Great and relaxing location, close to local amenities. Perfect for small groups, Hillary was awesome to rent from.

Cottage 2 br, well equipped kitchen and nice extra porch enclosed and furnished beachy decor. Backyard comfortable adirondack chairs for sitting. Near to beach with free parking if spots are available. plenty of restaurants and grocery nearby. Last cottage in the row and was quiet. Pool and hot tub on property. Would rent again.

Kathi’s place was great! Super close to the Downtown Portland/Old Port area. Kathi was a great host, extremely responsive and genuinely nice, plus she even made my family and I some delicious blueberry muffins for our stay! Her instructions were clear and she made us feel right at home! Would definitely stay again whenever we’re in the area!

Great stay so homey and comfortable has everything we needed staying with two little girls ! Having laundry and kitchen made everything so convenient ! Close to so many things to do was the best vacation we’ve been on would definitely love to come back . Clean and organized everything was easy to find ! Great amenities pool ect !

The house is beautiful and the views are just breathtaking. From inside the house, you get a beautiful view of the lake and then the porch is amazing. You can kayak, use the paddle board or use the canoe. You can also sit by the lake and enjoy the campfire. The surroundings are very beautiful and peaceful. The host is very responsive, solved all our doubts and was flexible with us during check-in and check-out, which we appreciated very much. At check-in, we were greeted by a great bottle of wine and chocolates, which was a great touch. The house also has a ping pong table, books to read and board games. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics. We had an amazing stay, we highly recommend this property :)

Great house! Very spacious, plenty of bathrooms, and fantastic location. Very easy to communicate with the owners and check in/out was simple. My minor only critique is that we wish the grill were a bit bigger and nicer. We wanted to grill one day, but we were a little disappointed and unable to do so due to the grill quality. Would definitely stay again!

Top notch spot and host!! We had such a great time at Alexa’s lovely home! It was so cozy, beautifully decorated, modernized, and had all the essential items you’d need - plus it is completely pet friendly! Our dog loved the fenced in yard with a doggy door to get out to it. The sauna, endless pool, and hot tub are just amazing amenities to have on site - that sunroom was my favorite place in the house to say the least! Can’t say enough about it and Alexa, too! She is super friendly, responsive, and had great recommendations for fun and good food in the area. Overall, it was just a wonderful and relaxing experience for our first time on the Maine coast and we can’t wait to visit again!

Excellent location! Right on the beach. Beautiful gardens. Bird feeders gave us some view of the wildlife. The indoor porch was a spectacular place to sit and surround yourself with natural light. Roku TV allows you to easily connect your streaming platforms. We appreciate the kitchen basics provided.... basic spices and oils are a nice touch and very helpful. Very comfortable.

This home served our family of 5 very well. It is a wonderful place if you like a beautiful lake view and easy access. The sound of the loons calling at night under a calm sky is very restful. The place has a warm, cabin feel with plenty of room to spread out and find your own space. Plenty of games and a great vinyl record collection and turntable make the evenings fun if you’re not down at the fire pit. We would stay again!

Jenn's place is gorgeous and perfect for a peaceful, nature escape! Our group had an amazing stay in this cozy cabin- staying by the lake during the day and enjoying all of the board games in the evening. The kitchen was stocked with spices, condiments and cooking supplies which made for a nice surprise as we cooked most of our meals inside. The listing included a paddleboard for use which we couldn't find, but we enjoyed the kayaks regardless and the private beach is very accessible and beautiful. We highly recommend Jenn's place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Jim’s place in South Berwick was a wonderful place to stay during our visit to New Hampshire and Maine. The home had lots of great rustic charm, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils, and the space was comfortable for the five of us visiting. We enjoyed the peaceful street, the view of the meadow behind the home and the local farm stand only quick drive down the road. Jim was a great host and attentive to our needs. We would be happy to recommend his home and would definitely stay again if in the area again.

