Crossed by the river and a small pond, in the heart of a vast and well-kept garden, offering varied and colorful scenery in all seasons, La Grande Aulnaie is bordered by the Fontaine-Guérard Abbey, the fascinating ruins of the Levavasseur spinning mill, and the Longboel Forest. The private woods of Fontaine-Guérard and Bonnemare are also open to our guests.

Our Gîte is located next to the forest, 20 minutes from the pretty city of Rouen, 30 minutes from Neubourg, Bec Hellouin and Lake Poses (equipped for swimming and water games), 50 minutes from Honfleur, Deauville, Monet's garden in Giverny and 1 hour from Paris. Well located for visiting both the landing beaches and the Normandy beaches. On the leisure side, you have two bikes, a petanque court and foosball. Baby equipment available upon request.

In the countryside but within walking distance of the shops of Saint Ouen du Tilleul. 5 min drive to Elbeuf center and 20 min to the heart of Rouen. Possibility to visit the educational farm, to rent a pony in hand for a discovery or to book horseback riding lessons and guided hikes in the forest.
