Elle est située tout près du lac du Crescent et du château de Chastellux, à quelques kilomètres de Vézelay, Avallon, Bazoches. Notre région se prête à la randonnée à pied, à vélo ou à cheval dans une nature préservée et permet aux amateurs de pêche ou de baignade de s'adonner à leur plaisir favori. La Bascule est un hameau de Chastellux, situé entre Avallon et Lormes.
