Moosu Guest House is a railroad style cabin designed for two people with 12 foot ceilings and floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom for a superb stargazing experience. The private outdoor spa features a salt water cedar hot tub and barrel sauna. Turkish spa towels and cozy robes are provided to complete the spa experience. Tucked up on the mountain side: a scenic 10 minute drive from Nelson, 20 mins to White Water ski resort rd. Enjoy golf, fishing all the beauty, adventure and amenities the Kootenay’s have to offer.

The Caravan

Enjoy a memorable and unique experience in the 'Caravan', a tiny home built on the back of a 1967 International Loadstar. Cozy up and read a book in the spacious loft bed or take a bath in the outdoor tub (May - Oct). Have a romantic getaway, or bring your family of 3 and make use of the twin futon. Walk or ride your bike right out the door on our trails and take in one of the classes or events at For-rest Retreat. Salmo is the perfect place to stay and explore the beauty of the Kootenays.

A Peaceful and Private Studio Suite

A beautiful suite nestled in nature. It is located just outside of Balfour with access to the ferry landing, balfour store, a gas station and bakery. Ainsworth Hotsprings is a short 15 min drive, Kokanee Creek Provincial Park is 10 minutes away and Balfour Golf Course is even closer! Nelson and all its amenities is about a 25 minute jaunt. 4 wheel drive is recommended during winter weather as the last little stretch is a little steeper. Winter weather can be unpredictable.

A 1 min walk to a sandy beach; 5 min drive to town along the picturesque shoreline of Kootenay Lake; 25-30 min to the ski resort; or 30 min to Ainsworth Hotsprings. Perfect for Kootenay adventures or remote workers (fibre optic internet 1000 Mbps). Additional $50/night for a 3rd guest. Sorry, no pets.
