Stylish Cornish Cottage

ColinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great break at Harper's Cottage, Richard and Ute were great hoss.. We had a great welcome and quick tour, lots of good recommendations for where to eat out and about the area in general. All the small touches at the cottage add up to a great stay. Well equipped kitchen, lovely linens, dog beds, great shower, great hot tub, all of it was Fab. The cottage was very private, with amazing views from the garden and the conservatory. We hope to visit again next time we are in Cornwall.

Very lovely place, me and my girlfriend stayed here for a weekend and had no complaints. The host responded quickly and the property looked exactly like the photos. All the extra little touches like the fire wood, slippers, eggs and etc really made us feel welcome. Overall we really enjoyed our stayed and would happily stay here again.

Beautifully Renovated Blackberry Cottage

Kimberley Ann MarieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
BlackBerry cottage is a must stay. From the day we booked Andrea was super responsive and made us feel welcome before we even arrived. Check in was easy and Andrea met us at the property. Not only was the location idyllic but the accommodation was clean, comfortable and had a wow factor. We loved cooking in the kitchen which has everything you need for whatever you decide to cook. Both bedrooms were super comfortable and the bathroom done to a high standard. Felt like a boutique hotel. Our dog also joined us and he was very happy with the stone floors throughout the ground floor, dog bowls and enclosed garden and patio. We really enjoyed reading and drinking a coffee with the patio doors open taking in the Devon landscapes. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay again. Thank you again Andrea.

The Old Dairy, “a unique, romantic retreat”

HelenRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We stayed in the cottage for 5 days. The garden was like a small, beautiful paradise, someone has very green fingers. The tub and views were amazing. Inside the cottage was exceptionally clean, with all the amenities you would ever need, of a high quality. Great comfy bed too. Excellent location for exploration. Very friendly and homely pub 1 min walk away. Good parking. Why are you reading the reviews? Book now, it’s fantastic! Thank you Ashley.

Swallow Cottage

AnneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great stay here in the village of Sticker. It is on the main bus route from St Austell to Truro, so was very easy to get to from the train station (which is next to the bus station). Steve & Sue were very welcoming and helpful, and the cottage had everything we needed for our 12 day stay. There is a pub and a village shop/post office a short walk away, so very convenient. We hired a car and found it very easy to get about as we were so central. It was lovely to come back after a day’s sightseeing to the peace and quiet of our cosy cottage (and sit in the garden when the weather permitted!). We would not hesitate to recommend Steve’s cottage!

Waterfront Boathouse - Drift Cottage

HeatherRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a treat! We had a 4 night stay in this beautiful house where every last detail has been thought about to add to your enjoyment and comfort. Everything was first class, very comfortable beds and pillows, spotless bathrooms with proper size towels, plenty of good cutlery and tableware, utensils for cooking if you wanted to cook. The house was a delight with lovely deep sofas overlooking one of the balconies to the ever changing landscape of the waters beyond. It would be hard not to enjoy whatever the weather throws at you! Thank you for sharing this very special place Joe and Sarah

Cliff Face in Living Room! Beach 1 Min. Looe

RachaelRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a lovely stay at Mario's. The accommodation is very comfortable and the decor is beautiful. You'll find everything you need, and then some. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot and strong. The kitchen was well equipped and seemed to have everything, though we didn't cook, so I can't really say more. The welcome basket was thoughtful and generous and much appreciated. Looe itself is a pretty little town, but unfortunately it is inundated with tourists which makes it feel overcrowded during the main part of the day. It's definitely wise to book any restaurants in advance. The streets are incredibly narrow, so definitely best to park in one of the carparks at the base of the town. Having said that, once you're in, it's a very easy stroll into town and to the coastal walks, as long as you don't have any mobility issues. All in all, it's a lovely cottage and good value. Thanks Mario.

The location is ideal – just a short stroll into the village, meaning we could pop out for morning pastries or evening meals without worrying about parking. The views from the windows are exactly what you dream of for a Cornish getaway. A truly memorable stay in a charming corner of Cornwall!

Historic Cartuther Barton Cottage with a view

WendyRating, 5 starstoday
What can I say Bonnie and David are not Superhosts they are way beyond that! They were so friendly and accommodating right from the start, especially after I quite literally fell at David’s feet. The cottage was delightfully decorated and had everything you required and more. The bed , once I’d managed to climb into it was so comfortable. The welcome goodies were much appreciated and the dogs were a delight, my Mum wanted to bring Layla home. The views over the valley from the garden were stunning, you didn’t notice the busy road a little to the right. It was so relaxing. The cottage probably isn’t ideal for people with limited mobility like me, the stairs are a bit of a challenge but I was determined to stay and I managed. I have visited Cartuther Barton since being a young child, staying in the main farmhouse when it was a B&B. Bonnie was kind enough to give us a tour and it was wonderful to see Bonnie’s and David’s restoration of the property back to its manorial origins.

Escape to the sea cottage.

HannahRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a clean, beautiful cottage in such calm surroundings - we've enjoyed every minute. The cottage was perfect - clean and tidy with stunning nautical decor, we felt right at home the minute we walked in. The view of the sea is much better than described - a highlight for me was sitting in bed drinking my morning coffee watching the waves! The beach is a 2 minute walk away and we had it pretty much to ourselves. Sadly we didn't catch a glimpse of the local dolphins! The garden is full of beautiful flowers - the access is from the road up a path with steps thru the garden. The kitchen had everything we needed in the way of utensils/cutlery/crockery, the bedrooms were clean with fresh bedding, the lounge was well stocked with games/books/dvds which the kids loved. Nick was extremely responsive and proactive, very helpful when I messaged him, and we were very grateful for a bit of flexibility on checkout. Overall a lovely relaxing experience - can't wait to return!! Thank you!