Our stay at Mousam Lake was simply wonderful. The house is rustic and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed. I love that there are ice cube trays in the freezer. It’s a little touch that just makes life easier. We were 5 adults with 4 dogs and everyone had enough room. Sitting on the deck felt like being in a treehouse and bringing the Adirondack chairs down to the dock was a pleasure on warmer days. A short drive to Hannaford allowed us to stock up and enjoy family meals and game nights in the cozy living room. Lea responded quickly to any question we had. This was a wonderful, relaxing vacation at the lake.

We had an amazing stay at this two-level Airbnb house. Renting both levels, it was perfect for our group of 10. The location was ideal—walking distance to downtown, with coffee shops, restaurants, and a farmers market nearby. The house was spotless, with modern touches like an instant shower and a luxurious bathroom. The hot tub was a favorite, and the fast WiFi was a big plus. The host was very responsive through the app, making the entire experience smooth and hassle-free. The house was exactly as described in the listing, and it comfortably accommodated all of us. Compared to a hotel, this was a fantastic bargain, offering more space, comfort, and amenities. Highly recommend for any large group looking for a convenient and enjoyable stay!

Every year we pick a place on the lake between Mother's and Father's day to celebrate over a weekend. We love to kayak and visit the local eateries while relaxing in nature. This year we were fortunate enough to find Katherine's home in Acton, ME for Memorial Day weekend. The house was spacious, comfortable, clean, and homey (and right on the lake)! Katherine and Nick were both very responsive and friendly with check-in check-out and we loved the places listed on their travel guide. The house is a short hour drive from Kennebunkport and Portland so we took some day trips during the rainy days and floated around the peaceful inlet of Mousam Lake when sunny. Leaving the inlet takes you to the rest of Mousam Lake where we saw motor boats, jet skis and one person wake boarding! Our old dog, Shaggy, had a blast and the long road leading to the property gave him the ability to run around without bothering any neighbors, who were all very friendly! Definitely worth a return visit!

This is a great place to stay just outside of Ogunquit its only 7 mins down the road. All the comforts of home and amenities. We would stay here again. it's also centrally located enough to do ALOT we went as far south as Boston and as far north as Acadia national park and as far west as white mountain national forest.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy, comfortable, and peaceful home—perfect for our family of five! The space was quiet, private, and truly felt like a home away from home. It's in a beautiful location right by Lake Province, and we had almost everything we needed for our 3-night Easter weekend stay. Our older children attend UNH, and this was the perfect spot for us all to be together, relax, play games, and enjoy quality family time. We love to cook, and the brand new kitchen was gorgeous and a joy to use—we prepared three amazing meals together! Just a heads-up for fellow cooks: the kitchen is stocked with the basics, so if you're planning more elaborate meals, you might want to bring a few extra tools. The outdoor space was also a highlight! With beautiful weather all three days, we spent a lot of time outside enjoying the fire pit, string lights, grilling, eating al fresco, and just being together. We truly loved our stay and are already looking forward to coming back.

We had a fantastic week-long stay at Heidi's home. She was an exemplary host from the beginning to the very end -- always responsive, flexible, and very helpful. She knew we were going to be arriving at nighttime, and that there would be construction going on nearby with exit closures. She took time to provide detailed instructions on how to get around those closures which alternated between two exists every night from 7pm-7am. This is their real home, so when you enter, you feel like you have entered your home away from home. Everything in the house is not just clean, but spotless. The beds were comfortable and the surroundings are just gorgeous -- especially the sunroom, which is like something out of a dream. We even saw some wild turkeys at a distance in the backyard! Of all the Airbnbs we have stayed at, this was by far the nicest and the most memorable. Thanks so much, Heidi and Dennis.

The home was comfortable, with beautiful large windows that made you feel immersed in the trees. Waking up to birdsong and ending the day around the fire pit by the dock was a real highlight. That said, the layout of the bedrooms is best suited to more agile guests. The two lofts rooms are best suited for nimble adults or older kids, likely not ideal for young children or guests over 50. Ended up sharing the main bed with our toddler, which worked fine, but something to keep in mind when planning sleeping arrangements. Overall, a very peaceful and scenic spot - definitely highly recommend.
