Holiday rentals with beach access in San Leon

Grace’s beach casita was bigger & better than I expected. Her affable nature and helpfulness was unexpected compared with most BnBs I’ve used. Great trip!

We really enjoyed our stay! The space is small, as expected, but had everything we needed for a quick trip with pets. Great value and excellent communication from the host. It’s pet-friendly, but note that the pet fee is not included at booking — it’s shared and collected afterward, so just something to be aware of. The location was very convenient — close to the seawall, great restaurants, and walkable to the rec center for pickleball. A solid stay overall, especially for pet owners looking for an affordable spot near the action!

Cute little condo. The complex could use a little TLC; but the condo was super clean. It’s a little on the small side; with four adults it was a bit tight. Two pools and two hot tubs on premise. Beds were comfortable and the AC was super cold! I appreciated the keypad; instead of having to fumble for a key! There were beach towels and toys for our use as well. Literally across the street from the beach; and next to Wal Mart. We were able to book two nights with her for about half the price of a hotel. Definitely worth checking out!

Visit in mid-June was great! Beach not too crowded. Beautiful accommodations and loved the kitchen! Host was clear on instructions to make our stay perfect! I would definitely book again.

If you’re trying to feel right at home with a beautiful view of the beach this place is definitely for you! Me and my family enjoyed staying here! The host had a lot of recommendations and was super friendly! I would recommend!!

Absolutely a gem!!!!! LOCATION!!!LOCATION!!! LOCATION!!! The Zen Den was so adorable, perfect for a couples getaway. Very well put together and the aesthetic was just fabulous. If you're looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable, relaxing, central location place. The Zen Den it is. You will not regret your stay. We truly enjoyed our stay and loved that we were less than 10min to everything. Especially a skip and hop away from one of our favorite, Gaido's restaurant. Definitely will book again. Thank you Valerie for sharing your lovely home and making our stay stress free.

Nice independent unit. Walkable to restaurants. Sam was an excellent host and always available. Would certainly consider for next visit as well.

It was such a cute little place! Place had everything that was listed on the description. Tasha was a great host. The arcade game was definitely a plus for my kids! We enjoyed our stay and look forward to future stays.

It was an adorable cabin! Our daughter loves the beach. We take her every year and this was our favorite cabin so far. You could see the water from the porch. We absolutely loved the screened in porch. It was perfect for our kids. It had everything we needed and we had the best time.

We had a great stay during our week at Robert’s place (family of three and a dog). All is exactly as pictured: clean, comfortable, and cozy, with a fun beach vibe. The neighborhood is super walkable and fun for humans and dogs — our dog sniffed while I gawked at the historical homes (win-win)! Plus, it’s such a great spot for all of the Galveston things (Moody Gardens, Strand, beach, restaurants, etc.) But the real stand-out here is Robert’s communication and attentiveness. Just STELLAR. Y’all will be well taken care of, trust me. Either you’ll find everything you need already at the cottage or, if you end up needing something, Robert will make it so! Definitely recommend. Great little place. Simple and clean, all I needed while I was in town taking some classes. Remarkably close to a private waterfront neighborhood park with great views. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Debra was extremely quick to respond, helpful, and very thoughtful (even offered me muffins!). Would stay again.

Overall had a great stay! A few things to note for future b&bers: The only staircase is a black spiral staircase, which was a little difficult for our older family members to manage. The cooking utensils/food storage is a bit on the sparse side, if you plan on doing a lot of cooking/having leftovers, you may want to bring some cheap plastic Tupperware! The bbq grill/beach gear leaves a lot to be desired! It has definitely seen the wear and tear of previous guests. Which isn’t a big deal, but not something to depend on using without some TLC. Overall our stay was amazing. It’s a dream location with amazing beach access. The beds were phenomenal, and I will miss how comfortable it was. Shannon was an amazing host and left fresh flowers and apothecary items for us leaving the whole place smelling amazing our whole visit. I would absolutely recommend Mermaid manor to anyone visiting the area!

Beautiful place. Really enjoyed my stay here. The house has everything you need . Kitchen fully equipped. It’s peaceful, feels like home, So cozy. I would definitely say here again

The yellow gator canal house is perfect for the fishing enthusiast. I took my family of 5 to enjoy father's day weekend. The home is right on thr water, and has easy west bay access. I kayak fished at night. I also kayaked the bay close to shore.

We stayed for 3 nights (5people) we were impressed with the cleanliness. There were plenty of towels, laundry worked well as did the rest of the appliances in the kitchen. Only thing that would have been nice were some mixing bowls or tupperware/baking dishes. House was stocked with decent quality toilet paper, paper towels laundry detergent, dish soap, plenty of trash bags, and dishwasher detergent. The view is gorgeous and Jeff was very kind on the phone when I called to adjust my reservation to include more people. Would highly recommend this spot. The game room was helpful since the weather didn’t cooperate during our visit. The staff in the office was very friendly as well. Thanks Jeff!

Terra and Darin’s place was absolutely perfect for our little girls getaway trip. The unit was exactly as described, very clean and had easy access to parking AND the beach. And it was VERY well stocked. Communication was fast and they even allowed us a little leeway on the arrival time. I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a beachfront unit in the Galveston area.

The condo is well-stocked with dishes, cookware, and bathroom amenities. There is also a chest on the balcony containing a variety of recreational items for the beach. And there's a full-sized washer and dryer. I'll keep this on my list when I return.

Perfect view of the beach from the balcony. Easy walk to the beach. Beautiful pool and super quiet. Very relaxing stay.

Location was fabulous, the condo was perfect for 3 adults and a toddler. Wendy had everything we needed except for food and drink. She even had coffee with sugar and creamer at the ready! Wendy notified me prior to check in that the cleaner reported the fold out bed in the couch had a broke leg and was willing to have a replacement delivered the same night! I declined as it wasn’t necessary for us and we wouldn’t need that extra bed. She was prompt with communication and was clear with check in and check out instructions. Front office was friendly and actually had affordable laundry soap so I didn’t have to make another trip to Walmart which btw is walking distance! The pools were fabulous and the condo is right outside the more kid friendly pool. Elevator was broke by our room but we managed. We could have used one on the opposite side but it wasn’t terrible for us. This is located on the top floor (4th floor) definitely keeping this gem saved! Great first time A-BNB experience! ❤️

We enjoyed our weekend stay here! The condo was cozy and perfectly placed to see the ocean and pool from the balcony. There were a lot of options on what to do in the area. They even provided a cooler and beach toys if needed. Great communication with the host as well.

David was very prompt to messages and we were able to check in early. I felt like he really cared about making our last minute get away great. The condo is exactly as described and a nice spot for my husband and I to unwind. You can't go wrong with this little hideaway. Jody and Michael
