Beachfront holiday rental in Saint Ives Bay

We had a lovely week in Emily & Matt's flat. We liked that you can walk into town but also to Fistral beach & quieter areas. Great views - I enjoyed relaxing, reading in the bay window. I treated myself to swim & breakfast at Headland hotel (special offer).

We borrowed buckets and spades (and trucks and diggers) from the collection in the shed and took the short walk down to the lovely sandy beach most days. My granddaughter had heaps of fun playing in the shallow pools and golden sand in the sun. There were bodyboards too, but she's a little little for that just yet. Nanny was usually to be found observing us from the comfort of the Cove Cafe and admiring the wonderful vista - St Ives Bay in the sunshine (which is also the view from the house itself). The bravest of us swam in the chilly sea and returned invigorated, eyes sparkling. Suki charged about with energy and enthusiasm, greeting every other dog on the beach. We highly recommend this place. Notes: It's a flat beach, so the sea is very close a high tide and a long way off at low tide. Eating out in Cornwall is expensive. The house has a well-equipped kitchen and there is a Lidl and M&S Food Hall nearby if you are minded to eat in. The train St Erth<->St Ives is a nice option.

The place is really central, almost too central if you prefer somewhere more quiet and spacious. However this is just personal preference. It was a very nice place and 1 min from the beach.

It was close to the beach, but it was nice that it was quiet. There were a lot of stairs in the house, so it was a little difficult to go up and down with luggage, but there were two bathrooms and it was clean, so it was a satisfying trip! Thanks to you, it was a fun trip.

So nice to arrive after a long journey to find the water hot with excellent shower facilities, a welcoming comfortable bed with good quality bedding. We were told it was dog friendly, so we were appreciative to find bowls, towel etc., should you forget. The location was ideal for exploring the North Coast and we made full use of our NT membership. Wonderful dog friendly beaches and eating establishments very accomodating. we particularly enjoyed Godrevy and Holywell Coves. ''Tap House'' in St Agnes is a must , great food reasonably priced , but make sure you book and allow time for parking.

Great location for accessing all that St Ives has to offer. A minute from Porthmeor beach for great swimming and sunsets over the sea. Cottage was clean, well equipped and with very comfortable beds.

What a fabulous location, with the harbour view from the living room, just like the photos! And really quiet. Easy to walk anywhere in St Ives. We were there for a wedding. The venue was 7 minutes walk one way, and the reception 10 minutes in the other. For those not familiar with St Ives, take walking shoes - it’s hilly, with narrow uneven streets. Great place, highly recommend.

We loved our stay here. The apartment was perfect for us - a family of 4 with 2 teens. There is so much to do on the estate - the pool and leisure area were great for rainy days. It was amazing to be able to walk to the beach and enjoy the cafe as well as being able to hire SUPs and wetsuits. Melanie was a great host and was really flexible in letting us change our arrival day (twice!) as well as enabling an early check in. There's loads to do in the area. Highly recommended!

I booked this as a surprise birthday get away for my wife and our two young children and it was the most perfect place I could have ever imagined. The view from the balcony is incredible, especially the sun rise (thanks to my youngest we never missed) is something worth waking up for. The entire house was spotless and the bed was so comfortable! Mel gave very detailed instructions on how to find the home, as well as some fantastic local recommendations. Excellent communication right up to the booking and was very helpful with extras for the kids! The beach is only a short downhill walk away, even quicker if you jump in the pushchair with the kids. The beach is quite small but was perfect for us. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a Cornish getaway and would definitely book again!

The flat was spotless clean and very well decorated. Perfect location for a walk into town and also a stroll to Gylly beach. The view from the window was a delight when opening the curtains in the morning. one thing to note is the flat is a top floor and there is no lift. we never used the Falmouth hotel for swimming or gym but we did find that the bar was a perfect place for a drink on the way out\way back. Would love to stay here again. Never had to contact Nicola during the stay due to no issue's, however we did receive regular updates from Nicola. perfect holiday thanks you Nicola.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mary’s beautiful home. It exceeded our expectations the location was incredible, only a short and beautiful walk into the town. Next to the best beach. Every room was very clean and had everything we needed. Mary was very help helpful and quick to respond to any queries. Would highly recommend. Made a special birthday just perfect.

Marcus's place was great for our visit to Cornwall. The apartment was very clean and in a nice building. Within walking distance to lots of restaurants and two beaches. When we got lost during check in Marcus was available over phone and he called us again later to make sure we got in okay. Very friendly!

This is the cleanest holiday rental we’ve ever stayed. Owners were lovely and couldn’t do enough to help. Beautiful property. Wonderful area. Pool was lovely. Highly recommend. Absolutely loved staying at this Airbnb. It’s really comfortable, incredible views, and the location is perfect. It has everything you need. Only thing to note is that the bus stops regularly opposite the flat, and the second level of the double decker bus looks directly into the flat so you’ll occasionally lock eyes with someone on the bus if you’re in the living room. Didn’t really bother us though

Beautiful place! Would 100% stay again! We requested decorations to be put up for arrival as it was my mams 50th birthday. We sent decorations but they weren’t put up when we arrived. We spoke with Malcolm about this and he came straight over the next morning to do this while we were out and left some beautiful cupcakes, helped us rectify the heating as it was very hot, and was available at all times when we needed! Beautiful place! Very local to lots of shops and very close to the train station: beautiful views!

Cornwall has always been a special place for me and my partner, and since staying at Black Moon it has become our new favourite place yet! Little did my partner know, but we just got engaged here and it was the perfect place to propose and will always been an amazing memory. From the minute we booked, to the time we checked out, we couldn’t have asked for a better host and place to stay. What you see is what you get, so if you’re considering staying here… BOOK IT!

A beautifully clean and comfortable apartment with the best views of St Ives. We felt instantly at home the moment we walked through the front door. It’s in a brilliant location, close to all that St Ives has to offer. The parking space is a short walk away from the property, and is a bonus for St Ives as parking is always in short supply. We absolutely loved our stay at Alex and Abi’s apartment. It has the most amazing view of the harbour from the kitchen - the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee in the morning! It’s extremely close to cafes, restaurants and shops on Fore Street and only a short walk to Porthminster and Porthmeor beaches. The apartment itself is beautifully designed and decorated - it really feels like a home. We would jump at the chance to visit again.

I don’t usually write reviews, mainly because I’m quite a difficult person to please. But Day Dawn completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The location is simply breathtaking, and the house itself is finished to such a high standard you can clearly see how much thought and care Jo and Matt have put into every detail. My family and I had an amazing time here. The setting was perfect, the experience unforgettable, and it truly felt like a home away from home. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be returning to this very house again. Thank you, Jo and Matt, for having us it meant so much. Hopefully next time we’ll have the chance to meet in person. This place exceeding my expectations, perfect for one man and his dog….or two people and there dog!!! So full of character, yes it’s small but that’s totally its charm. Kitchen area was adequate for what most people would need and a fold down breakfast bar also ideal if you have to mix working away and being in holiday which was had to do. Fast WiFi so no worries on that front. Wet room made great use of the space and the shower is amazing. Oh and the bed….massive cosy bedroom area, ideal for those rainy days with its 75inch TV…..safe to say it felt like my own cinema. Location….its the best location!!! Quiet at night and during the day great to sit outside watching the world and people walking by. So overall I could not fault your place Jonathan, thanks for everything, I’m so going to come back that’s for sure, happy surfing!!
