“I cannot speak highly enough of our stay here at Thapanee's. Thapanee, her niece and her two sons all were the most gracious and welcoming hosts, really going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. This is honestly one of the best airbnb experiences we've ever had. We stayed for a month, and since we're digital nomads the spaces we stay in are important to us as we need to work. I'd recommend Thapanee's place whether you are just on holiday or if you need a place to settle for longer and work. The room was pristine and comfortable, there was plenty of space for us to set up and work, and the garden is a beautiful space to be in with all the plants and the sounds of birds singing. I was doing yoga up on the flat roof in the morning and then working for the day in the garden - a seriously enjoyable way to spend a work day! The location is also super convenient, only 30min from Chiang Mai but there are plenty of local restaurants and a local market, so there's all you need day to day within close proximity. Away from the main road the small streets are quiet and peaceful so it's perfect as a place to get away from all the business of Chiang Mai. Absolutely fabulous place. I really recommend it to anyone who wants to be near Chiang Mai but wants a bit more peace and quiet.”
I am not fluent in Languages but can communicate using simple English and a bit of Chinese. We are 2 minutes away from the Chiang Mai Bus Terminal. (ARCADE ;name of station) 10 minutes away from the railway station to Bangkok, or Opt to take Bus to other parts of Thailand. Extremely convenient for those looking to Stay for a quick rest from the Bus Terminal. I will be around if needed.
“One of the best stays I have had with airbnb for the price, hospitality, amenities and authentic local experience. It definately feels like a homestay as she lives next door with her mother who are home often if you need to talk to them at all. During my stay with my partner, Aime went above and beyond in her thoughtfulness and caring to make sure you are at ease during your visit. She speaks very good English and we had no language barriers. We booked for a month to get the discount which is outstanding for how comfortable we felt during our stay, there is a women who comes to clean every weekday (towels, bedsheets(1-2x/week), bathroom, kitchen, dusting and garbages) . I had bad allergies during the burning season in Thailand and Aime was quick to help with tips for natural remedies(making a tea, harvested from her backyard), herbal cough syrups, and dusting/changing our sheets more frequently. She and her friend, Kevin who is often around are very considerate people and treat you like family. The people who stay in her other rooms next door that she rents out are often from sunshine Thai massage school, so there is great company of other travellers (not partiers) and very quiet. I was concerned about it being too far from old city and being a hassle, however Aime helped us with the local bus route straight to downtown for 15B one way, the bus stop being only a 5 minute walk away. She also has 4 bicycles for free use shared between the rooms, that although older they keep them well maintained. Overall it was fantastic experience and the next time we are in Chiang Mai will stay again.🙏😊”
