Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Saint-Marcel-d'Ardèche

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Beautiful accommodation in a quiet area and surrounded by trees, ideal for families! Lots of equipment and storage for our comfort, you will also find tourist documentation to manage your stay. We would recommend it without hesitation 🙂

One of the best Airbnbs I've ever been to. The accommodation is superb, tastefully decorated and warm. I can only recommend it if you want to discover the Ardèche and stay in a spacious, cozy apartment, in which you feel really good. The village of Balazuc is beautiful, and you can walk to the beach in 10 minutes, we enjoyed it. Mary is a great host, responsive and thanks to her everything was easy and chill.

We just spent 15 days and the good weather was at the rendezvous, for those looking for calm and tranquility is the ideal place! Christine and Philippe are welcoming, warm, available and concerned for the well-being of their guests. They were good tips for sites to visit, both in the Gard and in the Ardèche which is barely 10 km away Many places to visit including the Pont du Gard, the Pont d 'Arc and the Ardèche gorges by canoe, the Aven Orgnac cave, the Sautadet waterfalls, the Nîmes bullring....) The house is well equipped and local shops are in Barjac 3km away We had a great time!

Caroline was a very good host. She was always helpful with questions. The house is even nicer than in the photos. The pool is really very large and the view is great. The terrace is also beautiful and there is a large grill. You can switch off and relax very well there. The house is a little difficult to reach by car, because the last 500 meters lead over an unpaved road. I recommend an SUV. We were 7 people and had a lot of space, as the living space and the kitchen are very large. All in all, I can definitely recommend it. We had a great time. Thank you!

Claire was very responsive and available. When we arrived, David was welcoming and left us clear instructions. The photos are very faithful to the accommodation, which is really great! We had a great weekend and highly recommend it!

Idyllic stay at Frédéric's. The house is full of charm, peaceful and very well located. The village of Balazuc is superb, staying in the heart is a real + We took full advantage of the terrace (pleasant in the morning and evening). The Ardèche is below the village (with possible departure by canoe). Frédéric is very accommodating. The arrival and departure were smooth. I highly recommend your place to stay

The four of us (with two children) spent one night in Philippes apartment while passing through. Everything was as described and we were able to recover very well for the onward journey.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, in the beautiful main village square, right in the centre of Uzès. It was peaceful, comfortable and the apartment was bright and cozy. It had a little outdoor balcony which was a nice bonus. We were thrilled to have had the opportunity of staying in this delightful place and the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. Great place to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets

Beautiful apartment tastefully decorated and recently renovated (air conditioning in the rooms which adds a real plus) Apartment ideally located in the middle of the countryside and cicadas. Annick is a very kind and generous host. You feel right at home in the authentic french farmhouse. Annick kindly shared some of her home grown cherries and apricots which were delicious. The pool was fantastic with beautiful views across lavender and vineyards. Would highly recommend you experience a stay in this lovely accommodation

We had a super nice week in this beautiful holiday home. We were welcomed by the owners with the stove already on and some goodies on the table. The owners live next to the holiday accommodation and they will give you a warm welcome. There was also friendly contact during our stay. The house is beautifully decorated with lots of touches. Really a dream house with a large garden and views. It is very quietly located and you really feel at home. The village of Labeaume can be visited on foot, is a nice walk from the house. We also went to Avignon for a day, a short drive, but worth it. The Indy Park climbing park is also recommended. The bakery and a small supermarket are close by, in Ruoms you will find a large supermarket. There is plenty to do in the area. We had a wonderful week in Yves's house. It's a great slice of paradise. Beautiful and large swimming pool, on the beautiful river Cèze and an attractively furnished house made for a nice holiday with our friends. The pétanque made it complete! We were also very well received. In short, highly recommended!

a wonderful weekend for 8 adults, time for annual reunions. A very beautiful outdoor garden overlooking the lavender fields. Everything starts with a warm welcome from the owners (who live on site but are very discreet!). A magnificent and very well-equipped house, both inside and outside! An incredible swimming pool and petanque molky volleyball activities that allow you to stay all weekend in the middle of the greenery. Very good memories, thank you to Myriam and Pascal!
