Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Julien-en-Genevois

I spent about a week in this charming functional accommodation at the foot of Mont Salève. The place is quiet and restful and the hosts welcoming, available and accommodating if needed, thank you to them. I will happily return to (re)discover this beautiful region that I love very much.

A jewel by a running river where you can cool off in between exploring Annecy, Chamonix or the local mountain villages. House is perfect! An authentic watermill with a completely enclosed beautiful garden next to the river. The village of Frangy has everything including Boulangerie, fromagerie , local winery and authentic farm restaurant serving delicious meals with in and outdoor seating to watch the world go by. Beautiful walks to nearby waterfalls from the doorstep: highly recommended!

My son and I had an awesome/great time. It feels like we are in a 5 Star hotel. Beautiful, homely, breathtaking, lovely, pleasant, cozy, luxury, perfect place, exclusive, high quality, meticulously clean, calm surrounding. We say A Big Thank You To Liselotte and her husband, they are kindhearted, considerate, easygoing, friendly, amazing, and communicate easily. We will surely miss this beautiful, lovely home and we cannot wait to come back again and enjoy all the luxurious amenities.

Great, nothing to say, the apartment is very, very clean, the place is perfect for going to Switzerland, 800 meters from the Swiss border, I highly recommend it.

Sandrine is adorable and very caring. For us parents, it was perfect because there were also plenty of games, books and things for children. Sandrine did everything to make us feel good. The apartment is nice, functional and comfortable. The garden is amazing. The environment is peaceful, apart from a few tractors, but this is not common. I imagine it depends on the harvest periods. In any case, it did not spoil our stay. Thanks to Sandrine, I can only recommend and if I go back there, we will come back with pleasure. Anna Bozic

Our stay was a success. We stayed in the accommodation for 2 months and there is nothing to say except that it is a beautiful little house (as shown in the photos) with responsive and always attentive hosts. In addition, it is super well equipped whether at the appliance level or others (towels/sheets/cleaning products etc...) I highly recommend this TinyHouse which has relatively easy access to get to Geneva!

After a short-term booking, Morgan warmly welcomed us 45 minutes later in front of an idyllically located old mill and we were able to move into the accommodation immediately, which was in a very clean and impeccable condition. The heated whirlpool was the icing on the cake. Many thanks also to Jean-Luc for the excellent breakfast. The location and the hosts are worth a trip!

The accommodation was excellent, very clean and you can park for free inside. A plus for those coming by car. The accommodation has an automatic blind, in the photos you can't see it, so a 10/10. You also have a bus stop a few meters away that takes you directly to the center of Bern, and you also have a Carrefour supermarket a few meters away. The guy who greeted us was very kind and was waiting for us to arrive at the accommodation. Thank you very much for everything 🥰

Excellent location to enjoy this beautiful region and all the amenities (shops and bike rentals close by). We had a great stay in this beautiful, spacious and particularly well-equipped accommodation. Sandrine is a charming and available person who took the time to welcome us and give us advice for our stay. There is all the baby equipment available (bed, high chair, bathtub) as well as books and toys for children. Everything is thought out to feel good. We'll be happy to go back!

My stay went very well, quiet place. The access explanations were very clear. The apartment is warm, functional and very pleasant. Teo is very responsive in his answers to my questions. I recommend it without hesitating.

The house was small but incredibly functional — it had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Thoughtfully equipped and very well maintained. The location was also great: just a short walk to the railway and bus stations, with shops and a market nearby. The lake was only about 10 minutes away on foot, which made for lovely walks. Perfect for a short or solo stay!

Britta is a fantastic host—extremely helpful and attentive. The apartment itself couldn’t be better; it’s truly a hidden gem. The view over Saint-Julien is stunning, and the space is both practical and cozy, instantly feeling like home the moment you walk in. I couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Alexia and Johan are excellent hosts; communication couldn't be easier, the studio very clean, full of welcome touches such as coffee pods, mineral water and chocolate in the fridge. Excellent for public transport, a supermarket, restaurants-and easy walking distance to the int. organisations. Highly recommended

Pascal was very welcoming and accommodating. Went above and beyond to help us out. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay there.

Excellent stay in Annecy! Very well furnished studio with everything you need. The hosts were very nice and especially available! They were able to adapt to us, because we arrived late on the big day. Regarding the location of the apartment, we were right next to the city center and 5 minutes from the Annecy Animation Film Festival. In short, 10/10, thank you again! 🥰

We had a great welcome from Jean Luc when we arrived, with ideas for walks in Evian and the surrounding area. The apartment is very well located in the center and Lake Evian. The city is nice. The apartment has everything you need (like at home). The garden is pleasant for naps. 😉 We had a great time and recommend.

we were blown away by this place - the view is absolutely amazing. the house was spotless and very well equipped. the nearest village was an 8 minute drive, and there is a market on on Saturday mornings. annecy was around 30 mins drive into the centre. the host was very good at communicating and also gave us our space which we appreciated- also very accomadating as we were travelling with a baby they kindly let us check in a little earlier. the only thing I would give as feedback to the host, there is no shade in the garden, and as we were blessed with gorgeous sunshine throughout our stay, we enjoyed eating our dinner and letting our baby play outside - maybe an umbrella or parasol over the decking would be an added touch. overall wonderful stay and would 100% recommend.

We had a great time at the Grattague at Wilfried's place. Her warm and well laid out apartment is located in a quiet location. From the balcony, magnificent views of Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi. Hiking departure at the foot of the residence. Wilfried is an attentive and caring host. Thanks again!

we had a wonderful stay at this beautiful little apartment. everything we needed was there, it was absolutely spotlessly clean and modern and very comfortable. I would highly recommend to anyone to book this place 😊 its so lovely 😍 the garden is stunning and the hosts are very nice. perfectly situated to visit all the local areas have to offer. amazing!!!

We enjoyed the week in Annecy very much: the apartment was very clean, cozy and fully furnished. There is a very quiet, barely visible terrace with a wonderful view of the mountains and a small part of the lake. The very clean and well-maintained pool with a pool house is just a few meters from the terrace. The neighborhood is very quiet. We always found a parking space close to the house. The entrance gate to the residential complex conveys a good sense of security. If we had any questions, the landlord answered immediately and gave us very attractive tips for companies, bakeries, restaurants, etc. We highly recommend cycling from the apartment via Rue du Capitaine Baud/ Rue de Verdun to the lake and along it to the city center. From our side there was nothing to criticize, we can fully recommend the apartment!

Loved the location of this place. A perfect little spot for the two of us for two nights in Annecy.
