Nice stay, we were met well, on arrival, it's a nice homely flat and were given a full tour with advice on what to see. Top tip if you walk from the station, you can get the funicular up the steep hill for 2 euro and enter from the top of the building instead. good location, close to the old city, if you go up their is a bakery and pizza restaurant. would have loved to stay longer

This was the perfect base for our short break. The flat was absolutely pristine, very stylish and beautifully presented. It felt surprisingly spacious – even though the quirky layout meant we were almost literally on top of each other, everyone felt like they had plenty of breathing room. We were very comfortable (I wish my mattress at home were as good!) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And the location was perfect for us: tucked tight between the harbour (perfect, we went down to the waterfront pretty much every day) and the Doge's Palace, it was easy to explore in every direction and enjoy the characterful streets.

We booked Luca's place very last minute (like 3 hours before arrival) and he was super accommodating getting everything ready for us!

Great place to stay. Easily accessible bus to/from the airport, only a 5 minute walk to brignole train station. Great location to walk into town, and also perfect for day trips to cinque terre! Flat is beautiful, and the balcony gets sunlight all day. Luca is incredibly helpful. Just be aware of mosquitoes at night- close all windows and use the air con!

We had an amazing weekend at Stefano’s place in Genova—definitely a 5-star experience! The apartment is beautifully designed and crafted, with incredible attention to detail that honestly makes it feel like a boutique hotel. It’s compact, but thanks to some really clever design choices, it feels super spacious and incredibly comfortable, the bathroom too was excellent and the shower gorgeous. Stefano was a fantastic host—super friendly, welcoming, provided plenty of useful advice, and even brought a coat and chair for our child, which was such a kind and thoughtful touch. We absolutely loved our stay, would 100% recommend it, and would happily come back anytime. Thank you

Elana and her daughter were very helpful and very accommodating to all of our needs. Her daughter met us and showed us around with helpful tips about the place and the location. She told us all we needed to be comfortable and take advantage of our stay. Check out was as seamless and flexible. The place was very quaint and clean. Beautiful beach and location. Need to bring groceries or a car as not much within walking distance. Expensive area - beach clubs and restaurants but worth the treat

The home was exactly what I was looking, a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy nature. Close to all the places you might need to get to in the area e.g. Camogli, Portofino, Santa Margherita etc. If you don’t have a 4x4 you can leave the car in a free on street parking spot (which is a luxury for the area) and walk a couple of minutes to the home like we did, no big deal it’s part of the experience. If you have a 4x4 you can drive directly to the home. Alice and Jeo were always happy to help. The home has clearly been recently renovated and furnished with good taste and most importantly it was clean. I would certainly recomend it to fellow travellers.

The accommodation is comfortable, and very quiet, we appreciated the uniqueness with this huge hot tub, and the whole stone structure. The night was quiet with a good comfortable bed. I would definitely recommend this type of accommodation for short stays, let's say for a romantic weekend and finding yourself in a small but very special nest for couples. Only the bathroom is a bit sacrificed, but for a weekend it can be fine. The private barbecue area is very much appreciated. As for the reception by Stefano, I must say he was very friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was perfect stay for a couple of days, very quiet and a clean and slightly quirky apartment. It’s worth noting that the stairs to the bedroom really are steep; we came down backwards and couldn’t get our bags up the stairs. Having said that the room was lovely and airy. We enjoyed the walk down into Camolgli but it is a bit of a hike back up.! Loved the bonus of the local open air swimming pool and super friendly staff.

We loved our stay and Daniela was a great host. The location is beautiful and the views are amazing - but just be prepared that the walk into town is very steep and the path a little overgrown - not so easy after dark or with shopping! For us through, it was more than worth it for the views. The villa was lovely, very traditional Italian style and had everything we needed. The pool was a big hit and not very easy to find in this area so we and the kids loved it. We felt very at home. One thing to note is that the rubbish disposal is a little difficult and we had to dispose of all of our rubbish ourselves, which we didn't realise - the bins are located at the bottom of a very steep hill and road so if you don't have a car, it isn't easy. Other than that, we loved our stay and will hopefully return!

We had a wonderful time at the Olive Press Lodge - unfortunately too short. The property is so beautiful and lovingly maintained, we were happy to come "home" every evening. We were received very kindly and openly by Thomas and he always had an open ear in the days that followed, had valuable tips and was helpful - in a pleasant, unobtrusive way. We appreciated that they lived next door, we felt at home and welcome. The house itself has everything you need, you can immediately feel comfortable and at home. We also had rainy days and enjoyed that it is so spacious and so cozy inside. The olive groves around it and the beautiful garden, which, like everything, is lovingly designed and maintained down to the last detail, complete the whole thing wonderfully. For us, it was all around perfect and I highly recommend this wonderful place to everyone! Thanks for the wonderful time!

Communication with Barbara was very easy. We arrived at 11:00 pm and her husband Tizziano waited for us at the station to accompany us to the accommodation. The apartment was clean and tidy and in an unbeatable location. Except that it faces the street and at night you can hear all the noise from the street. I would be delighted to recommend Barbara's accommodation!

Very nice apartment, clean and spacious... excellent communication, we only had a few hitches in finding the apartment because the house number is marked above the door instead of on the side, but due to our oversight because of our tiredness... Convenient location for walking and nearby parking

We had a fantastic stay at this very special apartment in Genoa. We were three friends traveling together, and the apartment was incredibly spacious and full of character. It has a unique artistic charm – not your standard holiday flat, but something with real soul. The apartment was clean and in great condition, with the kind of patina you’d expect from a historic building – full of atmosphere, yet with everything perfectly functional. The kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms were all well-equipped, and the terrace was an absolute highlight: stunning views over the port and a perfect spot to unwind. Communication was flawless and proactive from start to finish. The location is excellent – close to everything you might need, yet peaceful. My family and I spent 3 days at Silvia's place. It was centrally located and very spacious. She was very easy to communicate with and I appreciated the electronic guide she sent with her favorite local restaurants, beaches, and attractions around Genova. If you are looking for a nice apartment close to the port, look no further! You won't be disappointed.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful historic apartment in Genoa. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old town, close to everything. The space is elegant and full of character, with stunning details like frescoed ceilings and a marble fireplace. It was spotless and incredibly well cared for. Silvia was such a kind and thoughtful host, her warm welcome made us feel right at home. It was the perfect romantic getaway for my boyfriend and me. Highly recommend!
