I live on the edge of the village and my front yard is the forest and a few steps away is the main trail to the river and forest. This is an authentic Zapotec village. "Connect with nature and disconnect from technology." Cabin in the Forest, completely surrounded by trees, with a small fireplace, private bathroom with hot water in the shower. The light is with solar bulbs that last between 4 and 6 continuous hours. There are no electrical outlets. Cell phone reception is minimal and only in certain areas of the property. There is a shared outdoor fire pit area.
