Monthly Rentals in Sandy Bay

We booked this Airbnb for our stay in Roatán with family. The house was spacious, clean and private. There were no issues with checking in or locating the house. The house was in the perfect location since it was close to everything we wanted to see but away from the main traffic areas. Our hosts were friendly, very responsive and checked in on us to make sure everything went smoothly. We would definitely book again. Thank you for the amazing stay.

Pauli is a lovely woman. We also rented her vehicle and she picked us up at the ferry terminal and allowed us to leave it at the airport.

House on the Hill was a lovely, peaceful stay for us. Gorgeous views from a spacious, private residence with the world’s sweetest dogs. The spot is quiet and very peaceful, and the home is lovely. As Yvonne clearly stated in the description, this would not be a fit for anyone with poor fitness or mobility issues. It is quite a hike up the hill! But we enjoy walking/hiking, so it didn’t bother us. There are two nice restaurants down the hill, right on the beach, but beyond that, it’s not really walking distance into town. We rented a scooter from the hosts, and that was extremely helpful for getting back and forth from our dive shop and restaurants in West End. We liked being able to easily get into town without having to deal with the noise and activity we’ve experienced staying down there in the past. The hosts also arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport, including a stop at a very nice supermarket. Yvonne and Franco were very responsive, friendly, and ideal hosts.

We had an amazing stay! Karolina arranged a driver to pick us up from the ferry and he took us to the grocery store to grab a few things before taking us to the house. He was great and speaks english. Karolina was there when we arrived and showed us around. The property is beautiful! It was a little windy while we were there so we didnt do as much snorkeling as we had hoped by we did enjoy some snorkeling and paddle boarding. It was mango season and there are some huge mango trees on the property so we enjoyed fresh mangos every day. We enjoyed spending time on the deck and even used the BBQ a couple times. Karolina even took our laundry for us and had it done for us so we didnt have to try to figure that out. She definitely went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We loved West End and even figured out the bus system and enjoyed taking the bus to and from town for 25 lempira each($1). If your not a bus person, there's also taxis for $2 each.
