The host was very attentive to everything and they were very, very, very kind. The arrival is as advertised, you have to walk and climb stairs but it is worth it when you arrive. The view and the 3 floors are beautiful. Unfortunately, we were there right at the weekend of the celebration of Mother's Day and in the village they began the celebration in the early morning so we could not sleep comfortably, but we understand that it is out of the host's hands. Everything else is excellent! Especially the view.

The house and location are beautiful. The groundskeeper is always available and willing to help, checking on us on a daily basis. The host provided tour services and was very communicative. The house is clean but there is some room for improvement. Please note: the house has a lot of steps/stairs, which is typical on a lake front property around Atitlan, but if you are traveling with an elderly group or disable guest, I would suggest staying at a hotel with accessible amenities. That said, we enjoyed our stay here, the views, amenities, and hot tub. PS: This is our second time in Atitlan, and we felt the prices of several services have gone up by a large margin (laundry services, home made meals, transportation (boat and Tuk Tuk), tours). Prices are going up globally so we expected a change but not as much. Expect to pay a tourist tax but pay attention. As a family, we support the local economy, and are aware and okay with paying extra but nobody likes feeling taken advantage of.

Excellent stay, it is one of the best lakefront houses that we have visited with my friends. We'll definitely be back. 🙌🙌

Lakeview on the Rocks was an unforgettable stay! The drive in is definitely an adventure down bumpy Guatemalan roads, but once you arrive, it’s pure magic. The views are stunning and the home is spacious and accommodating for many people and beautifully maintained. Plus the private beach and water toys are a plus! Marlon was an amazing host—super responsive, helped provide yoga blocks and mat, and even helped when I fell sick on the last day. Rodolfo organized local guides and a fantastic private chef, and stayed in touch throughout. Victoriano, the groundskeeper, was kind and always available for anything we needed. The ladies even have traditional dress and shalls available to borrow. Just a heads-up: the water pressure is low (plan hair washing accordingly) and the local dogs can be a bit noisy. That said, we loved every moment—well worth the journey! We actually can't wait to visit Guatemala again in the future!
