Family-friendly holiday rentals in Salvagnac-Cajarc

We had a great stay in this very nice house, located in the middle of nature—very calm and peaceful. The check-in was easy with a concierge system from the owner (they also manage other houses in the area). The house is big and comfortable, with a large kitchen and living room. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. The decoration is like a small museum, full of beautiful objects from local shops and galleries, mixed with modern comfort. Beds are large and very comfortable. Everything is provided: bed linen, towels, and even bathrobes. The amenities are excellent: hot tub with jets, outdoor jacuzzi, heated pool, and gas barbecue. The owners answered very quickly when we had questions.

Great stay! The hosts are very nice and welcoming. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and well equipped, exactly as described. Very well located, with several nice cities nearby for visits.

We were greeted by Lucille , who spoke perfect English and Monsieur . We were shown all about the house, how to operate the jacuzzi and given excellent recommendations for the area. The booklet was invaluable particularly for village market days. The house is so attractively deco and so comfortable with everything you need to make your stay troubles free and relaxing. As we are from Australia we loved cooking outside on the BBQ. Being supplied with wraps for the jacuzzi was much appreciated as was the jacuzzi after climbing lots of steps visiting the castles. Our hosts all came to farewell us which was a lovely friendly touch. We thank you all for your lovely home and generous spirit of welcome. This is an excellent Perigord base and we strongly recommend it.

We were welcomed by Didier one night. It was warm and thoughtful because he bought us a “survival kit” for breakfast and recommended us the exceptional places to visit…this area is a real favorite. The cottage is great, you feel at home very quickly with the spacious living room and its superb fireplace, the comfortable bedding, as well as the hot tub that served every day. The outside is amazing, it's in the middle of the quiet greenery, where crickets accompany our days and evenings. The cottage is equipped for children…toys, books, bikes, swings and slides. A stone's throw from the Château de Bonaguil, it's easy to enjoy one of the most beautiful castles in the area as well as the restaurant downstairs. Didier, thank you so much for this week, it was perfect!

If you're looking for a quiet oasis in the countryside, this is the place to be! The view is magnificent, the sunset a dream. The treehouse is comfortably furnished, in the kitchen there are the most important utensils so you can cook well at home. In the vicinity there are countless small tranquil villages, which are among the most beautiful places in France. In the preseason, some activities, such as canoeing, are usually not yet open, which did not bother us as we mainly focused on hiking and resting. Anne is a wonderful hostess - she was quickly available for questions and stopped by if necessary. Gladly again :-)

We spent 4 nights in Bertrand's home. The place matches the description in every way and the view is even more beautiful than you can imagine. In total calm, impeccably clean and with the cherry Nordic bath on the cake we can only recommend it. In addition, Bertrand was very accessible. We clearly keep the address to redo if the opportunity arises.

Exceptional!! Everything was absolutely perfect, the place is beautiful and very well decorated. Gilles and Nicole are extremely kind and welcomed us very well to their peaceful haven. We were also able to enjoy the jacuzzi, the heated pool and the small vegetable garden in their garden. The optional breakfast was also delicious. These few days in their cottage were a truly enchanting break.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sophie and Daniel’s Cap de Rivière. We received a very warm welcome on our arrival and immediately felt at home. We had a great pool, 6 bikes, table tennis, boule, billiards and darts to keep us fully occupied. The gardens were beautiful and the outdoor spaces perfect for enjoying the long hot days. The house was striking in its decor and very well equipped with everything we needed. Sophie and Daniel were the perfect hosts and we would love to return one day.

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

We loved this accommodation. The highlight is the large terrace looking over the village and church, where you can eat and relax. The house is spacious and very comfortable with everything you need.

I highly recommend Jean Yves' lovely place. Located in a small village typical of the Heart of Causse, quiet, we enjoyed our stay with the family of our Lotois stay. Jean Yves is at the top,very welcoming, responsive, we will surely come back!.

Dominique and Francois really did their utmost to make me happy. Always available...never intrusive and very helpful and friendly. Also a quiet sweet dog (Django) The garden is beautiful and the cottage comfortable with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Good shower...great bed, complete kitchen. Easy access to the river with the possibility of mooring your own boat at one of the jetties. In short... I had a TOP holiday and have already booked again. We loved our stay so much and look forward to returning. The house and extensive grounds are quite beautiful and very peaceful. Perfect in every way. Diana and her husband were perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome.

We stayed for 10 nights as 5 adults and 3 kids all under the age of 5. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the size of space and facilities available were excellent and we felt right at home. The cellar was a big hit with the adults and we all enjoyed the pool day and night. Plenty of nice villages and towns within driving distance if you want to get out and explore which we did on several occasions. Rachel will keep you right with plenty of local tips and info she’s a great host. I’m sure we will be back, thanks again

We loved our month in Jamblusse, beautiful little village with a big church bell. The home has everything you need - multiple spaces to hang out, cook, dine, draw, play games etc. Our 2 year old son was in absolute heaven. Beautiful natural pool and lovely wood burner for cooler evenings. We’d highly recommend it for a break away.

Very nice cottage, very well-equipped, clean. Really no complaints. Great hospitality from Huguette, a very nice and cheerful person. Really nothing to say.

Isabelle has been the most amazing host ever! She was amazing when we arrived and continued to check up on us and offer recommendations. When we needed help with something she was always there for aid and recommendations. She also saved us when the train strike cancelled our train be getting a driver to take us to Toulouse. The house was pristine and absolutely beautiful as well as the surroundings.

To be booked without a second thought! The charm, the calm, the landscape, everything is there!

We had a pleasant stay in an exceptional place Extremely spacious, beautiful, large library with piano, floor and very well-equipped rooms. Awesome pool Elisabeth was very welcoming and very responsive. I would highly recommend this exceptional property.

We were accompanied by very young children and we did not realize that this accommodation was a little dangerous for them (sloping stairs) but they discovered the trampoline and that was great!! Maybe the small criticism: the surroundings of the pool, the natural pool (beautiful by the way) and the cottage were not yet maintained, too bad because the children could not go there by walking, it was necessary to carry them. But in the end, we had a great time. Kind regards
