Beautiful building with exceptional staff. The food was absolutely delicious although you had to order and schedule a sitting time in advance which made planning activities a bit more restrictive. The lodgings are incredibly peaceful and quite intimate. It was amazing being so close to the river was and the room was exactly as shown.

Very cute & private feel. Right on the edge of a beautiful river. It has a very bed & breakfast feel to it. They only cook to order & take your breakfast/dinner orders in advance. We were immediately greeted with friendly staff and were served dinner by the pool the first night we arrived. There was only one other couple staying there at the time and we felt as though we had the place to ourselves and accommodations were customized. Lovely little place to stay just a short distance outside of San Ignacio. The riverfront property is a pubic river access but it was never crowded or loud. The access is only used during the day for the public.

Absolutely incredible, I have no words. We had such a wonderful time, we didn’t want to leave. All the meals were delicious and the staff was kind and attentive. We want to come back!!

This was a great apartment to stay in San Ignacio. You get so much for the price - great location, clean and spacious apartment, amenities like 5-gallon water, Marie Sharp's hot sauce, and a fully stocked kitchen. I loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. I walked everywhere because it's right at the center of it all. I highly recommend this place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. Restaurants and bar on-site with great service, the river was amazing. It was hot in June buy the AC worked great and the river was very refreshing. Bring snorkel and mask and you will see LOTS of fish. The location was very convenient to San Ignacio and we were able to get picked up here which was very convenient. I would definitely stay here again!

Marion's place was great, 10mins to downtown with a little hike uphill to get back, but its a great location. 15min walking to Cahal Pech ruins. Marion's rep Ayeisha who i dealt with and managed the airbnb was amazing, she was so responsive and helpful & checked in everyday to make sure all was good. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Judy's place is great. You're with a few minutes of Xunantunich Mayan Ruins, great local restaraunts, and about an hour from Big Rock Falls, Monkey Falls and Rio Pools. The check in and check out process is super easy and her and her father super accomodating. Whether just visting the area or making a stop on your way to or from Guatemala (which the border is only minutes away) i recommend staying here.

Absolutely recommend this place! The host was so welcoming and very, very friendly. Whenever we had a question she was answering within minutes to help us out! The room was very clean. Nice to have the community kitchen. Thank you! :)

I had a nice, comfy stay at Shaun’s place. It’s in a good location—close to grocery stores and restaurants.

I would highly recommend Ceasar's place! it a hidden gem for anyone visiting San Ignacio, it just like 5 mins away from the twin towns. it's a place where u can unwind and just relax; it's a quiet property with a big river bed space to just enjoy the sound of Mother nature and take a space in some cool fresh water. Caesar have create two different steps to access the river which made swimming a lot easier! it's a picturesque area. Ceasar was very attentive with our check in and he walk around with us and show us around the property and sharing information.

David was a great host! He was very communicative and helpful. The breakfast was great and we felt like home.

Can't say enough positive things about Adrienne, place was exactly as described and perfect for a get away to San Ignacio. my girlfriend and I stayed for 4 nights, did Tikal, ATM Cave and Xunauntich. Easy walk downtown to local restaurants and bars. Highly recommend using Jam-Jam Tours for the ATM cave and Maya Walk for Tikal. Xunauntich is easy enough to take a taxi and view the grounds yourself (will save a lot of money) And make sure to check out Guava Limb, and Ko-Ox Han Nah for dinner. The Sports bar and Grill for cold beer and excellent conch device. Only thing I would say that might not be a plus is there's no kitchen (there is a fridge) so make sure you bring some cutlery if you get food to go! Adrienne even helped us get a ride from the airport and out of town on our way to Placencia

D's place was lovely. Raf was very kind and helped us with booking a tour to the caves last minute and even gave us info on our next trip to Guatamala. He is a gem and the place was exactly what we expected plus more. Book this place if you would like to explore San Ignacio in a prime location and feel safe. BONUS it us like a 2 min walk to huge grocery store and HODES place which is where all the buses drop off and pick up travelers. Thanks again Raf!

Vanessa's place is exactly as pictured. I was greeted by her husband Joe for check in and he showed me around. I absolutely loved the shower overlooking the river and listening to the sounds of the jungle. The AC quickly cooled the room down in the evening. Communication was great prior to and throughout my stay.

The apartment was as described. I knew it from the previous owner and Rafael has done an excellent job of renovation. It is clean and well kept. As a woman traveling alone; I felt very safe there. Rafael and his wife live on site which is helpful as well. He is quick to answer any questions. I would definitely recommend his place and I plan on returning.

Wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Laura was a great host, and Leda was incredibly helpful and welcoming as my concierge. Everything went smoothly. I will definitely stay again!

LA's Guesthouse was a great place to stay. Up the hill from downtown area made it quiet yet still close enough to be walkable. Sonja was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely reccomend.

The Venus Hotel was exactly what they advertised. Our shower didn’t have hot water. I don’t know if it’s always that way but we made due. No complaints. They had potable water at the front desks for guests. A/C worked great. Bed was firm but wasn’t painful. Very clean, and friendly staff!

Luis and Sonia were very attentive and considerate and available. The room was kept very clean and the ambiance is very nice. I definitely recommend it.

We loved our time at this Airbnb. It’s right in the center of San Ignacio, which made it the perfect home base for exploring local Mayan temples and caves. The town’s market is just a short walk away—buzzing with energy, great food, and friendly locals. One morning, we even spotted a toucan by the river just down the street! The place itself was super comfortable, and the AC units cooled the room quickly after long, warm days out adventuring. If you're looking for a clean, convenient, and well-located spot in San Ignacio, this is it. Highly recommended!

Staying with Marta was better than I expected. The rooms are very clean and neat and had all the utilities and kitchen ware I needed. Wi fi and cable works very well. Almost everything is at walking distance from Marta`s place; there is a super market open up to 9 pm in front. An excellent cevicheria at the left. a bakery at the back, and a cute place you can have breakfast in front also. There is also a pupuseria!
