Come and discover the Lauragais and the surroundings between the Canal du Midi and the Toulouse region on one side about 50 minutes away and on the other Carcassonne with its superb city. Living room/kitchen on the ground floor then upstairs a transition room with a modular bed for 2 people, and a bedroom with bathroom and sink.

Highway access is 10 minutes away in Villefranche-de-Lauragais, 30 minutes from Toulouse, and 20 minutes from Castelnaudary. It is 4 km from the La Ganguise watersports center. There is a grocery store and a restaurant in the village. Just 4 km away, you’ll find a village with small shops. You will enjoy the sound of birds and the tranquility.

This magnificent Gite is in reality an old sheepfold, completely renovated with all modern comforts! Right in the middle of the fields, calm will be there! You will enjoy the gentle way of life of the south and the magnificent colors of Lauragais. The cottage is as pleasant in summer as in winter, in fact the enormous stone walls are an excellent barrier against the heat in summer. And in winter you will enjoy long evenings by the fire. Many activities in the area possible!

Boat on the Canal du Midi near Toulouse

The boat is located between Toulouse and Castelnaudary. This house boat is rented as a river gite; it will not be possible to sail. The goal is to discover the calm and tranquility of the Canal du Midi by staying on the "Dimples". My place is close to several restaurants and family-friendly activities are nearby. (water games, equestrian center, brand village). A bike ride under the plane trees of the bike path is recommended.
