything you possibly need to ensure a comfortable stay, and I love Mark's attention to details in decorations and amenities. The area is so safe and quiet, Claire is so friendly and responsive. I highly highly recommend :)

What a lovely space! Gillian is a gracious host providing everything you need for a stay including yummy homemade cookies. The kitchen was beautifully equipped, the bed was very comfortable, the showers hot, WiFi was fast and there were lots of television options. The entire apartment was squeaky clean and absolutely beautifully decorated. Gillian provided all the “little “ things that make you want to book an AirBnB instead of a hotel. There was information on restaurants, taxi services, and all the appliance information that is so handy if you’re not sure how to work something. There were books on the windowsill, nice fluffy pillows, lap blankets in the living room-many extra touches that make it feel like a home. There is free private parking in the back, which is tricky to find the first time in spite of detailed instructions. (The entrance sits far back from the road, and the road’s sign faces the wrong way.) But you don’t need a car at all to eat out or see the sights of Westminster-everything was a very easy 5-10 minute walk away. Great location! Thank you for the lovely stay. You are a fantastic host!

Great place in a very convenient location

Great location, quiet, comfortable, a parking space in the centre of town, perfect for a visit to a Winchester.

This apartment is ideally situated for a holiday / business trip in Winchester. It is close to the cathedral and all the other tourist "must sees". Although it is centrally located, it is beautifully quiet, particularly at the rear of the property, so a good night's sleep is guaranteed. The secure off-road car parking is a real boon. The apartment is tastefully decorated and has all the amenities you could wish for. Winchester is a beautiful city and makes an ideal base for exploring Wessex. There are several interesting National Trust properties in the surrounding countryside - we recommend Mottisfont which can be reached in 30 minutes by car. We were also impressed by the standard of the local restaurants. We can heartily recommend the River Cottage Canteen and Rick Stein's, which are both only a 5-10 minutes walk away.

This has to be the best Airbnb in the city. The flat has been beautifully refurbished and modernised and is spotlessly clean. No expense has been spared and the bed is very comfy. The location is perfect, a couple of minutes walk from the shops, yet in a lovely quiet street and with the added benefit of a private parking space. Jean is a perfect host; she is friendly, she replies quickly to messages, she was flexible over check-in she couldn't have done more to give us a perfect break in Winchester. What a marvellous host! Karen has gone the extra mile to accommodate our ever-changing requests. Her home is lovely and is perfectly placed for the city centre - an ideal place for a city break! You can easily walk into the heart of the city in only 10 minutes. I would highly recommend.

Perfect place to stay for one or two guests. Karen is a warm and welcoming host, answers to questions promptly and is in general as helpful and approachable as you could possibly wish for. The cottage is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, has a patio and garden to use that are shielded from view. (I wish it had rained less when I was there.) The whole place is tidy, well equipped and tastefully furnished - just the cottage you need for some relaxing time. I would def recommend and I myself will gladly stay at Karen's cottage again should I be back in Winchester.

This is a very nice tiny house. Everything is laid out well and not cluttered so you still have lots of the feeling of space. I'm 5'9" and had no issues with size or headroom space at all. Wonderful place!

Lovely townhouse in a very quiet mews. Super convenient for the railway station and an easy stroll to the High Street. The kitchen is wonderfully well equipped and all the facilities through the house are excellent. Phil gave me a very warm welcome at check in and was a great communicator throughout the booking process and during my stay. Loved it here, and would definitely stay again.

Highly recommend, lots of personal touches you would expect in a hotel. Nicely furnished and v comfortable. Only downside is parking for just one car and test your reversing skills for parking!

Very modern and in a great location

I stayed at Phil's place for a week in late September/early October with my brother. I can't praise this apartment highly enough. It's in a great location right next to the station and a short walk from restaurants and shops. It was sparkling clean with two really nice bedrooms, one with attached bathroom and another with a bathroom right next to it. It has a spacious kitchen and very nice living area with a lovely balcony that has very nice leafy green views. Phil was at the place on our arrival and thus gave us a very detailed introduction to all the flat's amenities. It is an extremely well equipped flat with everything you could possibly need. From the time of the booking through the end of our stay, Phil always responded promptly to any questions. Phil's flat would be my first choice for future visits to Winchester and I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting the city. Kevin

We checked in at the last minute and appreciated that Phil was so accommodating and how easy it was to do that. The location was perfect for us, and the addition of a parking space in the garage welcome. The accommodation elegant, it is well taken care of, and finished to a high standard. The kitchen is well stocked which anyone cooking may appreciate. We loved the balcony and outlook over some lush gardens. I would highly recommend Phil and this location it served our needs very well.

