We were pleasantly surprised by the little community there and especially the restaurant when we arrived rather late. Our hosts were very accommodating and pleasant. We would definitely rebook.

What an amazing place the pictures don’t do it justice. There was everything you need and more, it is very well equipped, from kitchen equipment, pool equipment and everyday necessities! We have two young boys and everything you require is already there. Our boys loved it, especially the play area and pool. Lovely hosts, lovely home and very clean and tidy If we are in the area again in the future we would no doubt book this again.

We cannot say enough great things about my stay at Sophie’s place — it was truly exceptional from start to finish. Sophie was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and responsive, making us feel at home the moment we arrived. Her hospitality set the tone for a warm and relaxing experience. The place itself was spotless. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it both cozy and beautifully maintained. It felt like a home away from home, with all the little touches that make a big difference — from linens to a well-equipped kitchen and inviting decor. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, centrally located to the Normandy sites. We appreciated how easy it was to get around. Mr. QUESNEL is a welcoming, friendly and respectful host. He informed us about the different shops and the festivities nearby. The house is well-equipped, comfortable and very pleasant to live in. We had a great time with the family. A stay to be repeated without hesitation.

We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful and peaceful countryside of Normandy. The Gite was perfect for us and our 19 month old son and we really appreciated the cot, high chair and stair gates provided. We were extremely lucky with the weather so enjoyed the amazing pool and played many games of Pétanque. Highly recommend and we would love to return.

We had an exceptional stay at Chantal and Jean's Charle. Their warm welcome made us feel immediately well. The accommodation, spacious and clean is perfect for relaxing in a quiet setting. Its location is ideal for exploring the region, with nearby restaurants, including Arromanches-sur-Mer and Bayeux, only 5 km away. Every morning, Chantal and Jean Charle prepared us a delicious breakfast, highlighting fresh products, accompanied of an excellent homemade cake. A big thank you to our hosts for their generosity and for making our stay so memorable!

Very warm welcome with Louis and Agnès. Beautiful old house, simply decorated where you feel good, quiet and warm. Well-equipped kitchen for a short trip, and pleasant living room. Clean and comfortable bedding. Clean Bathroom. Really relaxing stay. The cottage allows you to discover all the landing beach sites and museums, not to mention a big favorite for discovering the city of Bayeux, very pretty and pleasant. If you're looking for peace and quiet, don't hesitate!

The property and hosts were both excellent, we had a great time visiting an appreciated the private and beautiful location. It is very close to all Normandy historical attractions yet the property is tucked away in a small village that is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and found the hosts to be truly wonderful people. Highly recommend!

We had a short but truly lovely stay! A perfect place for our family--we could all spread out a bit after a week sharing hotel rooms. Loved the location--the views were charming. Proximity to Bayeux was excellent--less than a five minute drive to the town center parking lots. Very clean, clear instructions, and thoughtfully stocked kitchen (though we didn't cook!). We'd definitely return. Thank you for a great stop on our road trip.

We had a great weekend in this beautiful home. Hosts and co-hosts were accommodating and responsive It feels like home, the kitchen is well equipped. The proximity to Bayeux and the sea makes it a very nice place to stay for a few days We'll be happy to go back!

This is a lovely cottage with a very nice garden. Inside, the home is more spacious than the pictures show. The kitchen is well equipped, there are children's toys, the bathroom is nice with a shower and a bath. For our 2 children, the rooms were spacious enough. The cottage is clean and Magali is a nice host. It is a little out of the city and even though we didn't go it, I definitely think that's feasible. A nice base for Bayeux and surroundings!

We had a lovely 3 days in Claire’s cottage. We enjoyed the local cider, jam and nuts left as a welcome treat. Claire was quick to respond when we had questions and gave us some good recommendations for local restaurants. We would highly recommend staying at Claire’s if you are travelling to Bayeux, it is a quick drive into town. Thanks for welcoming us and being patient with our attempts to speak French.

Valerie’s place was perfect for us. It was close to many attractions and close to the train station. Highly recommend!

My family of five (three of them young children) stayed here for a few days during a three week journey around Europe. It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to visit the D-Day sites and this home made our stay 100% enjoyable. It is my favorite AirBnB I have ever stayed in. It was perfectly clean, had everything we could have thought we needed, and the location was absolutely perfect. Thank you for letting us stay in such an amazing place!

We loved our stay and enjoyed the location. Only issue is uber is very limited and no bolt so make sure to use local car rental or taxi services.

A great location. We stayed for a d-day weekend and the apartment was walking distance to everything. On site parking was a real bonus and the views from the main window were impressive. We would stay again.

Beatrice’s house was great! It is conveniently located between the town center of Bayeux and a huge grocery store. The garden yard is beautiful and amazing. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed, and the decor had a warm, maximalistic feel. The master bathroom was efficient and equipped with commode, sink, and shower. The second bath is really two half baths, one half has a sink & tub with a hand shower, but the commode is in a small room down the hall. Nevertheless, this is a great place to stay in Bayeux!

Stayed here for the 2nd time and it remains an absolutely wonderful house. Great view where you can quietly see the tides of the sea come and go in absolute peace. Regardless of the weather, this is a fantastic house, in nice weather on the terrace and with some rain a block of wood in the stove and nice in the living room stay.

Our family of 8 found the home to be exceptionally great. The accommodation is amazing with lots of room including the kitchen, baths, dining room, and roomy bedrooms. The back yard is great with many nice touches. The separate yellow bedroom is great for being so close to the main house. We were greeted by Marcel and his family at check-in, they live next door so always easy to communicate with. Parking for two cars reserved directly in front of the property was a nice touch. The host added some nice additions such as cold drinks, coffee and even champagne!! Highly recommend for a family traveling together!

We had a great stay, the accommodation was comfortable and tastefully decorated, small private terrace comfortable and pleasant. We appreciated that the accommodation was a little secluded, because we were in a quiet area but everything is quite close by car.

We had a most wonderful stay at Morgane and Baptiste cottage in beautiful Normandy. It was the perfect location for a relaxed getaway from everyday busy life. The place itself is lovely, a really restful space with that was perfectly clean, comfortable and cosy. We had great days where we spent most of it there, resting and relaxing. The location was good too, 5 minutes from amenities, 20 minutes from Juno beach and 15 from Caen, so there’s plenty to do, without having to go far. And our hosts were fantastic! Really friendly, quick to respond and ready to give advice. They helped us plan a journey into Paris, and took time to say farewell when we left - we left really impressed!
