Apartment holiday rentals in San Basilio, Rome

Very nice appartement for a city where appartement are usually very small. If you looking to tour and rest, it's one of the place. Spacious, very Italian, great vibe. All beddings, showers, kitchen were great. Despite the traffic, the appartement is very quiet and very large. Coming with two couple or even three you will have plenty of space. We were a party of 3 and it was really big for us, everyone had their own space. Pietro was very helpful and helped us feel welcome in Rome! Thank you!

The apartment is very clean, tidy, in a very quiet area, served by supermarkets, bars and pizzerias. Eleonora is a really helpful and sweet person. I couldn't ask for better.

An experience that deserves to be lived! You will forever remain in our memory. The view is better than in the photos and we couldn't get away from the windows. The movement in the fountain, contrary to what one might think, does not hinder the experience; on the contrary, it only makes everything more memorable. When the soundproof windows are closed, no noise can be heard. We love it!

Otima location, we did everything by walk! We love to walk, so we went to the Vatican on foot. Everything was perfect, very easy to get around the area, good bars and restaurants… the apartment is spacious and complete and the air conditioning was great.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay—it felt like the apartment has character! Everything matched the photos and description perfectly, and the place is equipped with everything you need for daily living. We were delighted by the vinyl record player and great vinyl selection—a charming, personal touch! Wi‑Fi was stable and reliable throughout our stay. The apartment is in a historic building in a genuine, non-touristy neighborhood—it felt refreshingly local. Metro is just a 5‑minute walk away, and there are plenty of shops–cafes–restaurants nearby. Communicating with Piera was a pleasure, and the seamless self check‑in/check‑out made everything stress‑free. Next time we’re in Rome, we wouldn’t hesitate to return—would happily stay again if possible!

Paola’s place was truly great! Great location, beautiful flat, close to all of the sites that you want to see in Rome! Many great restaurants and cafe’s nearby with easy access to the train and metro for longer hauls. As a host, Paola was incredibly responsive from the second we booked. She was helpful with recommendation and extremely flexible when we arrived early and asked to check in at 1pm. We would recommend to our friends and family!

The place is in a great location. The market is a hop away and the cafe downstairs makes a very strong Americano. There were some issues out of their control in regard to luggage drop off and communication was spot on. This did however lead to a delay in the turn over and the place was still being cleaned at 4pm. There was a comment about the linens being old and that is definitely true. The towels are old and the comforter was worn. However, the location and price are unbeatable

Muzio made our stay in Rome wonderful. He was very flexible on check in and check out, and even helped us with a luggage storage issue on our last day. He made good recommendation and sent several great maps. He was incredibly responsive. The unit was in a great location, and walking to the main Rome attractions was possible for most places. We actually walked to the Vatican, the Colosseum, and many other places. The unit bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Though in a busy neighborhood it was reasonably quiet. Most importantly, in the middle of a heat wave, the AC worked great! Thanks Muzio!!

Christiana’s penthouse apartment is amazing. The pictures don’t do it justice. The views of the Coloseum and skyline are amazing, particularly the sunsets. Christiana is super communicative throughout. One of the best Airbnb hosts I’ve ever had. She kindly provided snacks, coffee and tea, a bottle of prosecco… I highly recommend Christiana’s penthouse.

We spent a few days at Lia's, and we had a great time. The location is ideal, because it is close to transport and quiet. All the necessary equipment is present, and the accommodation was very clean. Our host is very responsive and responds quickly to messages. We are pleased to recommend this accommodation for a stay in Rome. Thanks for your hospitality!

Stefano’s place is lovely, loads of space and everything you need. Lots of places to eat close by and the metro just a short walk away to take you right into the centre of the City, literally a few stops away. The outdoor area is just perfect and a great way to relax after a busy day! Stefano was always quick to respond on everything before & during our stay. Would highly recommend a stay here if visiting Rome.

It was a nice apartment. It was two-storey and spacious. There were separate air conditioners for both floors. The kitchen was complete. The location of the apartment is really great. The farthest place to visit is 20-25 minutes walk away. Which you have to do if you come to Rome. There is a different history on each street.

Our stay at this Airbnb villa from June 11th to 14th, 2025, was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived until our departure, everything was simply five-star. First, the villa itself is excellent. It's beautifully appointed, comfortable, and truly felt like a luxurious home away from home. But what truly sets this property apart is its incredible, central location. We literally walked to every major attraction! The Vatican, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain – everything was easily accessible on foot, which saved us so much time and hassle. From the very beginning Fidia was proactive and very responsive! We were sent the house manual right away with all the directions and recommendations right at hand. Their assistant, Allan, was there to greet us when we checked in and he gave us a tour of the home and went over all of the instructions. Fidia also recommended crazy4rome for our tours and they were also fantastic. All of our transportation was arranged for us as well. The home is located right in central Rome and is walkable to many great restaurants and attractions. Would definitely go back!
