Great place. Jacqueline is a great communicator. There is hot water in the shower. It's a long walk from the main road, so if you aren't driving it is a bit out of the way. Otherwise, fantastic accommodation

The pictures don't really do this place justice. We were all blown away by the beauty of the river flowing by, as well as the charm of the bedrooms and common spaces. While we were a little uncertain about how things operate (since we found it on Airbnb, we were thinking more traditional house than hotel, but it is a small hotel that we privatized with our large group), those concerns quickly vanished when I spoke ahead of time about what to expect. When one of our members became extremely sick with a migraine, the staff did such a caring job of helping out with whatever he needed. The food was outstanding! We even had several dietary restrictions in our group (severe nut allergy, gluten/dairy intolerant, vegetarian) and they still made delicious meals. The location was just perfect - off the beaten path but close to the places we wanted to go. Everyone was extremely friendly and looked for ways to help out. We all loved it!

I love this place! It's very isolated and peaceful. Mike is quick to answer any questions. This is my second time staying here. Everyone is super friendly and helpful.

Very clean room and AC was great to have. This location offered breakfast and it was tasty with a nice waitress. Pool was great to hangout in with full bar. Definitely recommend!

Our stay in our cabana at Midas was close to many things, was a nice property that had a pool, bar, and restaurant. Unfortunately, we were only there for a couple of days, mainly to go to the ATM caves (highly recommended!) and it was pouring rain the rest of our time there but we still got out to enjoy Ko-Ox Han Nah and their delicious curry!

We enjoyed our stay very much at Michael’s place. It was exactly as he listed it. It was clean and enough room for the 4 of us. The AC was excellent and the shower pressure was awesome. The surroundings are lush and it’s surprisingly quiet right next to the hotel and restaurant. The restaurant had great food , we especially loved the desserts! We walked into town everyday, enjoyed a real farmers’ market, local food and people . The linens were crisp and clean every day and the towels were lovely and warm. The staff is friendly and chatty . We loved the pool. It came in so handy for all the hikes and our visit to Tikal! Highly recommend! Overall we had a great stay at Michael’s and would recommend. Thank you Michael!

Easy check in, super friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are large and clean. Grounds are well maintained. Pool gets busy on the weekends but it was great for the kids. Only complaint would be the lack of water pressure made it difficult to get a good shower. Would definitely stay again.

I would highly recommend Ceasar's place! it a hidden gem for anyone visiting San Ignacio, it just like 5 mins away from the twin towns. it's a place where u can unwind and just relax; it's a quiet property with a big river bed space to just enjoy the sound of Mother nature and take a space in some cool fresh water. Caesar have create two different steps to access the river which made swimming a lot easier! it's a picturesque area. Ceasar was very attentive with our check in and he walk around with us and show us around the property and sharing information.

This was a great apartment to stay in San Ignacio. You get so much for the price - great location, clean and spacious apartment, amenities like 5-gallon water, Marie Sharp's hot sauce, and a fully stocked kitchen. I loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. I walked everywhere because it's right at the center of it all. I highly recommend this place to stay!

My wife, myself and our 14yo grandson stayed for 4 days. The place was incredible. A jungle experience everyone should try, from the guided cave tour by Alex to the bridge and then the stairs up the jungle mountain. The little cafe had awesome burritos and quesadillas. The trip in and the 2 river crossings was an adventure in its own right after all the rain that we had had, but we made it(in a AWD car) On our last day we were surprised by a special guest by a favorite of mine. “We’re not gonna take it” is my clue. Thank you Mike & sons, Alex and everyone else!

An absolutely beautiful home with a beautiful view and all of the amenities for a comfortable stay. The hammock and two rocking chairs to watch a sun rise and listen to all the birds was stellar!

Absolutely recommend this place! The host was so welcoming and very, very friendly. Whenever we had a question she was answering within minutes to help us out! The room was very clean. Nice to have the community kitchen. Thank you! :)

Stay at Los Zirecotes with Luis. If you would like a quiet, safe spot as a nice home base, you'll love Luis spot. We arrived late and Luis accommodated us well. He checked to see when we would arrive so that he could ensure we were comfortable. We appreciate Luis' responsiveness and his respect for our privacy. Our 2 bedroom unit was just the right fit. The separate baths, tv area and kitchen were just the right fit foenus and our 4 yr. old. Luis' place is in a quiet area. We felt safe and it was only minutes from town centre. Thanks Luis!

We loved our time at this Airbnb. It’s right in the center of San Ignacio, which made it the perfect home base for exploring local Mayan temples and caves. The town’s market is just a short walk away—buzzing with energy, great food, and friendly locals. One morning, we even spotted a toucan by the river just down the street! The place itself was super comfortable, and the AC units cooled the room quickly after long, warm days out adventuring. If you're looking for a clean, convenient, and well-located spot in San Ignacio, this is it. Highly recommended!

Kayla's place is exactly as it kill is described and pics show the place as described. Kayla is a great host as is her cohosts. They are there in case of emergency and extremely communicable to us guests. Kayla responds within hour. Her place has ice cold air and very clean. If looking for a place economical I recommend this place. It's about a 15 minute walk to town and near many corner stores. Taxi is affordable (recommend) to town. This pace is also close enough to deliver. In the rooms Kayla has a list of places to call, eat and where you're located in distance from places like exploring the city. Enjoyed staying here. I'd recommend to anyone whether on a budget or not.
