It's very quiet here, the house is on a dead end street, yet you are close to major cities (Geneva, Lyon, Annecy, Chambery, Aix-les-Bains) and have plenty of outdoor sports opportunities : hiking, swimming, mountain-climbing , motorboat rental, cayak, canoeing, bicycle riding. The next ski resorts are about a one hour drive

It is located 2 km from the beach of Châtillon at the end of Lake Bourget, and it is a 10-minute drive 9 km from Chanaz, a very flowery village crossed by a Roman canal that connects the Lake to the Rhône from where boats leave for Aix-les-Bains as well as the Abbey of Hautecombe, necropolis of the Kings of Italy. For bike lovers, it is possible to take excursions in the largest poplar grove in Europe.

Ideal for a couple with a child (or two). For sports enthusiasts, the Via Rhôna is a few meters walk away.

Countryside stay in an unpretentious private 50m2 garden level. Ideal for nature-loving athletes. The owners live on the upper floor but are very discreet. The cottage is located near Lac du Bourget. Here no wifi or TV but books and board games . Our cottage does NOT ACCEPT ANIMALS. Ready for a 3 seater canoe, but provide roof bars for transportation . Initiation to caving (for a fee) .no electric charging.
