Cabin holiday rentals in Salt Spring Island

Stayed here with some friends for a weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! The cabin was beautiful and the perfect size for the four of us. It had everything we needed and the host even provided delicious baked goods, eggs, milk and more. The backyard hot tub and bbq were great. The host was extremely communicative and so lovely to deal with. Will definitely be coming back the next chance I get!

We stayed at Cusheon Lake Resort while on Saltspring for work. Glen met us to make sure that we had our orientation as we checked in. We stayed in cabin 2 and it was stunning - a beautiful space, comfortable, peaceful and with a beautiful view of the lake. One of us stayed on the sofa bed which was great for our needs. Having a kitchen available to us was also a big benefit to us as we worked long hours. It was such a treat to come back to a hot tub & sauna after a long day’s work. We also made use of the paddle boards for an early morning paddle. We loved our stay here and look forward to our next!

This has been our favorite Airbnb stay ever! The views are insanely beautiful..it was honestly mind blowing! Sunny and Aparna went above and beyond to ensure our family was comfortable and well taken care of. They were the most friendly and helpful hosts we have encountered. The hot tub was wonderful and the kitchen was well stocked. We very strongly recommend staying at this beautiful cottage!

Armaan’s place is a charming little haven—perfect for a peaceful retreat. The cabin was spotless and filled with thoughtful touches that made the stay extra special. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the deck and hot tub felt like pure luxury. Waking up to the sounds of birds and being surrounded by nature truly grounded my spirit. I hope to return again soon!

A perfectly positioned cabin on the lake with all the amenities one might desire. The hot tub was perfect for our cold wet weekend. The host were always quick to help and make our stay the best.

What A beautiful arrival, the ambiance at night was magical, the views and atmosphere during the day were also very soothing, tranquil. Very eclectic accomodations, right down to the art in the suite.

Wandas place was a haven for those just looking for a break from the city. Close to great restaurants like crow & gate and Mahle. Close to relaxing easy but scenic trails. Parks. Farmers market on sundays (maybe weekends) Big and really quiet space.

10/10 would stay again (and did, just now!)… this was our second time to Alex and Laura’s place… they really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and the place is super cozy and all the natural light coming in through the trees alone makes it worthwhile! I work on the island when I’m around, and the walk to Sturdies Bay is gorgeous and very quick… you can arrive on foot and make it to theirs if you don’t carry too much with you… it’s about a 40 minute walk to the ferry… Thanks again so much guys!

Stayed here 2 nights and it was exactly what I hoped it would be. Spotless linens and super comfortable bed. Julia is a wonderful host who has a beautiful property. Would definitely book again.

This fully renovated cabin was squeaky clean, cozy and welcoming. All the details and decor made it feel like at home. Kitchen was fully equipped, more than described. You can tell Curt had thought through how to keep the guests comfortable and enjoyable during the stay. Bathroom was bright and spacious with a big bathtub. The bed was superb (slept like a baby), the linens were spotless clean and fresh which was very important to me. I appreciate the space very much. I’ll be back.

Lovely, relaxing weekend at Scott’s cabin. The tiny home had all we needed and our leashed dog was welcome in their yard. We were a little ahead of tourist season, so it was a little too cool to enjoy the lovely deck. A great location, central to everything!

We enjoyed the accommodations thoroughly. Very private, rustic setting. Bright kitchen on the sunny day and a nice deck to enjoy your morning coffee, or late night toast. Well appointed/stocked with handy items. The coffee beans and grinder was an awesome touch for a coffee lover (me), and the drinking water/ dispenser supplied was SO appreciated. Well done

Glamping on a farm - a tranquil experience :) We were greeted by Lisa on arrival and were provided a fun tour of the farm. After that, you are free to roam the farm and pet the animals on your own, which was really cool! My dogs could roam off leash around the vicinity of the cabin which they loved. Tips for fellow visitors: If you are 6 feet or taller you probably don’t want to book the bunk beds in the cabin. They are very short and we could not stretch our legs. If it is raining, there is no under cover area to hang out outside without getting wet, so plan on a cozy evening inside and bring books (and head lamp) and games! Tara’s place was perfect for our stay in Salt Spring Island! The cabin was absolutely beautiful, cozy and clean, and Tara went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Super clear check-in/check-out instructions, tons of local recommendations, and always so responsive if we had any questions. And we loved having the company of the goats and alpacas :) Would absolutely love to stay again if we make it back to Salt Spring and would recommend her place to anyone looking for a Gulf Island getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin in the woods. It is very secluded and peaceful, but it is a short drive to places of interest like Roche Harbor. Shannon was a great host, and I would stay there again.

A beautiful and serene stay at this adorable cottage. Lots of love and care have gone into ensuring a most pleasant stay. Just a short drive from Gagnes village for restaurants and local artisans galore. Host was always responsive when needed. Bed was super comfy and the heated bathroom floor was a delight during the cooler evenings. Would highly recommend this quaint stay!

Marcia is the most amazing hostess, she welcomed us like old friends, super warm, helpful and responsive. This place is amazing, beautiful, comfortable, cozy and so unique. the type of airbnb that you don’t really see anymore on the loveliest property (loved having all the animals above) and the warmest hosts. We will definitely be back.

We had an amazing stay. The cabin was inviting and cozy, and we were relaxed immediately walking up to it. Robin was very kind and we enjoyed talking with him. Joni gave us an amazing tour of the property, and answered the many questions we had about the area and things to do/see. The location was also perfect. Close to town but far enough to feel secluded, and the lookout across the street was wonderful. We highly recommend staying at their cabin!

Susie was great - clear, friendly, and helpful every step of the way. The cottage is just lovely. We were two adults and the space was perfectly apportioned and the bed and sofa bed were both comfortable. The bathroom is huge and spotless. The orientation of the cottage is such that the back deck is super private and looks out over an interesting and lovely natural space (with lots of wildlife). There’s also a fantastic (large!) table out there to eat or play games. We walked up from the ferry and went for a bunch of hikes over the next two days. Bliss.

This is a lovely little cottage - a truly heavenly experience watching the sunsets each night and being quiet with nature. We loved making dinner on the BBQ and sitting on the couch outside, and the cottage was stocked with tons of amenities that made cooking really easy. The shower is a bit awkward but accessibility could be easily improved with a removable/handheld shower head - overall an amazing stay and we hope to come back!
