House holiday rentals in Saimaa

Lovely small single-family house + atmospheric sauna cottage in the middle of the woods, by the small river. Everything in the house is neat, pretty, and clean. The kitchen is especially well-equipped, including new appliances. The car can be reached right in front of the house. The yard is large and tidy, the grassy areas are large. The best part about the stay is an atmospheric, wood-burning outdoor sauna, and a lot. At dusk, you can sit in a lot of privacy, watch the starry sky, and listen to the rapids.

Very cozy cottage with no end of space: You can spend time in a spacious cottage, veranda, terrace, home, yard, beach, lake. From the yard sauna, a short walk to the beach, which, due to its depth and dark water, is not suitable for toddlers to swim. Beautifully decorated and put together that you wouldn't want to leave🙂.

Absolutely wonderful modern cottage with all the comforts, neatly cleaned. Additional points for stylish decor! Calming and beautiful environment, very relaxing and comfortable place. The owners patiently answered several questions almost immediately. There is only one toilet in the main house, which can be a bit challenging for a larger group, but during the summer, using the additional toilet in the sauna building was effortless. All in all, a wonderful place and experience, thank you very much!

Visa & Noora were very gracious hosts. They responded to messages very quickly and comprehensively. Their instructions were also extensive and varied. The place is really nice and quiet, so we got to ourselves. Very good for a large group with space for everyone and things to do! Strong recommendation for hosts and the listing!

Very clean cottage with great location! Easy and flexible check-in and the setting was great.

Everything went smoothly. Clearly, things have been thought out from the guest's point of view, the luggage was in order and easy to find, the instructions were clear. Home-like atmosphere.

I stayed with some friends for 1 night, the cottage is cozy and clean, with a fireplace we loved and a big sauna with shower. Although surrounded by other cottages, it's still quiet and private and with a lovely view on the lake Saimaa. Indications were super clear and whenever we need we asked and got replied quickly. We really enjoyed!

For the third time, such a relaxing week. Merja is a great renter, always friendly, responds to messages very quickly and keeps the cottage so tidy and clean, definitely nowhere else. Highly recommend and expect to be back in a year!

The stay was even better than we expected from the photos. There was plenty of room for eight and the setting was great. Great scenery right from the deck and it's easy to take a dip straight from the sauna. Highly recommended!

Very friendly host, everything went really well

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful property, and I can't say enough good things about it! The highlight of our stay was definitely the cute sauna house, which provided a perfect way to relax and unwind. The private entrance to the lake was another fantastic feature, offering serene and beautiful views right at our doorstep and a memorable experience of swimming in the lake after the Sauna. The host was incredibly responsive and attentive to all our needs, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The entire experience was smooth and enjoyable.

We had a great time in a beautiful place. Everything was as expected and the cottage had plenty of space. The host was very friendly and helpful when he showed us around. We loved the sauna and then dip in the lake afterwards. The view was one of the best I've had at a vacation rental. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful surroundings, amazing nature. Pure lake interesting for fishing. Mushrooms, berries. The town of Puumala is very near - two well stocked supermarkets. Very tasty good quality tap water. Julia is a nice responsible host.

It was a dream vacation! If you come in the summer, definitely go to the market on Saturday in Hokka. You can meet a captain there. He does great boat trips. It is also worth visiting a small farm with sweet Finnish sheep and cows. The contacts of those people can also be learned from the women in the cafe at the market, who are responsible for the organization. It is definitely worth renting the house, but it is necessary to have a car for bad roads. The last part of the route can be challenging for a pure city car. Have fun!

Cottages in a great location. Our adult son was on the trip and it was nice that he had his own cottage with more limited kitchen equipment and even his own sauna. The main cabin has a decent kitchen, dining area and living room. There is a good gas grill on the terrace. Gravel road less than a kilometer, also a good place to visit by motorcycles. There is another cottage relatively close, but there is no direct view of the living area and there seemed to be no one in the cottage. A nice, relaxed cottage, clean but not clinical. I would have liked to stay longer, but work interferes with leisure time. We went to Puumala's summer opening party at the harbor and toured the Seal Trail. The seal remained unseen, perhaps next time 🙂

Loved the cosy feel of the cottage, especially the fireplace and outside sauna. We all enjoyed playing games at night and were delighted to awake with unbelievable lake view.had a amazing time there,I wish we could have spent more time there,for sure will visit again.
