Kid-friendly holiday rentals in San Donato-San Vitale, Bologna

Paola was a great host and helped with all our enquiries. Paola helped us check-in and provided helpful suggestions on places to visit. The rooms exceeded our expectations were really big, and the bathrooms were great. The only issue was in the downstairs bedroom there was a lot of noisy in the night from the street, however, as we were staying on a Friday and Saturday night this may be expected. Ear plugs were kindly provided! Overall a great place to stay if visiting Bologna.

Pier’s place is the perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of any town / city. It’s a peaceful setting in the hills. Pier is also a very friendly host who is very welcoming, generous and has excellent local recommendations.

It was very nice to stay at Elisa’s place. Would visit here again.

Cozy and spacious studio apartment, kitchen equipped with everything you need and very clean bathroom. Very helpful and flexible hosts for check-in.

We ended up in an oasis of peace. A conscious choice we made. Small but nice, equipped with all the basic amenities. As a base for visits to Florence (from the village by train) and Bologna this was perfect. The beautiful sunsets remain forever etched on our retinas.

This place was PERFECT! Right in the heart of Bologna. Everything was walkable and there are so many things nearby. Even a great coffee shop right below the apartment. Fiorella’s recommendations were amazing! The restaurants she recommended could not have been better! We enjoyed her place so much and was great to have a place to relax. Would highly recommmend staying here. Also, checking in and out was super flexible. Fiorella was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had!

Highly recommend Bazzano and Franco’s house as home base for visiting Bologna, Modena and environs. Unique beautifully maintained historic home with lovely outdoor space. Comfortable bed and a/c was appreciated on warm June night.

Apartment easily accessible by car from the fair. New and orderly condominium context. The house is equipped with every comfort and very, very clean. Super responsive and helpful host, thanks Giorgio.

I was in the accommodation for 3 weeks and was really very satisfied. Starting from the communication with Giulia to the impeccable furnishings of the apartment. You can find everything to cook and to spend a longer stay there. It has to be said that the area had a typical station-like atmosphere. But I felt safe everywhere, even though I was traveling alone as a woman. All in all, I can really recommend the accommodation, especially for longer stays.

Our stay in Bologna was very nice. The drive by car was easy and the underground parking was a great plus. The check-in was straightforward and everything important was explained to us. We were happy to use the breakfast options provided to us. Bus line 25 provides easy access to the city center. Personally, the walk was a bit too far for us in the summer weather. Definitely a recommended place to stay.

This location is ideal because it is just steps away from shopping and restaurants, but once you enter the building it all falls away and you have privacy and air conditioned peace. It’s is just over a mile walk to the train station where we took day trips to Venice and Florence.

Great studio in a great location with a great host

Mauro is a kind, helpful, and knowledgeable host - he recommended restaurants and ice cream parlors in the city center so we could try the local cuisine. The house is as described, a very clean apartment with attention to detail, the neighborhood is quiet and is close to transportation to be able to get around the city. I highly recommend it, I would go back!

Great area and the flat is quiet considering the amount of people, restaurants and bars. Nice place to stay and the air conditioning was hugely apprecaited

Armando's place is amazing. The place is new and has been built with quality products. The host has been very responsive and accommodating. You will feel at home right from the start. One of the rare places we have been and felt relaxing from the start. The vast patio is also a rare feature for a place this close to city center and that has a parking. I can't recommend more this place.

Luciana’s place was perfect for my stay in Bologna. The apartment has a very comfortable living space and the location is only a short 10 min walk to the main piazza and many other attractions. Luciana was excellent at communicating and made me feel very welcome.

Spacious apartment with vaulted ceilings and walking distance to train station, restaurants, shopping, and central Bologna. Air conditioning and the lift were very appreciated. We really enjoyed staying at Vladimir’s place and would consider staying again on a future trip to Bologna. Vladimir’s apartment manager, Luca was wonderful — very helpful with local recommendations and baggage storage, and quite flexible for check-in when our train was very late to arrive.
