Cottage along Lewis Creek

SherryRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The is the perfect little getaway cottage nestled among mature trees and near a river. A screened-in porch was a nice addition as we were able to listen to a cacophony of birds every morning including veery, red-eyed vireo, ovenbird, warblers, and more! The cottage is cozy, and the kitchen is stocked with basic items needed to cook meals, if desired. It is very quiet at night. Note that the cottage does not have a TV (but there are puzzles, cards, Scrabble, and a shelf of books and magazines to keep you occupied. Cell service is spotty, so you may need WiFi calling enabled. The drive there takes you on tree-lined, unpaved roads, but even with a full day of rain, they were very drivable and the directions provided by the hosts were perfect. We would definitely stay here again, so that we could explore more of the area and the trails on the property. It was very rainy while we were there, so we didn't venture on them.

I felt comfortable the moment I arrived at this lovely bed and breakfast. The location is absolutely beautiful and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The space itself was spotless and thoughtfully maintained. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, striking the perfect balance between being helpful and giving me space. I truly appreciated their hospitality without feeling like my privacy was compromised. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

Quiet apartment in quintessential Vermont Village

Diane Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
Alison’s quiet apartment was exactly what we needed. We were up in Vermont for our daughter‘s graduation from UVM. Her location was ideal to get back-and-forth to Burlington and also have other options for restaurants outside of Burlington. Would happily stay again.

Tiny Timber Vermont

JaclynRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Serene and well designed, Gabriel's Tiny Timber home provided a peaceful respite from a bustling weekend of wedding activities just up the road. Waking up in the comfort of the tree tops with the quiet of falling snow was a welcome break. This tiny home has everything you need for a restful escape. Make sure you watch the youtube videos on how to arrive, especially if arriving after dark, and bring a flashlight.

Country comfort with beautiful views

Ditte And MarkRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We enjoyed our stay at Gary's home very much. It was exactly what home sharing should be; we had privacy, but we felt at home in Gary's house. He shared his time with us, welcoming us into his space (we even had a parking space in his garage!). He made breakfast each morning and we enjoyed chatting and sharing stories over coffee. His home is very comfortable and is located in a most beautiful setting with expansive views of the fields, hills and mountains. Downtown Burlington is only 20 minutes away. There are shopping opportunities and eating establishments along the way if needed. We did a short and sweet morning hike up Mt Philo located just down the road, but Camel's Hump is also nearby (you can see it from Gary's deck) if something more rigorous is desired. We heartily recommend Gary's place and hospitality.
