We cannot say enough about this place. This is by far our favorite river rental. So peaceful and beautiful with little to no traffic at all. We fished, kayaked, swam, and most of relaxed. Lots of wildlife to see as well. Tyler is an awesome hose and went out of her way to make our stay awesome. We will definitely be going back very soon. Our stay at Leaning Oaks Ranch in the 1893 farmhouse was absolutely delightful! It's a sweet escape, offering a rustic and quiet retreat. The location, tucked away on a cattle ranch down a dirt road, provided the perfect peaceful atmosphere, yet was still conveniently close to town. We especially loved our mornings sipping coffee on the porch, watching the cows graze nearby. It was a truly unique and charming experience. We also enjoyed drives and walks around the property, spotting cows, deer, jack rabbits, and armadillos! Margaret was a gracious and welcoming host, sharing the fascinating family history of the property with us. Would love to return, especially when the wildflowers are in bloom. Highly recommend this gem for anyone seeking a tranquil and authentic ranch experience!

This house is beautiful and it was perfect. It was super close to wear we needed to be. Restaurants and stores very close to the house. It is very quiet area. Renee is amazing and super helpful. She will go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and have what you need.

Very beautiful quiet peaceful cabin on the Colorado River. Good thing for wifi cause there is no cell service ( which was actually nice). It was a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Very nice host and quick to respond. We will love to return someday.

This home is beautiful inside and out. Located in downtown Goldthwaite makes it a great location for getting around in town and just a short drive to neighboring towns if you want to explore! The host is wonderful and very communicative. Would recommend this place if you are ever in the Mills County area!
