Kid-friendly holiday rentals in San Cristóbal Island

I wish we would’ve stayed at their place the entire time we were in San Cristobal. It was clean spacious had a kitchen, large refrigerator and the location couldn’t have been better. The outside patio was amazing and our host were the best host ever! If you get a chance to stay, I’d stay. It’s not the Ritz, but who needs the Ritz when you’re in paradise? It’s three floors up. It’s good exercise that’s how I look at it but if you have a problem with walking or climbing stairs, get a first floor place to stay.

from the outside, the place looks a bit like it's unfinished construction, but that's true for a lot of places in San cristobal. But step inside and wow, what a gorgeous place.

Home was what we expected and clean. Right in the city and close to everything! Very spacious and best bang for your buck in the area! Definitely recommend!

Sonia's place is a cute house. It's an easy walk to the city center, as well as to a local beach. Sonia and Vale were very responsive when we had questions. Vale was very helpful and friendly in arranging tours and taxis. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks again to great hosts!

Wonderful location on San Cristobal! We loved relaxing in the hammocks on the front porch, watching the action in the harbor, and listening to the sea lions. There are a couple of rocks across the street where the Blue Footed Boobies like to perch, so we loved going to observe them up close. The sea lion colony is right there, it was so much fun watching the families - mothers and nursing babies, sea lions playing with each other. We could actually see the house across the harbor from the pier when we got off the ferry, and we walked right to it. On our last day we walked a half mile to the airport. We also walked to Playa Loberia which was about 2 miles each way. The snorkeling there was amazing - we swam with sea turtles and all kinds of fish. The house was great - the 3 bedrooms had great air conditioners for sleeping at night. Our stay was wonderful and we'd love to go back!

Many thanks to María Elena and Carlos for the great hospitality they showed! My family had a very nice time and the house was very comfortable for our needs. I was a little far from the dock but it's only a 10 minute walk but with her taxi recommendations it was more than enough for my parents to move around easily. Thank you very much for everything!

Asdru is a very responsive and accommodating host, and the person present on site is easily available in case of need. The accommodation is clean, large (for a family of 4) and functional. The neighborhood has little interest but calm. It has a mini market quite close by. In the areas for improvement, a drinking water dispenser is missing and there is no air conditioning in the master bedroom. The fan is appreciated although noisy.

Everything perfect, beautiful Airbnb. It's a bit tiring to climb the hill in the heat, but it's worth it for the incredible balcony with a view and hammocks. Good communication, cleanliness and faithful to the ad. I highly recommend it!!

I stayed at Tania's for one night and it was great for my needs. The rental is well located, and everything is accessible. The bakery and store downstairs open early for any requirements. All main restaurants are just a few blocks away. The unit is up a few flights of stairs which keeps bugs out of the unit. The portable a/c is an evaporative cooler, so be advised if you are sensitive to heat. Tania is a great host who was always quick with a reply to any question I had. Check in was easy and the unit is practical for a short stay. I would stay again, Thank you Tania!!

The apartment was perfect for me, not very bright and without big windows but exactly what I was looking for, cool thanks to the air conditioning and quiet, with a comfortable bed . A little off the beaten track from the tourist area, but still within easy walking distance (about 10-15 minutes) of the port. I liked the local, family atmosphere in the neighborhood. Mauricio is such a nice person, always very responsive and ready to help. He made me feel very welcome and I was very satisfied with my 6 day stay in his accommodation. Also very nice to have been able to borrow a mask and snorkel :-) Thanks again Mauricio !

My experience at this home was exceptional. The apartment was impeccable, very comfortable and equipped with everything you need to feel at home. As I work online, I needed a good internet connection, and here it was excellent: fast, stable and perfect for video calls and demanding tasks throughout my stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, ideal for preparing my own meals in comfort. In addition, they offered us snorkeling equipment at no additional cost and a super useful guide with the best places to snorkel for free in San Cristobal, which made all the difference in enjoying the island. They also helped me organize my ferry transfers to other islands and book tours that were really amazing. That assistance made a difference and greatly facilitated my experience in the Galapagos. And the best part: the views from the apartment. Every sunset offered a perfect postcard with a panoramic view of the bay that I will never forget. I recommend it.

This was my favorite stay of the 3 islands. Mercedes' place is walkable to the ferry, the beaches, and tons of restaurants. It was a great accommodation and I would definitely stay here again!

Sahara’s place was great. Spacious and private. Very clean and silent. We felt right at home. Just one block away from all the restaurants and agencies yet silent at night. We strongly recommend it to anyone.

Maria Belén’s place was great for our two day stay on Sam Cristobal. I’ve never been able to walk from an Airport to accommodation before. It only took ten minutes :-). This flat is on the top floor with great views. The beds were comfortable and the shower was good. We could wash our clothes and dry them outside on the covered balcony which was a great help. We’d book again :-)

SUPER HOST. We have a nice experience. he answers us immediately of any doubt, and gives us many recommendations of walks and tours. very friendly Don Jose Luis. the suite has a great location, close to everything, there are shops, panateria, restaurant and close to the seawall. it is super big and spacious the suite, we are 5 people and the children run from all sides. Many thanks to Jose Luis, super nice the suite, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We really enjoyed staying here whilst on San Cristobal. We last minute booked and communication was really quick and easy. I had an online interview and the WiFi was really good. Very short walk to the sea front. Clean and spacious. Great aircon in the bedroom.
