Beautiful Sea Views. Whitby location, near beach

PeterRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our stay in Amanda's flat. It was very clean and tidy and well equipped with quality furnishings . The flat was very quiet . Paring was very easy and excellent to have. The flat is very well located and town is only a short walk away. We would definitely recommend this flat for a short stay in Whitby as Whitby proved to be larger than we appreciated and we realise there is more to see. Also, huge number of good bars and restaurants within easy reach. the sea view is also a huge plus. Only thing we think would improve the flat would be a few more lamps in the living room and bedrooms for ease of reading . Also, a soap tray in the en-suite bathroom would not go amiss. We are already considering booking again while we can.

Ebor Cottage South

GavinRating, 5 stars21 months ago
Great little cottage, right across from the sea in lovely Sandsend. Sunrises were fantastic, the sound of the ocean at night was lovely. House was clean, with a lovely welcome basket when we arrived. Entrance to the front garden is via the house to the right as you are looking at the houses. There is a side door straight to kitchen as well - handy when you come from the beach in wet clothes etc. Three small things: - Extractor fan in the kitchen can't be turned off. This was a little annoying in the evenings when in the living room, but can't be heard in the bedrooms upstairs when the doors are closed. - The rubbish bins are at the back for collection on Mondays, so you will probably see other rubbish there when you first arrive (depending on day). - The parking at the front is first come first served. We arrived on a Sunday (bank holiday weekend) and there was no parking, so we had to go to a car park just up the road. Overall a fab cottage however. Would go again.

Central Whitby Georgian Apartment, 2pm check in

We had a lovely time in Whitby staying at Scarlet's place. The flat was exceptionally clean and big enough for us two friends sharing it. The location was great, only a few minutes walk to the supermarket, train station and attractions. We cooked a few meals in the kitchen and it was very well equipped for that which was great. In the bathroom shower gel is provided but make sure to bring your own shampoo etc. Would recommend!

Lovely 2 bedroom Holiday Home, right on the Beach.

A Hidden Gem in Sandsend Our stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Sandsend was truly unforgettable. Just a short walk from the beach, the flat offers stunning views, peaceful surroundings, and a real sense of escape. The space is tastefully decorated with a calming coastal charm—light, airy, and filled with thoughtful touches like a welcome hamper, It was spotless, comfortable, and felt like a true home away from home. The fish cottage fish tacos were the best we have ever had. If your wanting a breakfast definitely go to wits end cafe. Sandsend itself is a quiet, scenic village—ideal for long beach walks, exploring rock pools, or simply unwinding. It’s also just a short drive from Whitby, making it a great base for exploring the North Yorkshire coast. If you’re looking for a peaceful coastal retreat with style, comfort, and charm, this place is perfect. We’re already planning our return.

Crumbleclive Cabin

KatRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
After a hectic weekend, a couple of days at Aidan's place was peaceful and relaxing. A truly rural retreat, this is very much the cabin in the woods that the photos show. Aidan met us and showed us the ropes, and got the woodfired hot-tub on the deck going for us (which was amazing!). Surrounded by trees, and with the sound of the river below, this is the ultimate in peaceful relaxation. If booking, make sure you come prepared by bringing towels and fuss-free food. There's no fridge and kitchen per se, but there's an icebox and ice can be provided. Cooking is possible on the wood burner inside, and there's a kettle and toaster. A wonderful experience and we'd love to come back and explore the surroundings more!

What an amazing place to stay! Very fun and quirky but also very comfortable and with everything you need. Very cleverly converted carriage definitely one to remember. Kim is super helpful as a host. The food and service at the local Raven Hall and the nearby cafe also excellent. Highly recommended!

The Cabin at Shambala-Sauna now available to book!

DominicRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What an amazingly peaceful spot this is! The cabin is perfect for a short relaxing trip away. The views are spectacular and the surrounding countryside perfect for anyone who enjoys nature. We came accross rabbits, deer and squirrels within the woods around the property. The Cabin was cosy and perfect for 2 and full of great touches including books, games and a nice little record collection. Although we hardly saw them James and Helen were really friendly and hospitable. James even gave us a lift to the village when we were checking out.
