Tapada da Raia

Tapada da Raia has 35 acres of land, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede (being the last Portuguese house, because it is bordered to Spain). For years it served as an anti-stress refuge for the family, who today decided to open the doors for those who want to spend relaxing days in the nature. The rustic-style house features the necessary amenities for an invigorating holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, where even time seems to take longer to pass. Hope you like it!

Casa do Alto Lodge

Unique and quiet. Private pool from May1st until October15th. Pateo with stunning views and outside fireplace for Fall and Winter. At the foothills of S. Mamede sierra natural Park , next to small village of Escusa, in a lovely valley between the must-see villages of Castelo de Vide and Marvão. Modern lodge in a week-end farm. Resting, walking, reading, sun, shade, having a bath. Breathing fresh air and sleeping better. Also great for remote work. Possible laundry service.

Bird's House

Fully equipped rustic house, located in an extremely quiet place in the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park. Here you can enjoy Nature in its fullest form, catching up on your reading or simply relaxing by listening only to the sounds of Nature. There is no telephone network in the house, which makes the stay more special, but it does have Wi-Fi. Ideal for a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and city stress. Monte das Cascatas, natural surroundings

Cozy cottage, set in a serene and natural Alentejo hill with about 4 hectares. In the heart of the Serra de S.Mamede Natural Park, it is surrounded by a wide variety of indigenous flora, such as cork oaks, olive trees, oaks or fruit trees. Crossed by the river Sever and a stream that invites to refreshing baths for its countless waterfalls. It also has two real natural pools, old reused irrigation tanks.

Off-grid experience.

This is not an Hotel. It is a paradise for those seek to unplug and reconnect to a slower pace of life while experimenting with off-grid living: solar electricity for lights, solar and firewood heating systems, low pressure water system, compost toilet, no mobile or internet networks available inside the house. You will have access to a splash tank, food garden, trekking paths and a small waterfall.

Stone cottage in the Natural Park Serra S. Mamede

Our little stone cottage lies on a stream and has views of the beautiful hills and meadows full of olive and cork trees. In the garden you will find some fruit trees, herbs and flowers. Not far there is a nice waterfall to enjoy hot summer days. This is a peaceful place to relax. Here you can get immersed in nature's beauty, enjoy the sky full of stars and listen to the sheep's bells chiming.

Casa de Santa Maria integrates three independent apartments. The apartment Senhora da Alegria has a lot of light, modern decoration overlooking Marvão and Spain. The lounge/kitchnet is equipped with a sofa bed and with all amenities and comfort to welcome a couple with a baby

Renovated 150 year old "Quintinha" with private pool (9x3 meter) surrounded by terraces, gardens and fountains. 15 minutes walk to the historic city centre of Castelo de Vide and Fonte da Vila. The house is well isolated and has a central underfloor heating.
