A more than 130-year-old log cabin in the cultural heritage landscape of Suvanto takes its residents on a time journey to a 19th-century Ostrobothnian village. The destination is best suited for lovers of Lapland's nature, history and silence, who are not afraid of the dark in winter or mosquitoes in summer. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

We spent a ski vacation with kids and grandchildren. The stay was a great fit for our needs,there was plenty of space to spend time together. The location was great near downtown and a trip to the fell center. The outdoors was also right next to the stay. The house was cozy,clean,well-equipped. It was also great that Host Olli was there to give the key and instructed the house. Communication was playing. Highly recommended!

The cottage was a short distance from the center and it was easy to find. The equipment in the cottage was really good and the hot tub was a highlight, especially for the children's trip :) You could also invest a little more in cleanliness outside the seasons, for example, dust balls under the beds. But this was the only minus, we would come again!

We had a fantastic stay at Jaana ’s place for our cross-country skiing weekend! The location was perfect, the accommodations were comfortable, and the host was incredibly flexible and responsive, making everything super easy for us. After long days on the trails, it was great to come back to a cozy space. Highly recommend—would definitely stay again!
