Holiday rentals with a fire pit in San Rafael de Escazú

Well exceeded expectations what a welcoming host and home. Beautiful large living space with extra space front and back. Views are spectacular day and night. Definitely executive and comfortable living space main floor and second level. Wonderful restaurant walking distance from the house open Saturday and Sunday other restaurants just a short ride with Uber recommended. Definitely will return with my family and highly recommend this home in the mountains very close to San José…….5 stars all the way. This home was absolutely beautiful. A modern/contemporary style home with open air concept and a beautiful backyard. Star fruit, cas, and a type of orange tree, I was able to pick fresh fruit and make smoothies everyday. Backyard is very active with hummingbirds, butterflies and other birds that visit daily. We spent a lot of time on the patio. There is a roof top deck for spectacular night time views. The neighborhood is nice, we were there over the weekend and it seemed as if on Sunday it really came to life with people working in their yards, music playing, children in the park across the street. There is a Pali market & other stores within walking distance, it may not be a walk for all as it is on an incline. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook a meal, modern appliances, Ninja blender, a refrigerator with an ice maker, filtered Brita water pitcher, etc. The home was very clean and well maintained. David is an excellent host and very helpful.

The attention was always the best even and after check out that we require attention for a forgotten object.

I am a Costa Rican living in Houston, Texas. I live missing nature in all its forms. But when I arrived at this house, I felt that warmth of home that I needed. It's super quiet, it's inside a large family property, that made me feel very safe! It is serene and relaxed to be there, the sound of the birds and the yard full of chickens made me feel like I was in my old house. Sirlene is a super host who always answers any questions or needs as soon as possible. His parents were super kind and gave us lots of fruit. I recommend this house. It has everything you need for a long stay. My family and I stayed for a month. It was a very good experience. I'd love to come back in the future.

My family and I enjoyed the place very much! It is insanely beautiful, house decor is so unique and very comfortable and friendly people! The only one thing I would say is that in the House photos looks like there’s rooms outside however those are extra cabins in the same property(reserved separately) This home is only 3 Bedrooms, each bedroom has a bathroom which is so nice!

Bernd Y Irmgard were wonderful hosts; very accomodating and easy to talk to. The apartment was exceptional and very nice. They gave me directions to the grocery store and other locations. Their hosting was outstanding and would definitely stay with them again. They are definitely 5-star airbnb hosts!!

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment! It was spotlessly clean, with a modern, stylish, and minimalist decor that made it feel both cozy and luxurious. The view from the apartment was beautiful and really added to the overall experience. The apartment tower next door is in the final stages of construction, and the noise level is minimal. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at this Airbnb. The area is very quiet, safe and is super well located: close to everything and with excellent restaurant options a few minutes away. The apartment was clean, well-equipped and comfortable, ideal for feeling at home. In addition, Benedicto was very kind and was always willing to help with whatever we needed. We would definitely come back!

Quiet/private/safe place with great view

Ivonne's casita was really lovely! It is quite small, but worked for myself and my 2 teenage sons. We absolutely loved the property and the beautiful surroundings. It was very peaceful and we had fun hiking around and playing tetherball. I also greatly appreciated the washing machine, as we were in the area for a sporting event and needed to wash the athletic wear. Ivonne also helped us with a hose for washing extra things :) She and her husband were very friendly and made us feel extremely welcome. Check-in and check-out were easy and flexible.

An incredible place, it has everything, even a very affectionate kitten and the hostess is too kind.

The cabin is in an incredible place, surrounded by nature and with a lot of privacy. Ideal for a getaway from the city without having to handle a lot of distance. Approx 10-15 min from downtown Barva.

The cabin was very cozy, everything was very tidy and clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need and in general very well equipped (good blankets and extras). The place is highly recommended for a relaxing stay

Recommended for going with your partner and pet. External lighting could be reinforced to take even more advantage of the place at night.