Room was a little bigger than I was expecting. Very quiet and a very comfortable bed. Caroline was very helpful with different check in and check out times even though it was last minute. Great location for Winch - couple of mins wander from train station so easy access to town as well. Nice people in a nice house.

Heidi is a lovely and attentive host with a location and accomodation that is perfect for those wishing to stay in comfort and a more traditional styled home. The location is much better than I expected it to be, the bed was like floating on a cloud, and her attitude and perkiness are something to admire and respect

Heidi was a wonderful host! As she says, the house was very quiet and the room was modest but just what I needed. I loved the neighborhood pub down the street! The shower in the room was unique but ultimately very convenient. Would stay again!

Heidi's place is ideally situated, close to the train station and to the city centre. The room is spacious, and the street is quiet. Heidi is lovely and happy to offer advice on local places to visit. She is also happy to provide extra things if you need them. A great place to stay.

A fantastic room in a lovely family house! Very close to main town centre and less than a two minute walk from the station. In a quiet and safe street as well. The room is spacious and homely with lovely decor and personal touches showing a real love for the city of Winchester and care for her guests! Shower inside the room, with tea and coffee making facilities and storage space for clothes. The main bathroom is just outside the room and is very clean and homely. Heidi is a fantastic host and can not recommend her home to stay in enough!

Emma's place was delightful, she was super communicative and very flexible regarding our travel plans and late check out. We had to head back to London early (due to work - nothing to do with the flat) and so missed out on our second night. But Emma has been super kind and offered an extra night next time we stay in Winchester. We will definitely be choosing Emma's place for our next visit!

Emma’s place is absolutely wonderful if you’re thinking of visiting Winchester. It’s close to all the major tourist sights and right off the high street so access to the best restaurants, stores etc is really easy. The space itself is very clean comfortable and stylish. I enjoyed staying there and would love to if I make a trip into Winchester again.

Emma's place is one of the nicest airbnb apartments I've stayed in. It's very conveniently located, an easy walk from the train station and near a dozen restaurants that looked good. The apartment is beautifully decorated and warm and inviting. Would be great for solo traveler or couple on a weekend retreat in Winchester.

Great pad based in Wincester, only a 10 - 15 min walk into the town centre and great ammenities. Lucy is a great host, took the time to give some advice about the surrounding area which was much appreciated. Flat had everything you could want, including parking, which is always handy.

A perfect flat for one or 2 people wanting to explore beautiful Winchester. The area was so quiet and easy walking distance of the railway station and city of Winchester. The bed was really comfy and the kitchen & lounge area gave us everything we needed. Parking on-site was a real bonus.

It's the best house in Winchester, England. Cleanliness, sensitivity, comfort, location, and integrity of the owner. I visited many Airbnb families, including the United States, Australia, Germany, Britain, Hungary and France. But I've never felt such a delicate and elaborate house. It is good to use near London, Portsmouth, and Southampton, England, and experience the historic Winchester of England. And if you use this house, you will feel the sincerity of the owner. I am still so grateful to the landlord that I want to praise him for being the best.

Great and swift communication from start to finish. Parking very close to apartment with hassle free check in. Chris had left very welcome essentials- milk, tea, coffee, biscuits, water and wine 😃 Immaculate apartment in fabulous location- just a round the corner from the theatre (which we went to for the panto) and bars/restaurants. Loved Turtle bay (Caribbean) and loch Fynne (fish) to eat.

Lovely bright and stylish apartment in central Winchester, would definitely recommend if looking for a location close to everything but also with parking. Everything is close by and we walked everywhere (Christmas market, cathedral, cinema, high street, nearby spa hotel, restaurants, pubs), also the station is close by. Flat is warm and comfortable, nice bed linens and towels, WiFi well too.

Lovely flat, clean, nicely decorated and furnished. Walking distance to the shops/Christmas market and very handy to have a parking space. We had a lovely weekend, Christmas shopping.

