On trail: Arts village Wassaic (3 miles south) Millerton (8 miles north). Train to NYC is 2.5m south. Tons in area: wineries, distillery, lakes, hiking, theatre & quaint towns.

Nestled amongst the trees below Bonticou Crag this is a great base camp for climbing, hiking and biking. Five minutes from New Paltz; I do recommend having a car to access the area. Shared yard and fire pit right outside. My family and I live in the main part of the house. The outside area and house are still under construction, I’m working on it but its not put together yet. The apartment and inside area are clean and newly built with their own mini split and air circulation.

Fil & Ellie’s place was the perfect stay for our getaway. Their home is amazing. We were very impressed by the amenities, the cleanliness and attention to detail. I had a wonderful stay at Mara’s place! She is an incredibly responsible and attentive host — everything was spotless and well taken care of. The space itself is beautifully designed, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. I especially loved the stunning view over the Hudson Valley waterfront, which made each morning and evening feel extra special. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a serene, well-maintained getaway.
