Holiday rentals with a patio in Saginaw Bay

The house was extremely clean, quiet, and well stocked with extra towels and blankets. The furniture is very comfortable, and the outdoor patio was a nice place to sit and relax after a busy day. It was well worth the price and I will definitely book it again, if it is available when I return to Midland.

We spent the weekend in birch run for my 21st birthday! The rental unit was amazing for me and five other friends Kathy even decorated the house for my birthday! we appreciate everything she left for us!

John is an incredible host - super responsive, amazing hospitality and so kind! He had great recommendations for places to eat in Port Austin and gave us directions to visit the lake. The cottage was a lovely stay and just what we wanted for memorial weekend - peace and quiet in a gorgeous location!

We loved it we went to go ice fishing and this was perfect location and they were so friendly. We hope to go back sometime

Such a charming place to stay right on Main Street. Easy to walk to all the restaurants and shopping. Unit was super clean and had so little added touches to make our stay enjoyable. The beds were comfy…not too firm or too soft. The deck with multiple seating areas was a great outdoor space. Hosts were quick to respond to any questions and offered great suggestions. We will definitely book this place on our next trip to Frankenmuth!

Beyond words our stay at this amazing cottage was the best ever all around! Karen and Nick are fantastic hosts! Waking up to the amazing, beautiful view of Huron Lake was simply the most amazing first time experience for us! Everything you could possibly need is supplied. The cottage is the perfect blend of modern and rustic. The awesome fire pit, beautiful sightseeing of nature, great fishing, and so much more made this the perfect "Up North" experience. You will love it! We guarantee it! Thank you truly to Karen and Nick for making this an unforgettable vacation for my husband and I, but most of all being the best hosts experienced! My family and I came down for a get away and a family get together and this place was just perfect. the house felt like home and everything is right around each other and found one of the best coffee shop 4 mins away...hope to visit again

we went up for just the day -- a little fathers day gathering so we could get out of town, enjoy some lake views, have a couple of good meals and all hang out at a sweet cute pretty spot. the house hit the marks on all of this and more. It's incredibly spacious, right on the water, easy access in all ways, super comfy ... ideal if going up with a buncha folks to hang at home, check out the area, eat and chill. We had some fun group meals in town, and enjoyed our night, a couple of fans coming together. Only wish we had more time ... worth spending a bit more on this place, if you can, given how comfortable it is, and how much a larger group can enjoy both the home itself, and checking out all there is to do in the surrounding area. A great splurge for us and totally added to how much we enjoyed our time together.

I surprised my husband with this holiday cabin/cottage on the lake getaway. He loved it!..and so did I. With GPS...the home was easy to find...even in the evening time, after dark. The home is warm and cozy. Loved the cabin decor. Love that all the rooms are on one level ( except for the mud room...just one step off the kitchen). We enjoyed sitting out on the 3 season porch drinking coffee in the mornings. Just keep in mind if you're traveling in the winter months, the porch is not heated. We just kept the door off of the living room open so that the heat would circulate. With our robes on and our hot cup of coffee, we did just fine. The views of the lake was awesome once the snow melted. The kitchen was fully stock with appliances, seasonings and spices. Slept like a baby on the queen size bed. Ample amount of clean linens. Bathroom nice and clean. Nice restaurants and pizza spots around town. Dog friendly! Would love to visit again in the summer months. 100 STARS ✨!

My husband and some friends were in town for a wedding, and had a really lovely stay here! The place looks just like the photos -- spotless and well furnished, but also has character and beautiful old wood floors. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the bathroom is quite nice. The whole place is really lovely, tasteful, and comfortable, and not at all cheaply done like many other Airbnbs. We were really pleased with our stay and I would highly recommend Shawna's place to anyone looking for a nice place to stay and a great deal in Bay City.

We loved our stay! Walked right in to a welcome gift catered to our stay and what we were there for. Beautiful view and access to the lake! We would definitely stay again!
