Gorgeous Cornish cottage in picturesque village

This unique place has a style all of it’s own. One of the oldest houses in the village of Golant. A true secret spot. The Fishermans Arms Pub is only 30 yards away down by the water’s edge. Fowey is a short 10 min drive or you can walk along the path by the estuary. This is a 3 mile, scenic walk which is the final part of the incredible Padstow to Fowey Saint’s Way. In Fowey you will find some wonderful independent shops and eateries and can also enjoy a swim at Ready Money Cove.

A 7-8 minute walk down the hill will get you to the centre of the historical town of Lostwithiel where there are a variety of independent shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes and a small supermarket and the beautiful River Fowey. Lostwithiel Railway Station is a 5 minute walk, and is on the mainline from London to Penzance.

The Cottage is within the grounds of our home, Trevelyan, in a beautiful rural part of south east Cornwall. Coming by car is essential. It is an old farm building, sympathetically converted using the available space. The shower room is compact but perfectly adequate, there is a bedroom, kitchen/dining room and the living room has folding doors to bring the outside in!
