Worth a weekend staycation!

Jurre's yurt and his brother Nick is a great experience. The yurt is cozy, neat and equipped with everything you need including electricity, gas stove, kitchen block and a lovely wood stove. The place in the yard gives you a lot of space and privacy. Certainly because of the separation at the shower, toilet and hot tub. The spot at the wood-fired hot tub and sheltered corner with a sofa is great for breakfast in the sun. Supermarket nearby and 10 min from the beach. The hospitality of the hosts and freedom of the place are the perfect ingredients for a weekend away completely! In short: if you love camping with all the comforts you want and the luxury of a hot tub, there is no reason not to book!

Cannot recommend this enough! The yurt is amazing - cosy, romantic and storm proof. Perfect for a weekend of cocooning away from the world.

Spending the night in the yurt during stormy weather ... what a lovely and comfortable place to stay! Tastefully decorated, lots of privacy and a fine wood-fired hot tub, which we have used a lot. The beach is a short drive away, with tasty lunches in various beach bars. We enjoyed!

My wife and I stayed for 6 nights in Jan's apartment. It was very nice there and we felt very comfortable. The house is very quiet in the countryside and is an ideal starting point for excursions.

Ok here in German. The stay with Jan was wonderful. The apartment has a lot of nice details and you can tell that it was furnished with care and love. Simply great and super uncomplicated! I can only recommend the apartment! We will definitely go back here to have a little rest!

Jan's accommodation is simply unique. The view over the lake is wonderful! We were there for a short weekend and loved it. We were received by a farm cat, who (honestly) showed us the way to our door: D she also came by regularly! We were also allowed to use Jan's bikes and he gave helpful tips :) You can only recommend this place! Towels are also available! The only point that I think is a shame, one noticed that the previous tenants left the dishes dirty. The host can't do anything about that. Thank you for the nice days in this accommodation!

Jan is a dedicated host! Everything went smoothly from check-in to departure. Apartment 1 is very tastefully and comfortably furnished. WiFi works perfectly. Simple, nice bungalow in a small bungalow park. We were there with two families to six people over the turn of the year. The communication on site worked great. Dirkshorn itself is unspectacular. The sea and many places are easily accessible by car. Important for the cold season: the house was well heated and nice and warm.

If you want to go to West Friesland, where it is very beautiful, we highly recommend this house. We were there with the four of us and it went very well, everything was there. In any case, the detached house is fully and cosily furnished including the kitchen and it is very clean. The view is beautiful. We had good contact with the landlords. The village of Winkel is small, as you would expect in West Friesland, a beautiful church, there is a supermarket nearby.

We had a great stay in the house. It is beautifully decorated and has brought us the peace and warmth we were looking for over Christmas. It is larger and more beautiful than the photos and has a beautiful view over the golf course. The cottage has everything you could possibly need during your stay. We would recommend it to everyone!

We stayed 6 days in this accommodation and were very happy. The cottage is very charming and clean, the facilities are as described. You have your own terrace and small garden behind the house with a beautiful view of nature as in the pictures. Only the construction site next to the house was a bit annoying, especially if you tried to sleep in the afternoon. Our bedroom was nice and right under the roof. In hot weather, however, it can get warm quickly here. We were with our toddler, but there was everything necessary such as cot and high chair. Winkel is a small beautiful place, a supermarket at 1.5 km away. The North Sea is 20 minutes by car, on the IJsselmeer in 10 minutes. Our host was very nice and helpful. We thank and recommend this house.

I stayed at Jose guest house with my family for 2 days and it was just amazing. Recommend it is not enough, I think we should advertise it for them. Two words to them : "thank you" for the amazing guest house. It's very well furnished, built with fine materials of highest quality, fully equipped with all the necessary appliances/commodities and more. It's well suited for family stays or group of friends as well. Parking, Private garden with terrasse are also available for the guests. Jose and his husband are very kind and helpful. To notice for those who might be frustrated (hopefully not), Winkel is a very small village where the speed limit is 30km/h, as Belgian we are not accustomed to that philosophy but we get accustomed pretty easily.

We stayed for about a week in the cute little house, it was great and liked. The area is very cute and the people very nice. It is very fast everywhere in Holland, so very well located. We were there with our two dogs and it was no problem, the garden is fenced.

Staying at a quiet location in the Noord-Hollandse Waarland is a pleasure. A private apartment above a garage. Fully equipped. A beautiful bathroom, a cozy living room with a dining table, a kitchen and two bedrooms, a family can relax here. Nice cycling in the area, a nice walk or a day in Alkmaar, everything is possible in the area. A must for everyone!

Absolutely loved this place. The cottage is so welcoming and cosy. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Anous and Elmo were so friendly and accommodating and even gave us access to their bikes to ride around the town. We had been staying in the major cities while travelling around Europe and booking this Airbnb further out of Amsterdam just gave us the perfect time to relax and enjoy the countryside while still only being an hour train from the city. Very close to the sand dunes which were fun to ride the bikes through and plenty of walking trails. The highlight was definitely the two horses that you can see right through the kitchen window every day! And having their golden retriever visit the cottage at dinner time ❤️

Nice welcome, very comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. The coffee machine and the small fridge are great, especially since there is no café in the morning, where you can drink your first coffee. Without a car certainly a bit far away, however, is right next to a small restaurant with a very friendly host, so you can easily eat and drink a snack in the evening. Due to the rural location there were a lot of mosquitoes - a small downer ... for a long weekend a nice place to stay with friendly landlords.