Katrina's apartment was bright, spacious, comfortable and stylish. Stunningly for such an incredibly central and convenient location it was also peaceful and had a parking spot! The property had views in almost all directions and plenty of room for us all. Despite being in a flat we didn't hear neighbours at anytime. A perfect calm getaway location!

We loved our stay at Katrina's lovely apartment in Winchester. It is very comfortable, spotlessly clean and well located for exploring the town. We particularly appreciated the little extras such as tea and milk, which meant we could make a cup of tea as soon as we arrived.

This place is a gem. Centrally located, gorgeously presented with a very attentive host. Situated a few hundred yards from the cathedral, coffee shops and lots of great pubs and restaurants. The flat is really cosy, with lovely decor and a very comfy bed. Perfect for a romantic break. We will be back!

We were delighted with our stay in Jane's flat. It is outstandingly chic but also has a comfortable, homey atmosphere. The bed and shower are superb. It's located very centrally nearby the town centre and not far from the train station, so we were able to walk everywhere but still enjoy a peaceful neighbourhood and plenty of nature nearby. Jane herself was hospitable and communicative every step of the way! We were sad to leave!

I don't want to write this review. Once I do, I fear that this little gem will be scooped up so fast, I'll never be able to book it again. Our host, Jane is without compare; she is available, kind, courteous, and very thoughtful. The location is perfect for access to the cathedral, shops, pubs, and anything you'd like to do in Winchester. However, the real joy is the amazing furnishings and thoughtful attention to every small detail. The flat itself is beautifully furnished with a neutral palette of grey, beige, and white with pops of colour and natural wood. Linens are crisp, smell delightfully fresh, and bright white. The bathroom is lovely, the shower hot and water plentiful. But the real joy is the kitchen. We travel often and prefer to cook; however, in most AirBnBs, something is missing--salt, sugar, washing up liquid. Not here. Not only is every small detail tended too, including Illy coffee and two types of coffee makers, but every single kitchen item has been thought of, from the Magic Bullet to the garlic press and champagne bucket; no expense has been spared. If you are looking for a truly bespoke experience that will make you want to spend more time in the flat than away from it, this is easily the best place in Winchester. We booked one stay, booked another within an hour of arriving, and hope to be frequent visitors. I'm sure you will feel the same--ENJOY!

We had such a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage / flat. We booked last minute the same day 2 hours before and Jane was more than happy to accommodate us. The house was very cosy and warm, decorated beautifully. The bed was so comfortable and it was lovely having faux fur blankets. Everything was spotless and very clean. Jane was very helpful with our bags too, and allowed us free parking at her own home. She also recommend some lovely local pubs. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Thank you Jane for a wonderful comfortable stay!

We had a lovely visit to Winchester. The apartment was clean, comfortable, warm and plenty of hot water. Good position to walk into town but far enough out for it to be quiet in the evening. Lovely living room, kitchen, dining space at the top. And two bathrooms between 5 of us was a bonus. A very enjoyable visit and I will recommend to friends in the future.

Lived up to the reviews! Great space. Well looked after. Particularly liked the kitchen and sitting area. Lots of thoughtful touches like dishwasher tablets, washing up bits etc. Fiona very helpful but not at all intrusive.

Four friends & I had a great stay at Fiona's. A bright, clean flat with cosy carpets, very comfy beds & modern decor. Just a few minutes walk into town & easy communication with the host. Thank you, we'll be back!

Amazing. Helen is a kind host, nothing is too much trouble. She took such amazing care of my folks, during their stay. The gas fireplace is wonderfully cosy and warm, the apartment is a delight, and the setting is picturesque. Would highly recommend!!!

We had a fantastic stay at Helen’s place. It is beautifully renovated and very comfortable. It is a short walk into town and located in a quiet area by a lovely church. We had our baby son with us and the house was well equipped for him (high chair, travel cot etc). The fireplace in the living room is very cosy for nights in... wish we could have stayed longer!!

We had a lovely stay! Place was immaculately clean, the bedroom was stunning and the bed was so comfortable. My husband loved the underfloor heating in the en-suite. Georgie made our stay so comfortable and provided a really nice breakfast. Accommodation is 5 minute walk into town and close to everything. We will definitely return on our next visit.

It was our 2nd time round and would definitely come back again. The host was very flexible about our coming and going. Good location.
