Holiday rentals with a kayak in San Juan County

This Sandy Point retreat was the perfect house for us to visit our kids from Ferndale, WA. We loved the spectacular views and sunsets and the warm and comfortable sunroom. We had fires every night, played games, paddled the SUP, had fun cooking in the fully stocked kitchen, and enjoyed family style dinners at the large dining table. We enjoyed the 3 comfortable bedrooms especially the one with views of the water and islands. You feel like you are on a cruise ship! Kim, the host, was super friendly and helpful and the house instructions were simple and clear. We loved it!!!!

Charlie's place is exactly what you would book if you want a staycation. The view is unmatched. Loved the sunset from the living room. the hosts were very responsive and made our stay really wonderful.

The Home was great and the host is very responsive and kind. Beautiful home with a great view of the sunset and Peaceful walks on the beach. Big enough to bring the whole family. Definetly worth a 2nd visit.

Had a great stay at Matt's. Close to Friday Harbor but just far enough to not be right on top of things, nice view. Appreciated the kitchen and plenty of pans/plates for what we needed to do.

Spyhop was the perfect home for our family to gather while celebrating our son’s graduation from Western Washington University. Susan and Emily were wonderful hosts!

Can't beat the views at Bill's. We had a great time walking at low tide, playing lawn games, kayaking at high tide and enjoying the views. Bill makes sure the house has eveyrthing that's needed for an enjoyable stay and more.

Where do I start, Orcas is our second home and we will be making the trip twice a year no doubt about that, it's beauty and peacefulness is everything one could dream of. Jennifer's place added to that beauty. It sits right off the water and can be seen from the curved road ahead of arriving to the place, it's like a house sitting on a hill. The antique furnishings gives a feeling of an earlier time when the cares of the world were few and the enjoyment of the presence was much. Everything in the home accommodated my family very well. I encourage everyone to stay here and enjoy all of Jennifer's amenities, such as her kayaks and boats, her huge yard, sit out on a blanket with a book or just enjoy the scenery. Light a bomb fire on the fire pit, bit pack a sweater it's chili next to the water. This was everything and we will certainly be back to Jennifer's for another stay. Jennifer's very kind she stopped by to say hi and we gave her a plate of BBQ which she quite enjoyed. Thank you.

Chris's beach house was as advertised and provided a perfect launching point for us to explore Bellingham, Ferndale, and the waterfront area. The house is directly across from the beach and has an ocean view. Beach is great for strolling, running, watching sunsets, etc.. The front yard is large, fenced (great if you have a dog), has a bonfire pit, large front covered porch, with tables and chairs. Great place to hang outside. The house itself as a separate bedroom, futon coach and chairs in living room, and comes with an espresso machine. Chris was a great host, accessible by phone, and checking in with us by phone to make certain everything was ok. We had a great time and I'd highly recommend Chris's place.

We had a great stay. Everything was as described and the home was very clean. 5 minute drive into Eastsound and close to tons of hikes and beaches. Already planning our return trip. My dog loved the fenced back yard too! So hard to find a dog friendly airbnb but this was the only one on the island with a fenced yard :)

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Jennifer's quaint, characterful, cozy cottage. The location, property, and home were charming, with lovely, mature landscaping, fields of grass, water view framed by trees, and a private little beach. The antique furniture, lace curtains, and multiple vases of fresh-picked flowers and greenery all added romantic touches. The master bed was very comfortable and Jennifer kindly customized the bedding to accommodate our feather allergy. Although the property is a compound with other cottages, the setting was extremely private both indoors and out, on account of the large lot, separate access, and screening of mature trees. The wi-fi was weak, so perhaps not the ideal location for working, but perfect for a romantic getaway!

This was one of the best Airbnbs I have stayed at over the years! The house is very well stocked with everything you could need for cooking in the kitchen and kayaks/bikes for exploring the area. The views of Mt Baker off the back deck are amazing and the sunset over the San Juan Islands was great too. Beds and bathrooms were clean and comfortable as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location looking out over the marina in West Sound. Close to hiking trails overlooking the islands, easy to get everywhere else on the island.

We had a wonderful time at Coze! Spacious accommodations, beautiful views. Having the extra apartment was great. We had one member that needed to be online sometimes for work and it was a nice private space to do that. Loved our stay!
