If you follow Polly’s instructions on how to get to the house, then it is an easy find! Polly was a great host; she had recommended the hot springs in the area which was a great spot. The house had everything you could have needed for 2 people to stay. They even had a washer and dryer. We had a great time at Polly’s place!

This is a great place to stay, highly recommend. Such a cute little place and exactly what the host says it is. Very nice!

This space is way lovelier, bigger & brighter than the photos! No one could describe the astounding beauty of this setting—truly. We walked the trails on the property, and albeit a bit overgrown, breathtaking and very enjoyable. We stayed in the upstairs apt over the garage, with the bed in the window dormer, and the views were so beautiful—by day and by night. The stars were exceptional from the balcony. We had our morning coffee on the balcony and our evening cocktail. We saw deer roam through the yard at sunset. If you’re needing a get away from all the noise, this is your place. Summer and Richard were both extra helpful and responsive. We asked for ice, Richard brought it up. We wanted to know about trails, he didn’t just tell us, he walked us out to the trailhead. The kitchenette was well equipped. But bring your own shampoo & conditioner. Be prepared for steep hairpin turns on the road up from Sawpit—come in daylight for the first time, or take the other route.

The Nest was a perfect place for a serene respite and as a launching pad for traveling to close by Telluride and Ouray. It was a very comfortable and cozy place to stay, GORGEOUS views from the upstairs deck, and a great place to see wildlife. I would highly recommend this gem of a retreat!
