Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in San Francisco

Our stay here was wonderful. Jeannie and Skate are the nicest people and were so helpful during our stay. The two cats are very sweet and were so great to spend time with. We loved our time here!

I booked this rental of behalf of family members who were visiting San Francisco for an extended 9 day stay over the holidays. Martina’s place is an easy 10 minute walk from my own home which made it a perfect location to have family close by. The rental unit, which is downstairs from the main residence, is as advertised and looks just like the photos. Upon arrival, Martina met us to walk us through the property and make sure everything went smoothly. She was super helpful and responsive to any questions throughout the stay. The apartment was very cozy and good size. One thing worth noting is that you need to walk outside (on the back porch) to get between the two bedrooms. This was not an issue but might be say for parents with small children. Each bedroom had a fridge and bathroom, so the separation actually provides additional privacy, if that’s what you are looking for. The outside space, particularly the hot tub & attached sauna were especially enjoyed. Great stay!

Sandor and Giuliana are the best hosts! We loved getting to know them and their sweet dog, Giorgio, and staying in their beautiful home. They made us feel right at home and had wonderful neighborhood recommendations and local history to share.

Loved returning to Skate and Jeannie's place after first visiting 9 years ago. The place was just as great as before though it was lovely to see the new additions to their arty garden, including the outdoor bathtub. I must also give a huge thanks for their above and beyond assistance in helping us to successfully track down some lost luggage.

Room and apartment clean and beautifully decorated. Central and quiet location. Shops and good restaurants in walking distance. Good connection to public transport. Great and caring hosts. Nice chats, excellent and thoughtful tips. The complementary breakfast was a good start in the day. We loved the three cats. We would rent again.

Very clean room. The hotel is good. However the area around didnt feel safe.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Jeannie and Skate and their beautiful home. They were flexible when we requested to drop off our luggage early, they were unbelievably responsive with messages, and always had great recommendations. Their space was fantastic - there were times where we didn’t want to leave the backyard! Will definitely be staying here again!!!

Had a wonderful 10 day stay here! Michelle is a fantastic host. The home, kitchens and rooms are so cozy. Everything is super organized, neat and clean. Lovely books in the shelves that will make you explore the wonderful city of San Francisco. The oatmeal breakfast, fruits, yoghurts, with array of coffee machines are absolutely a whole cherry cake on top of another. This place is a gem!

Great inn with client rooms and in a very nice neighbourhood. Breakfast was super!

Cool, clean, convenient space.

Stayed in a lovely little room on the ground floor. I checked in late at 9pm, but someone was there to greet me. They had tea and cookies out, which I really enjoyed after a long day of meetings. The room was tiny as advertised but perfect for 1 person. Comfy bed and a totally updated bathroom. Despite being on street level, noise wasn't bad at all. I used a white noise app but didn't have to turn it up. Breakfast was just right, with offerings of quiche, bacon, eggs. I was really pleased and will return!!

I stayed in suite B, which was a little larger of the units. I found the space really clean

Really nice spot to stay if you're in the city temporarily or using it as a base to look for a place. The rooms are clean and well marked with individual bathrooms. Street parking was really easy every evening, I was able to find a spot right in front. I appreciated how the host posted quiet hours and reminded all the guests of them. Just FYI, the house cannot have any animals, even if its a service animal; other than that, I would definitely stay here again.

Great place for exploring the city. The street noise was loud at night but the wooden sliding windows worked wonders to keep the room quiet. We'll kept place, enjoyed the stay.