The place is located on a very lovely village side in a very lovely neighborhood and consists of two seperate rooms, each room has a double bed, the bathroom is seperate from the toilets, and that was perfect. There are a lot of windows in the apartment, which makes it very well ventilated. Outside the house there are a small garden with very beautiful flowers and plants. There is also a good space to park the car. The host is super nice and lovable, and very polite and helpful. I would surely recommend this stay! BUT: DON'T GO THERE UNLESS YOU HAVE A CAR!

Stayed a long weekend with 8 people in November. It is a house with lots of space, spotlessly clean, colorfully decorated, nice wood burning stove, comfortable even though there is 1 toilet. This compared to the low rent makes the price / quality rating a 10 plus!

The house is located in a very idyllic village north of Amsterdam. It is super equipped, very stylish and everything was there. Shops are a few minutes drive away. Behind the house there is a small field on the sheep grazing. The best view early in the morning at breakfast. We have always found a parking space within 50 meters. The neighbors are all very friendly. We did not miss anything and who is looking for peace and relaxation, is definitely right here. Wietske was also very friendly and answered super fast.

Due to a disease of my husband, we unfortunately could not begin our journey. I was able to tell only very short notice. However, I hoped that we could come at least one or two nights. We stayed in Wietskes house for a week with our little daughter. It was much nicer to see in the photos! We felt very well, everything was there what you need. The house is very stylish and comfortably furnished, with much love for the detail. Everything was available for our little daughter, even toys from Wietskes children. Twisk is very nice and there is a great beach nearby which is nice for families.

Rob's house is astonishing! The photos don't do justice tho the actual beauty of the house, which is finely and sleekly furnished. The garden is amazing, handled down to the finest detail and perfect for having breakfast or lunch when it's sunny. Rob was super willing to solve any problem and his son-in-law was likewise nice and hospitable. The area is super quite and cute, a small village surrounded by greenery and a pleasant neighbourhood. Definitely recommended!

Loved this house and hosts. The house is very comfortable, clean, tidy and spacious. It had everything we needed; very well appointed. It's also well located - close to supermarket, and village facilities but also close to explore the region - beaches, local sights, Alkmaar, Amsterdam, and lots more. Highly recommended.

We made a short resolute family vacation for a week, where we wanted to spend both beach days and Amsterdam-days. Communication with Rob regard. Booking, travel etc. was very good and very fast. Everything was handled very well in German. To requests Rob responded usually within 1-2 hours. The reception at beginning of vacation was very warm and open. We were given access to the entire house and garden. Everything is super clean and well maintained, the decor very comfortable and at the same time stylish and luxurious. The kitchen is complete and everything is working, bathroom and shower are clean and very pleasant. The beds were already occupied and there were towels ready. In the garden there were comfortable chairs, a barbecue, beautiful flowers and shrubs. Health, Beauty, comfort, luxury, quality, directions, parking .. everything is perfect and truly premium! We lacked a week for nothing. For this, the neighborhood is hardly noticeable, except for a rooster that announces itself early at half past eight to speak. Shops are within walking distance and in high quality (comparable to Rewe). It reads here now as a hoax ... but we spent with our (almost adult) children a really nice and relaxing week. The house is not near the beach, the journey time to the North Sea is about 25 minutes to 15 minutes and after ijsselmeer Amsterdam 45 minutes. Those who want to make a clean beach holiday, should calculate the route with; We even spent the week five times on the beach and joined the from time to time with a visit to Alkmaar, Schagen, Edam and Hoorn. For this, the house is very good because all the cities in a very short time are reachable (and also as a half-day trips very worthwhile). Also to the north, for example, to Texel is the route short. Please remember that you must pass on arrival at Amsterdam, here you should not necessarily go in the rush hour. Many thanks to Rob and his wife who made our holiday very enjoyable. We are very happy to repeat it.

Very clean and equipped in the kitchen with everything you need. In addition, a pleasant rainforest shower. The apartment is located in the village and with the bikes you can quickly reach the beach!

We had wonderful days in Schoorl. Beautifully situated in a quiet place on the edge of the forest. Excellent for walking in the beautiful surroundings. The cottage was fine. Basic decor but nice and cozy. We had one small problem in the house but that was immediately resolved by the landlord. The bathroom has recently been renewed and it shows. Welcoming and friendly landlords. I can therefore recommend this location.

We had a great time at Erik´s place. We haven´t met in person, but his wonderful daughter took good care of everything. We arrived a little later due to traffic and she was so kind and already made our beds. We felt welcome and enjoyed the little house which kinda felt like we were on a boat/ especially the bedrooms. The kitchen had more to offer than we needed and the outdoor playground was perfect for our little one. Thank you. Hope you had a wonderful time in New Zealand?
