Suite in a longhouse in stone of Caen. Our cottage is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. In a hamlet of the Pays d 'Auge, 2.5 km from the village, by the roadside. The house is surrounded by a large plot of 3000m2. A large hedge surrounds the land and isolates it from the outside. Close to the Château de Canon 7 km away, the sea (Cabourg beach, Merville-Franceville, Ouistreham, ...) is 30 min away, Caen and Falaise are quickly accessible. The calm is appreciable!

18th Century Mansion – La Hanoudière

We had an unforgettable 3-day weekend, and I can say with certainty that the place is a big part of it. The photos already do the estate a great honor, but its discovery, once there, is a real experience in itself. The garden is absolutely sumptuous, and the mansion, beautiful, exudes rare charm and soul. Many activities and amenities are available: large in-ground pool (open May - September), high-end fire pit, ping pong table, foosball, spikeball, bocce court with balls provided, etc. The two living rooms, the five bedrooms and the three bathrooms allow you to stay in very large numbers without stepping on your toes, as the spaces are generous. Communication with the concierge was fluid, clear and very pleasant. In short, an exceptional place that I recommend without hesitation!

I had the perfect stay and everything was above and beyond my expectations. I could not recommend staying here more. Caroline and Francois are the most lovely hosts possible, extremely kind and very helpful. The atelier is beautiful, extremely clean (spotless in fact) and well equipped with everything you could ever need and more. The kitchen is lovely, the bed is very comfortable, shower / bathroom is excellent, and living spaces are spacious and bright. The thought and care put into the space is obvious, Caroline and Francois have excellent taste and an eye to make things both beautiful and livable. I slept like a baby (total silence at night) and loved waking up to the beautiful sunrise every morning. The surrounding area looks like a painting and is very tranquil and relaxing. Many beautiful walks are close by and the landspace is especially beautiful at sunset. Thank you Caroline, Francois, and family for having me. I very much hope to return again, merci beaucoup!

My partner Nick and I stayed here for four days over Easter and had a fantastic time. Christopher and his partner were very sweet, kind, and welcoming. They shared the fascinating history of the house, which is beautifully old and full of character. The stay was peaceful, and the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom were spotless, well-equipped, and perfect for cooking at home. The location is ideal for visiting the coast, D-Day memorials, and Lisieux with the Basilica of Saint Thérèse. The property is easy to reach, has nearby parking, a lovely garden, and you can tell it’s well cared for and loved. Livarot is a small, charming town with everything in walking distance, and the nearby villages are full of châteaux and scenic views. If you’re looking for a quiet, cozy, and beautiful place to stay, especially as a couple, this is it. We’re very happy and definitely recommend it!
