L'appartamento è situato in una delle piazze più caratteristiche del mondo: la piazza dell'Anfiteatro Romano, dove in periodi successivi, sulle sue rovine sono stati ricostruiti appartamenti. Fino agli anni sessanta del secolo scorso, la piazza era sede del mercato ortofrutticolo all'ingrosso ed era considerato un quartiere molto povero. L'appartamento è un progetto mio e di mio fratello. Abbiamo curato la ristrutturazione di persona realizzando artigianalmente gli arredi. Si trova all'interno della cinta muraria di Lucca, con soffitti ad oltre 3 metri e doppi affacci che rendono lo spazio decisamente luminoso. Possiede un piccolo balcone e un caminetto decorativo (non utilizzabile per regolamento cittadino). E' un attico e si trova al 3° piano di un edificio storico, non possiede ascensore.
