Good place to stay in Salango and enjoy all the activities in the area

It was the first time we visited the place and we loved the experience, the accommodation is just like the photos, the hosts are very friendly and helped us with recommendations about the place, the place is very quiet and comfortable, we would definitely return

Recs: 1) Guided 4 hour kayaking, snorkeling, and paddleboarding with Miguel - expert on scheduling the best time for the water, weather, and location. We went to Isla El Sucre from Machalilla which he drove us to and saw blue footed booobies (unique seabirds!) 2) Pt. Lopez for groceries at Tia and ATM cash withdrawals (Banco Pichincha.) Taxis are cheaper when you flag them down and share the ride with other locals/strangers. 3) Manta for malls or other special shopping, only $5 each way by bus. Max 20 minutes wait at the bus stop. As a solo female traveler I always felt safe, just be smart and aware as usual. 4) Pt. Rico street food - around 6pm cheese empanadas, chicken chifles, and beef walking tacos are sold on front porches near the bodega in town. 5) Montanita Lost Beach dance club. 6) Ayampe restaurants (corviche, Italian, and farm-to-table.) 7) Fernando for delivering fresh organic produce, eggs, hot meals, chicken empanadas, and peanut butter ceviche (Ecuador staple, must try!)

I loved this place, very nice and accessible for family or group trips. The place is very quiet and the people are very friendly, it was a nice deal from the host, I highly recommend this place for its many features that this very nice house has. We had a great weekend in Salango, I would definitely come back, thank you.
