Monthly Rentals in Sandford

We chose Dulcies House because it was a good location for visiting relatives in Weston Super Mare (10-15 minutes drive). We had an elderly relative with us and we felt the single level floor would be essential for him. The property is on a quiet side road, approximately 0.8 mile from the centre of the village. There are a couple of pubs but we didn’t use them on this visit. Internally, level flooring to all areas, although two small steps to negotiate to the small patio area. Clean and well maintained. Kitchen had a good amount of utensils and kitchen equipment, including oven, microwave and dishwasher. There is a separate utility room with clothes washing machine and dryer.

Had a wonderful stay. Very spacious. Private. Felt right at home. Lovely massive bed in the main bedroom pillows and duvet also comfortable. Didn't use the 2 single beds but also a lovely room. The cottage just felt like it had a lovely atmosphere. You can leave the door open and windows without feeling like you have to have the door shut. Did Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole and Weston-super-Mare. Went to the Langford Inn and the Railway Inn plus in Cheddar had a lovely Indian at Rasoi and Milkshakes at Lion Rock Tea room. Jodie and Angus were helpful and friendly :-) Next time will definitely use the hot tub!

This was an amazing stay from start to finish! Becks and Roy went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time and were so responsive - the nicest hosts we’ve come across! The Nookery is a lovely space in countryside surroundings which was walkable to great pubs. The hot tub was a lovely treat and the little details inside made all the difference including toiletries, condiments, fresh flowers and water in the bedroom. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

The apartment was amazing, well-located and clean. Parking was a plus and we appreciated the goodies the host left for us. We really enjoyed staying. Thank you again.
