Holiday houses in Sainte-Croix-à-Lauze

We had 2 wonderful weeks in the "Petite Maison". The descriptions and pictures correspond 100 percent to what was found and are actually much better! We felt very comfortable: the furnishings of the holiday home leave nothing to be desired; it has a wonderfully quiet location and the charming town of Rustrel has all the amenities with a bakery, grocery store, post office and bistros/restaurants. Stephane is a very friendly and helpful host. But we were also inspired by his works of art in the garden and in the house. Thank you for letting us see it. Stephane, we'd love to come back!

Our family of 5 had the most wonderful stay at this charming farmhouse on a quiet street near the village of Gordes. La Bastide des As is absolutely beautiful, blending rustic charm with chic decor and modern amenities. The house is spacious and cozy, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the lovely pool and outdoor dining areas- perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the surrounding villages. Sophie was truly amazing. She was incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and going out of her way to make our stay special. She sent us advance recommendations on activities, dining, vineyards and shopping. Her warm hospitality really added to the experience. It’s a lovely place for anyone looking to unwind in the heart of Provence—a perfect combination of tranquility and modern comforts. We can’t wait to return!

We spent 4 days in this beautiful cottage and would have liked to stay longer. It is originally furnished, the bed is very comfortable and the linen linens perfect for the hot days. And Phédia is a great host! She greeted us very kindly and gave us good tips for the markets and restaurants. We - and our dog Camillo - particularly enjoyed the enchanting little garden seating area and the long walks around the village. We were in Provence for the first time and thanks to this great experience certainly not the last time!!!

I can’t say enough about the Slow House. This was one of the best AirBnB experiences we’ve ever had (and we’ve had a lot)! First - this home is incredibly decorated and finished. The whole place is expertly designed, it’s very spacious and is downright beautiful! You could easily fit a large family or multiple groups of friends here. We ended up spending our entire first day at the house because we loved it so much. Second - the location is GREAT! We loved Ansouis! Small, quiet but with a good grocery and a couple good restaurants. VERY easy to get all over Provence (generally in less than an hour)! Third - Roxanne was the most responsive host we’ve had. She was accommodating, generous and gave great suggestions. We LOVED the Slow House! You simply won’t find a better stay in Provence!!

We had a great stay. The location is beautiful and peaceful. Pauline was responsive and friendly and was kind enough to arrange transport for us to a wedding through her father. The outdoor space was great - lovely pool. There is plenty to visit in the area. Highly recommend.

This was one of the best places we ever stayed at. Everything was super clean. We felt right at home, with the kitchen being set up with every equipment needed to make nice meals. It is just a short drive out of Gordes which makes it perfect to wind down. Its such a beautiful peaceful surroundings. Super easy to drive to all the other towns in the area. We had a great time outdoors in the beautiful garden, with a lovely dining set up and the pool, also pool towels were provided which was amazing. Everything was just great and we would definitely come back.

Our stay was absolutely lovely! The space is exactly as pictured and advertised. We used the pools, games, and enjoyed private space. Although the property is connected to the family’s private home, you feel secluded and privacy while safe knowing you’re close to them as locals - they did an incredible job designing the space. This spot is the perfect location to explore Provence. Morgane had great recommendations and set us up for a wonderful trip. Cucuron and Ansouis are within 5 miles and perfect for food or pastries. The peacefulness, opportunity for adventure inside and outside the property, and Morgane’s attentiveness make this one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at. Would highly recommend this beautiful property!

We immediately felt comfortable! A beautiful vacation home, with a perfectly equipped kitchen, beautiful rooms, a magnificent garden with pool and French charm in many corners of the house. We can fully recommend the house and would definitely come back! Kind regards from the whole family
